My husband went here for the family about two weeks ago. Upon getting home and opening up his Big Mac he discovered the lettuce and the patty had all shifted from the burger. He went to reconstruct the sandwich and discovered his burger patty had a huge bite shape out of it. This location couldn’t be bothered to answer the phone for the two hours we tried. Contacted corporate and filed an official complaint and McDonald’s has still failed to follow up. I could see how not every patty is perfect but if that’s not a bite out of the patty someone had to notice. Don’t use the patty if it doesn’t look right. Not returning.

I hate that I even have to give this a star. Worst customer service ever. Asked to borrow a pen and was 21 questioned about it. It’s a pen! Awful awful! I will never go here again!

I usually stay away from fast food, but I do have one guilty pleasure and that is a nice cold Coke from McDonald’s. I don’t know what it is about it, but I loooove their Coca-Cola. Something about their Coke tastes different than anywhere else and so much better. Normally I don’t drink soda as I try to avoid high fructose corn syrup, I’d much rather spend those calories on beer, but I do on occasion like to treat myself to a large coke from McDonald’s. I think at this point, pretty much everyone can agree that McDonald’s is bad food that is bad for you. As far as I’m concerned, McDonald’s sole purpose to to sling their grease laden food and tooth-rot-inducing beverages to their customers as quickly as possible. If McDonald’s does one thing well and in my opinion, it really only does this one thing well, it is that they are generally very fast. Unfortunately, it is in this one area, speed, that this McDonald’s in Coon Rapids falls flat. As I mentioned in the beginning of this review, I’m a sucker for a McDonald’s Coke. Pretty much the only time I get one is when I’m on my way to go fishing as I’m usually leaving pretty early in the morning and the sugar and caffeine help keep me awake on the drive. My most recent stop at this McDonald’s was today at 3:00AM as I was headed to the scenic north shore of Wisconsin to fish for some steelhead. At 3:00AM on a Wednesday, you wouldn’t really expect a McDonald’s to be busy, and indeed, when I pulled around to the drive-through, there was only one car in front of me. Somehow it took them over ten minutes to service the car in front of me. Now, I’m not the sort to write a scathing review based on a single instance of slow service because I know shit happens. Unfortunately, this is at least the fifth time I’ve had service that is ridiculously slow at this McDonald’s between the hours of 3:00AM and 6:00AM. I say to you McDonald’s of Foley Blvd, you have failed. Your sole purpose to to serve your crappy food and drink in a quick manner and you are not able to do this. Shut your doors and call it quits!

Pretty nice as far as McDonald’s go, it was just remodeled in 2012.
