Tanner Beach Hut

This Beach Hut is very unorganized and understaffed for the amount of orders that they receive. We waited to order for 10 minutes, but we waited 45 minutes for them to call our names for the food. There were a lot of people waiting, they didn’t seem to keep orders together while they were waiting for the cooks to finish. They also didn’t seem to make the orders in order. They were constantly having to check their orders as people complained about people who ordered after them receiving their orders first. If you didn’t say anything to them, you probably wouldn’t get your food until a long time. The food was pretty good, not worth the wait though.
We got two orders of baked clams, they were flavorful and satisfied my appetite. One order of a cheeseburger, fries came separate. I heard the burger was good and the fries were nothing too special. an order of the grilled salmon over a salad. The salmon was delicious (when is salmon not delicious?), just a little too spicy for me.
The line for beer was long, but not as long as the food line. We finished our beers wayyy before we got our food.

I love this summer spot. They make a mean drink, you definitely get your money’s worth of Alcohol. The food is also pretty good. I usually opt for something off the special menu but instead I went for the simple cheeseburger. Good choice once again. It was a thick patty, crispy on the outside but juicy inside. A live band was playing & we were on the water. I had the Rum Punch, a perfect ending to a long work week. Plus I got to hang with my favorite fellas, my dad & Uncle who need their own reality show. They make any outing a great time.

It gets busy and a bit crowded but they play live music and have drinks and amazing seafood right on the beach. It’s absolutely beautiful and has a mixed crowd of people, which is nice.
The food and drinks are made fresh right in front of you. My favorite is the stuffed clams, they are as good as fine dining, if not better.
