Personally I didn’t make it through the door. The drunk man outside and cigarette smoke wafting out door was enough to turn me abruptly away. Not good.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. This place is very small so if it gets packed its hard to move around. Smoking is allowed in here, and since its so small you will get smell like cigarettes when you leave. I’ve been here a handful of times and usually i could ignore these things coupled with the old music, and bad service, but on my last visit as I entered The staff at the bar was sitting around in the booths laughing and having fun. I went to walk into the pool room, and my group was yelled at by one of the bartenders. «HEYNIGGASDONTJUSTWALKUPINHERESHOWSOMEMOTHERFUCKINGID». The staff all had a good laugh. I was very shocked, and proceeded to leave. No way I’m spending my money at an establishment that doesn’t have the decency to be respectful. Don’t waste your time or money coming here.

Worst bar I’ve ever been to… literally. Ordered two coronas… bill =$ 21.00 … the bus boy stole a full pack of cigarettes from our table… overheard the bartender use racial slurs… the waitress was taking shots from the bar and was too drunk to take orders… as we left my girlfriend muttered I don’t think we should come back here, at a low volume… the door man overheard and yelled verbatim«fuck you we dont want you back here anyways». I turned around because I didn’t really believe it and he was slamming the door repeatedly… hard… we had not been bad patrons… we didn’t cause a problem… we left a decent tip even though we were treated horrible… I can’t believe this place is still open. We saw other customers treated with distaste as well. DONOTGOHERE!!! I have never ever been to a business and been treated this way, they dont care about their customers and seem to be running the place into the ground. No redeeming qualities. One star only because I can’t rate any it any lower.

I visited Six Ways 2 Sunday to participate in an open mic comedy show. I usually don’t drive this far OTP for my entertainment — especially at night, but I’ll ride for the opportunity to tell jokes, so I filled up my gas tank and headed down I-20. Like a lot of bars these days, Six Ways 2 Sunday is located in a strip mall, but lucky for their neighbors, they are the only business open at night. And they stay open late — 3am on a Tuesday night! And they have a crowd of regulars who keep the place hopping. While I was leaving at a respectable 12:30am(don’t judge me!), a group of ladies came in freshly showered and dressed for flirting. The bar itself is nicely sized with nothing unexpected — a couple of booths in the front and a lot of high top tables in the back — some long enough to seat a party of 6 – 8. There is also an area with a pool table surrounded by a few high top tables and a love seat(it looked kinda cozy…) Service was slow the night I went because there were only a couple of servers taking care of both the bar and the tables on the floor and the place was pretty full. But both ladies were friendly and helpful; they didn’t seem harrassed when they talked to you although there was a lot of rushing around. They have a full bar and beer both on tap and in bottles. I ordered a grilled chicken salad with the chicken tossed in buffalo sauce — the buffalo sauce was at my request. The salad was better than I expected, and I would order it again. One of the other comics ordered a stuffed burger that looked delicious — the menu lists the items you can stuff inside your burger — like mushrooms, peppers, death… etc.(I can’t eat a stuffed burger and I’m jealous of those who can.sorry.) The menu itself is basic and has the usual bar food — wings, fried everything, sandwiches, salads, but it’s small so it won’t take you too long to decide what you want. After the comedy show, they had karaōke which people were flirting with each other too much to take advantage of. But there is a DJ booth and I can imagine some nights the tables are pushed to the side for some Conyers dancing — which I don’t know what would be like but I’m sure it would be worth watching and posting on Facebook. My only downer was the smoke. Although it’s not as bad as other places and I could breathe easily, I left smelling like the Marlboro Man and that’s…not good. I gave Six Ways 2 Sunday 4 stars because my drinks and food were good, the service was as good as it could be, there was ample parking, and they stay open late(night owls need love too.) This place is exactly what I think of when I think«bar», and that’s a good thing. Unilocal 52 #1
