I’m perplexed because I’ve been coming here since I was a kid. For over 30 years. I don’t live in the area and still make the trip once in a while. The pizza is still just as great as it used to be. Sadly the place looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in 30 years as well. Please do something about your establishments interior. Please. Or you are going to lose life long customers due to the disgusting filth n run down interior. I don’t care how good the pizza is, it’s disgusting inside and it frustrates me as a life long customer to see your place go to crap like that. And for the record I was there today. Pizza was great but I felt like I should got get a tetanus shot after I left.

I tried Alberts in Copiague for the first time and it was very delicious! Great square pizza! I got nervous because I was the only customer in the restaurant for a good 10−15mins. Eventually, other customers came in to pick up orders. There isn’t anything exciting about the décor and there are only 3 booths for sitting. I originally bought 3 pepperoni squares for me and the family but it was so good I ended up buying 2 more! Definitely will be going back. I can’t wait to try the other things they have to offer!

Best pizza in NY! Yes it’s different(sauce is on top of the cheese) but it is absolutely delicious! Don’t be afraid to try it! You won’t regret it! Don’t hate if you haven’t tried it!

My family has been getting Albert’s pizza for a long time. Their pizza is just simply DELICIOUS. It’s not your average pizza we’re talking about here. It is like the grandma’s pizza but better. square, and the sauce is on top of the cheese. It is pretty much the best pizza ever. I never get tired of that pie.

The prices seem pretty good and the pizza is A-OK, not amazing but good none the less. I prefer a few other pizza places in the area over this one, but Albert’s is always pretty good.

Albert’s is literally THE best pizza around. It’s addicting. There is something so unique about the sauce; this pizza is seasoned to perfection! I would say that you should give it a try if you are in the area, but the truth is that you should MAKETHETRIP to try it… You won’t be disappointed!!! 5 stars

I drive from mid-Nassau county to this place to pick up the occasional pie. The sauce, crust and cheese are amazing. This is TRULY the best pizza on Long Island. Note that it is basically take out only as the place is a hole in the wall. Make sure you order a square pie!

The best square pie! Delivery is super slow so I would suggest picking up your order. I was told half and hour for my pie and it took over an hour. For some reason not many pizza places deliver around here so it’s disappointing when one of the few that do take forever. Wings can be a bit greasy but their fried raviolis are awesome.

Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww. Took one bite went right in the garbage. Side note, as we were waiting for the slices to heat up, the guys behind the counter were calling customers scumbags because they didnt tip enough on a delivery order. And by the way that was in no way shape or form pizza.

I recently moved to Lindenhurst and was told by one of my coworkers that the«Alberts special» was amazing! It’s a square pizza and I was not impressed. It tasted like Pizza Hut pizza. Also there were a bunch of kids behind the counter who seemed like they were jugs fooling around. Would not try again or recommend.

Stopped in the other day based on Unilocal reviews and I was not disappointed. They do make their squares just like L&B’s from Brooklyn with the sauce on top. The crust is crisp, sauce sweet with a slight kick and a sprinkle of Romano on top is fantastic. Albert’s is finally a pizzeria I can call my own after moving from Brooklyn and searching high and low for pizza that is more than a thick gooey mess. The reason I only gave it 4 stars has nothing to do with the square. I also tried the regular slice and the crust was nice and thin, but there was a mound of cheese on top that weighed it down and was a little too salty for me. Also, I had garlic knots and they were just ok. They were heavy and didn’t have a ton of flavor. I also ordered the baked ziti and it was good. It was a nice size and had good flavor and I did like it came with half loaf of Italian bread and even a small side salad. Like I said the square alone is enough to come here and I’m sure in time I will find some other gems on the menu also.

Albert’s! I love this place. The prices are fair the staff is forever friendly and fresh pies are always popping out of the oven. I must say this is the best pizza in Copiague possibly Long Island maybe even the state of New York. Whenever I am in New York I make it my mission to make my way over to Albert’s at least once. The square pie is just great, my absolute favorite. It’s not your typical Sicilian slice it is much thinner with an amazing crust and if you love sauce this is definitely your kind of slice, no toppings needed. Their method of cheese first, sauce last makes a world of difference. They have a wide selection of toppings, a variety of different pies, killer sandwiches and also offer various pasta dishes. So if you do make it over to Albert’s please do not leave without trying the original Square Slice, it just wouldn’t be right. And Tracy I think you are referring to L&B Spumoni Gardens of Brooklyn. They do indeed have a very similar slice which is also very delicious.

This is a strange pie… that is nothing like you expect. It looks like Grandma’s but in fact its a bit edgier. Square pie with crispy sicilian style crust. but crispier, lighter… cheese is hidden under a tangy red sauce with romano sprinkled lightly on top. Is it good? It is. and it’s addictive. It is a 50+ yr Pizza place and has fans. People don’t say lets order Pizza, when thinking of this Place. because its different… They say. Lets order Alberts. And no one ever says no! Worth the trip to know just what«Alberts» is. btw… after all these years… while visting my brother the other day. I saw what lookied similar… and he said what he had was brought in from some name.(an older place) in Brooklyn. I will look into it. but it may have been the original idea spawned long ago! Who knows. This was once a very Italian town back in Alberts early days. so a step away from Brooklyn is quite likely. ** update already… a Unilocaler told me it was L & G since 1930 — Those were the initials! amazing what a small world. so this is similar style but saucier than L & G of Brooklyn

I got nostalgic for Albert’s pizza which used to have a location in my town, Farmingdale, on Merrrits Road. It’s former locale is now home to «Lenny’s Pizza Time», which has been«hit or miss», in my humble opinion! On to Albert’s. They are known for making their pies with the sauce on top, cheese underneath. The sauce is tart and tangy, the pizza chewy with just the right amount of crunch. You can order pizza the traditional way as well. I’m a fan of their square pies. Beware, before you know it, you will have inhaled 4 of those slices. They are smaller and thinner than a traditional Sicilian slice. The only thing they have in common with Sicilian style is the square shape. They are thin and not doughy. I have only tried the round and square varieties. The menu offers a vast array of toppings and choices of pie. If you are a fan of a saucy pizza, Albert’s is something different and yummy. It is not your average pizza. I’m happy to report that my trip to Copiague for the Albert’s pizza that I remember from its former home in Farmingdale did not dissapoint!!!
