I’m in my late twenties and have been CrossFiting, Olympic lifting, and coaching both for over 4 years. I currently live/work in Boston, but grew up in Oneonta and have dropped in on Cooperstown CrossFit several times while visiting family back home. The level of instruction is suburb and the instructors know how to break down complicated movements to clients of all levels. The workouts are fantastic(which I sometimes follow in Boston) and shows a knowledge and understanding of designing programming. It’s a great addition to the Oneonta community. I’d recommend Cooperstown CrossFit to anyone, but especially: 1. People trying to lose weight but have gotten no where with their typical workout routine. 2. Athletes who want to learn how to lift. Not bicep curls, but dynamic movements like snatch and clean + jerk. 3. Anyone who has a personal trainer who just puts you on a machine and tells you how many reps to do(this is instruction is much more valuable and worth your time)

Évaluation du lieu : 5 Cooperstown, NY
Cooperstown CrossFit is an amazing place. Coach Dan has created an environment that’s educational, fun, motivational, and above all… incredibly demanding. Young, old, big, little… everyone who walks into his CrossFit center(box) is treated with respect, given a tsunami of instruction, and then he sees you through from the start of the workout to the finish. Every day his prescribed workouts take you either within, just beyond, or completely outside of the comfort zone(you scale it, you choose!). But the best part about the Cooperstown CrossFit Box? There’s love in this facility. Stinkin’, sweatin’, limit pushin’ love and everyone is family. We work towards a common goal every day, and we don’t get there until everyone has given all they have. Go to the website, look at the class schedule, show up, ask questions, call Dan if you want, but make sure you go to a class. New to Cooperstown? Here on vacation? You absolutely must attend a class. It’ll be the highlight of your trip. Currently living close by and are thinking about trying this out? Sign up for a month. It’ll be the best choice you ever make.
