Stephanie you are absolution amazing! A pure heart Thank You for sharing your kindness. We loved our stay and would love to come back on other weekend runaway adventure. What a lovely place! We got there late at night and they not only left us a key but left the porch light on too. The owners were absolutely wonderful. I would definitely recommend staying here. It was exactly as described.

The Old Tower House is a cute little B&B in Coos Bay. The house was built in 1872, so it has a lot of character to it. The owners Tom and Stephanie are incredibly friendly and inviting. Their other guests hadn’t arrived yet, so we got a full tour of the house and all the rooms. Each has its own distinct décor and charm, but the Ivy Cottage out back is the way to go. The Ivy Cottage is the original tack house for this place. It is supposed to be decorated in a Gothic, Victorian style décor(at least that’s what I was told), but I found a high degree of «country farmhouse» mixed into the decorations as well. It is the only room option that has its own private bathroom. It also has its own private parking area, and is the only room that has a TV complete with DirecTV satellite programming. You’ll also find a mini fridge and coffee pot. The small living room area is nice to relax in, although the couch isn’t all that comfy, so be weary if you’re planning on using it as a pull-out sofa. Breakfast is at 8:30…sharp! Fortunately this fit just fine with the itinerary I had planned for our trip. We had some kind of delicious fruit-covered pastry, sausage, yogurt with fruit and granola, and of course coffee. This was a great way to start the day. You won’t find many options for places to stay in Coos Bay, Oregon, but I’d say The Old Tower House is by far one of the nicest we saw.
