So great to be able to eat anything on the menu! Haha. Even when I was an omnivore, I was very picky so this is great. We got seitan marsala, eggplant parm, bbq jackfruit pizza, and fried oyster mushroom calamari. The calamari was good! I liked the vegan tartar sauce a lot(disclaimer: I would’ve never eaten tartar sauce before I was vegan, but the two omnis with me approved). The seitan marsala with greenbeans and mashed potatoes was AWESOME(approved by my mother, grandma seemed a little iffy on the seitan but said the dish had a great flavor overall)! The pizza was better leftover and cold for some reason. I don’t think I would get it again, just because I’m not a big fan of jackfruit. I would like to try one of the more traditional pizzas though. The cashew cheese was great too. Very mild, but creamy and pleasant. The dining room is nice and clean. I have 0 complaints really. I guess they don’t make the desserts there which is kinda lame but that’s it. Definitely get some seitan though, oh my god.

Even my non vegan friends love coming with me for a pie, plus with not many vegans in Long Island it’s great to come home to from college to grab a quick pie at a whole vegan restaurant. The food is always good whenever I go and the staff is always friendly. I’ve only had one problem where apparently my credit card wasn’t working and was swiped three points where the system had said it was declined, I ended up paying with cash and later called American Express and found out it has actually been charged the three times. Otherwise, there’s never been an issue and hope they just resolve any issue there might be for the next visit!

Finally; a fab vegan restaurant on Long Island! Had the eggplant rollatini as an entrée. Huge portions, and delicious! Better than some of the vegan places in the city. Average restaurant prices for their dishes, but oh, so much healthier for you. Aren’t you worth it?

Can’t say enough good things about the food at this place. Don’t be scared of a «vegan» restaurant. Meat-lovers will be pleasantly surprised and vegetarians will be in heaven. I actually grew up in Copiague and had been going to their first location in Oceansidd for a while. When they opened the vegan café in my hometown I was ecstatic. I make a point to go here(sometimes multiple times) every time I visit. I have slowly been making my way through the menu and have thoroughly enjoyed everything I have tried. Give the vegan wine a try, too. It pairs wonderfully with the food. Don’t forget about dessert either! They have a sister location in Farmingdale. It is more casual and not 100% vegan but also worth checking out. Food there is also very very good!

STAYAWAY!!! We rececently visited for a friend’s retirement party and I made a reservation for 20 in advance. Two weeks before the event, I called and they didnt have my reservation(that should have been my first clue). After a lengthy back and forth with the owner who actually said(«did you speak with ME?»), he reluctantly agreed to our party of 20(unbelievable — I was practically begging him to take our business). We said we would be there by 5 and out by 7pm. When we got there, the restaurant was busy and our waiter was juggling most of the tables by himself — or so it seemed. We placed our orders and waited… and waited… and waited. The meals started coming out 2 – 3 at a time, not all together. Random appetizers came out along with the meals. The owner carried out a few apps and basically told us huurry up and eat(we had about 30 minutes left). I never even received my meal and by that time — I told the waiter to forget it. I had an app and bread. We had requested separate checks in advance — so when the check came, it was one long bulkly receipt with sections circled. We manually figured our contribution. When we went to the front of the restaurant to pay, the cash register was broken and the owner was yelling at the young waiter who was deperately trying to help. It was an impossible situation and I felt really sorry for the poor waiter. The owner was so incredibly rude from the get-go and the food was lacking(or so I was told by the majority of the folks who did eat), that I would NEVER, EVER go there again. We spent well over $ 250 and should have been attended with MUCH better service. He was almost resentful that we would be taking up space on a Staurday night. And the owner should have offered to serve us family style or limit the selections to make serving easier — but he didnt think of any of those options and the result was a complete disaster and an uneccessarily overwhlemed kitchen. I’m not even sure that would have helped, but I will never return .

By far the best meal I ever had. The eggplant rollatini was to die for. We ordered half of a bianca and half of a grandma pizza. The bianca was my favorite and it tasted absolutely amazing. I am so glad there is an all vegan restaurant on Long Island. I will definatly be back here over and over again. 10⁄10

Let me start this by saying that This review comes from a place of love. I am a frequent at 3 brothers pizza café and 3 brothers vegan café. Being vegan on Long Island and knowing how amazing and talented jay astafa is… I had really high hopes for 3 brothers vegan café. Especially knowing how great the pizza café in farmingdale is. I am writing this hoping that management sees it and will be proactive so this doesn’t end the way I am imagining it. Several months back when the café opened, ITWASAMAZING. Although very obvious when jay worked and when he didn’t as you can tell by quality and presentation of the food. It was so good that I would frequent it, often times ordering so many dishes that it was a little ridiculous and I would have food for days to come. Each dish, better than the next. The cake supplier that they used was beyond incredible. Over the last few months each trip I make there, it is a disappointment. Quality and taste rapidly decreasing. It went from amazing to not really worth the drive for me to now I probably won’t be returning and will continue to be a customer at the farmingdale location as they are always consistent. Almost every dish that I keep trying thinking it will be better lets me down. I took my whole family there and they were disappointed and my mom even said the buffalo cauliflower tasted like refrigerate since it clearly gets made ahead of time and then left to sit. The rice balls used to be amazing now they are just mush in a soup of sauce. Even the mozzarella was so mushy last time I couldn’t even eat it. Before that, it was out of this world. It also seems the management is no where to be found. The waitstaff is very slow and kind of all over the place. Suddenly the place lacks structure, service, quality and taste meanwhile it started out being phenomenal. I hope this review is seen by the right person. I feel like the talent behind the place may be on to bigger and better which is amazing but as a new business this place needs his support still until it’s steady and structured. I would love for it to turn around. Until then, farmingdale it is. But I want to see it succeed, I really do and I miss it!

Amazing!!! First time there & I will be back. I had the buffalo cauliflower & meatballs. I ordered the cauliflower because every review I read was raving about them. They are not lying! Had carrot cake too, so good.

Absolutely LOVE this place!!! Whether you’re vegan or not, the food is outstanding! The seitan piccata is my favorite! We also like the mushroom calamari as an appetizer! The seitan parmesan pizza is super good too! I am vegan& my husband isn’t. We come here very often and both really enjoy it. Staff is very friendly. You should call before for reservations, especially during the weekends! Enjoy!!!

My friends and I have been visiting 3 Brothers Pizza Café in Farmingdale for nearly all four years we have been at college on Long Island. Now if that place can be described as stellar by vegan standards, this place somehow exceeds that, maybe because they are the first ALLVEGAN spot on the island. So great to see them expanding and spreading the love of vegan food. It goes without saying that our non vegan friends and family were just as blown away. I can’t recommend this place enough. First of all, the cashew milk cheese made in house is perfect. I have gotten it in their calzone loaded with seitan sausage and onion and I am so excited to be reunited with cheesy delicious calzones once again. The ziti. Awesome. The Caesar salad is even a meal in and of itself. And like the other location, they have vegan cheesecake. Their pizzas are as good too, try the jackfruit. I can’t wait to come back here.

Wow! 3 Brothers, where have you been all my life? I just tried this heaven sent resturant for the first time and I just want to tell all of Long Island how amazing the food is. I highly recommend this place to anyone, YES, even those who aren’t vegan, like myself. I got my food to go and it was amazing, I can only imagine how great itll be when I «dine-in» next time. Thank you, 3 Brothers, for existing.

I don’t usually get to venture into vegan restaurants, but my boyfriend’s family ventured here on the hearty recommendation of his recently-vegan sister. Well, after going I can definitely understand why she loves it so much! 3 Brothers is located at the end of a little shopping strip on Montauk Highway – make sure to enter the parking lot at the right end! You enter the restaurant into the bakery area and see right away into their kitchen. Right around the corner is where all the tables and seating are located. The décor is cozy and homey – it is definitely a nice clean and semi-casual atmosphere. But on to the important items: FOOD! The entire family sat down and perused through the menu. We came away with the following: Apps: Buffalo Cauliflower Mac & Cheese Bites Entrees: Several pizzas* Rigatonia a la Norma(what I got) First off, the apps… I’m not usually a buffalo wing fan, but the buffalo cauliflower in addition to the cashew milk«blue cheese» sauce was fantastic! The mac and cheese balls were good, slightly crispy on the outside and wonderfully creamy on the inside – but there was some sort of flavor lacking, maybe it needed a little more salt? I’m not sure. But solid on the mac and cheese balls and excellent with the buffalo cauliflower. Then to the entrees: the pizzas were sizable. The table had gotten one pizza each –turns out we should have done one pizza per two people instead. They’re pretty damn big! Everyone really enjoyed the toppings to their pizza, the vegan cheese was enjoyable, the bbq jackfruit was surprisingly like pulled pork(really!), and the tomato sauce was good. There is only one suggestion the family in general would make to the pizza and it was with regards to the crust: perhaps the crust was lacking in something – it might be the flour in addition to a need for more salt, but it tasted a little bland and the texture was odd. But all in all the pizza was good! Just a few tweaks could make it great. Pizza aside, here was the star of the show for me: the rigatoni a la norma. The pasta was al dente, the sauce was flavorful and with just the right amount of garlic, the eggplant was tender and juicy. The cashew milk ricotta was also a great addition – as someone who is lactose intolerant, all this cashew milk dairy is a godsend haha! All in all, 3 Brothers Vegan Café was a good experience and it definitely opened my eyes to how vegan food can be more than just quinoa and tofu. Just a couple easy tweaks could take it from a good experience to a great one.

The Mac and cheese bites are amazing. And I’m really impressed by the cashew mozzarella. The cabanara was good, but the crowd favorite at my table was the Alfredo. The salad servings are HUGE. If you are looking for a salad for an appetizer, share it with a friend! Will definitely be back.

We have been waiting for an authentic vegan restaurant on long island for years– and finally it is here. Traditional Italian comfort food with a vegan twist. The«Fried Calamari» was better than I could have imagined. Seitan Picata was delish! Portions are large. Deserts are from Vegan Treats — to die for. We are going back again and again…

This one’s for the trend-hopping vegans that’ll chew through lukewarm, moist pizza dough and costly bowls of leaves in the false pursuit of being«healthy.» I’m not kidding; the reviews 3 Brother’s are getting are as biased as a Kentucky clansman. First, the food here is more lackluster than the remake of A Nightmare on Elm Street, although starkly synonymous. I woke up in the middle of the night feeling a satanic, bladed fist slice though my wounded ass canal. My date and I customized our own pizza(she insisted we try it). Wheat crust, eggplant, mushrooms, etc. 17 $ for an 8 inch mini pie that was soggier than my great grandmothers diaper. A sad sight; I’m almost tempted to sample that diaper to gauge the difference in flavor. They’re probably on par when it comes to taste. What arrived next was a 12 $ Greek salad; a microscopic bowl that included a 6 $ add on of avocado and an 8 $ synthetic meat patty; bringing it to a grand total of $ 25 for a meal my neurotic terrier would sniff and walk away from. Is the food even organic to justify the insane markup? Of course it isn’t. Today’s idiot doesn’t care. Idiot simply wants to «feel healthy» and have his pockets raped(My date treated me). If you prefer vegetarian/vegan, there’s far more suitable places you can sample. Witches Brew, Food for Thought and Organic Corner are among them.

The food here is delicious. If you have someone who turns their nose up at Vegan food, bring them here and their minds will change the second they take a bite. I can’t say enough good things about this place. The chef is so talented! He even makes his own cheese in house!

Here’s the thing. You can eat at multiple restaurants in Manhattan, where most of the stuff is phoned in. They buy the mock meats from the same supplier, the cheese from Daiya, and the rest of the stuff is basically the same old same old that you can find from any other place you go. Veggie burgers. Whatever. Seitan something or other. Meh. Beans? Whatever. This place has an imaginative menu, where the food is all made from scratch, in-house, and uses vegetables, nuts, and grains in different ways than what you’ve seen. There are indeed old favourites like the mozzarella sticks, which are served at the Farmingdale location, but there’s also new things, like a pasta carbonara that NAILS it from the first bite to the last. I spotted that pasta carbonara, and had to have it. The chef got it perfectly. Smoky, creamy, and perfectly al dente pasta. We started with the appetisers, and ordered pretty much everything, because why not? This is what I love most about eating out: getting all the different things that a place offers that you can’t get anywhere else, and sharing with your friends so that you each get a taste of something different with each bite. The waitress Evelyn was a riot. She was so happy that we seemed to be enjoying ourselves that she made sure to visit our table plenty of times to make sure that we were happy with our experience. She was excited when she saw that we were ordering so many different things, and let us know that we were really going to have fun. And we did! What a pleasure it is to have service from someone who is warm, welcoming, and personable overall. The space itself is a lot more comfortable than the one in Farmingdale. We had a booth~ish situation with comfy banquette with chairs on the other side. I am not one for mock meats or cheeses, but this was a truly special meal that we really enjoyed thoroughly. And, for all that food we ate, the bill came to around $ 28 per person with tax and tip. Not cheap by any means, but certainly not as expensive as I’d have expected that much food to have cost. Even if you’re not in Long Island, make the trip out and make it to here.

It pains me to say this, but this place was a bit of a letdown. Which, sucks because I’ve been waiting for a wholly-vegan/vegetarian/plant-based restaurant for AGES now, and unfortunately, what we got was vegan comfort/junk food… With all the potential that a wholly plant-based restaurant could have here on Long Island, with farms from end to end, fresh seasonal produce available nearly year-round, and endless culinary combinations, all this place offers are tired imitations of red sauce joint food. Lasagna. Spaghetti. Pizza. Boring. And with pretty much all of the appetizers being deep fried, unhealthy to boot. Are things tasty here? Yeah, sure. If you bread and deep fry anything and cover it in marinara sauce, of course it’s going to be tasty. But that’s not my issue my issue is with the lack of creativity and focus on real plant-based food. If I missed meat and cheese, I wouldn’t be vegan, so spare me the fake cheeses and meat routine. As far as the space itself… I understand you’re most likely on a budget and that in opening a small restaurant, the interior is most likely the last hung on your mind, but making a few trips to Home Goods doesn’t create a welcoming dining room. Neither does the EDM playing through the speakers. As for service. It is what it is. Not bad. Not great. Friendly. Look, I hate the fact that I’m leaving a negative review, especially since a little vegan solidarity goes a long way, but if this is going to be the only vegan restaurant on this island, then I’d want it to be good. Damn good. And the only way one gets good is by realizing one’s faults. I wish you all continued success.

Had high expectations that were met. My first impression is based around CASHEWMILKCHEESE. Let me start from the beginning. For appetizers were had the Caprese and Cauliflower Buffalo Wings. The cashew milk mozzarella absolutely blew me away on the Caprese, I could not believe the creamy texture and striking resemblance to traditional dairy cheese. Cauliflower Buffalo Wings are the epitome of clever plant based nutrition. With the bleu cheese dressing they are better than a seitan version on the pizza. I ordered the buffalo chicken panini which came with fries and ketchup. This included cashew milk mozzarella. This was satisfying as a dinner but would be great as a quick lunch. I recommend a panini if you’re bringing children. French fries are familiar and inviting. Secondly, I ordered the jackfruit bbq pizza which had both mozzarella and cheddar cheese. The creaminess of the cheese was divine and far superior to the popular daiya brand of cheese. I tried my grandma’s seitan Marsala which I enjoyed a lot and would like to order as my meal next time. The mashed potatoes were creamy and delicious. For dessert, I had a rainbow cake which I already know and love. Tastes like the real thing but no animals hurt in the making! Only two drawbacks IMO: (1) It is very warm in the restaurant and when we asked to raise the AC they said they were cooking a lot which was the cause of the heat (2) Price. I respect the class of food Jay is putting out but the appetizers seemed overpriced. Neither are issues to stop me from returning nor withholding a single star. The message and importance of an all vegan café these days is so important and a pioneer in the movement deserves all five stars. Aside from my dining experience, allow me to point out something ironic. In the bathroom, I noticed a Febreeze air freshener which is NOT cruelty-free! This means the air freshener is tested on animals. Just thought a vegan café would be more conscious of this. In closing, I recommend this place for vegans and non-vegans alike! It’s classy and clean with a very friendly, attentive waitstaff! And… MAKESUREYOUTRYCASHEWMILKCHEESEINSOMEFORM.
