Oregon Wine Cellars Etc

One of my favorite things to do when visiting a small town is walking through the downtown and visiting the local businesses. This place is a gem. The owner, Tamara, was on site and quickly greeted me, helped me as I shopped, made suggestions for particular wines and was just downright nice and fun! I got a phone call after my purchase and had to run out and didn’t want to worry about carrying the wine and glassware I had purchased from her to the lunch spot down the street. So, she offered to hold the items until I was finished with lunch. Meanwhile, she wrapped them nicely (since she knew I was traveling «down the road») and I was so appreciative of her concern. When I made it back home from my trip to Coos Bay, a few days later, and opened up my package of purchases I was surprised to see that Tamara had thrown in a little gift for me. How sweet! This is why I love small business owners and try to frequent their shops as often as I can!

Nice selection of Oregon wines (with some non-​Oregon wines available as well). A great place to go, especially if you don’t know exactly what you’re looking for. I will certainly be back.

Excellent wine shop! If you can’t find what your looking for the owner will order it for you. She is super friendly, knowledgeable and speaks Polish and German! Great lady. I highly recommend this shop if you are a wine connoisseur or just looking for a bottle of wine for a special occasion.

If there is a hidden gem in Coos Bay, this would be the place. After passing by this shop so many times I never found myself able (or legally at least) to bring myself in until recently.
Stepping into the little shop for the first time was just overwhelming in a good way! There was so much wine to select from it was just a shock. I didn’t know where to begin nor what to look for but thankfully the staff was present and willing to help (not to mention, very friendly too!) I for one didn’t know that Oregon had such a wineries across the state but they educated me and assisted in what wines are best for certain occassions even going as far as providing some tips and a roadmap to the wineries of Oregon.
If anything, shop locally because you just never know what you could find and this store has definitely proven that!

It’s true… if you love wine, this is a fantastic store. It’s more than shopping… it’s an experience! While I do think the store likely attracts more tourists than locals (you’ll find the locals at Walmart or Fred Meyer wine department :) I’ve never been in the store without having a great experience!
Friendly, knowledgable and a bit pricier than you can purchase some of the same wines for elsewhere… but it’s never quite the same.
Lovely addition to our main street in town. To me, this is one of our downtown iconic businesses — and as a local, I’m proud to have such a store!

I think this should have been Unilocaled by the locals. I guess it is on the tourist strip of Coos Bay more or less, so I ‘m doing it. The owner is knowledgable, friendly and the store is chock full of good Oregon wines of all qualities. I loved it and have recommended it several times. Definitely a must-​stop for anyone going through or staying in the area.
