Mooyah Burgers And Fries

The burgers are ordinary. It does give you more options for the type of burger you want, but the taste and service are subpar. The prices are also a bit expensive for what you’re getting. Would I recommend it for the price? Probably not, but I know some people really like the options this place has and some people think it’s amazing.

I forgot to show them my checkin code for a buy one free burger. The cashier said that it was too late, that he couldn’t refund my transaction and basically re-​ring it up so I could use my coupon. I asked him what they do when they make a mistake and someone wants their money back. He said that would be different. So ridiculous. Also, their were two other employees just standing next to the employee taking my order. How many employees does it take to take one order. So strange. They were standing less than an inch apart, just standing there.
Anyway, I got the turkey burger, it was good but it wasn’t a ground turkey burger like I prefer. The wheat burger bun is really good though. The food is good but the service here was sub par.

I really like this place. For a number of months, we were regularly eating at Smashburger. We decided to try Mooyah. Mooyah is definitely less expensive than Smashburger, and I think just as good, if not better.
At every visit, the counter folks have been polite and helpful. The ingredients are fresh, and there is a nice variety of options. I always choose the wheat bun, and it’s great. I’ve never had an order delivered incorrectly.
I like the fries — fresh, and plenty of them. The sweet potato fries are really tasty as well.
The atmosphere is «diner-​like» — casual and comfortable.

The shakes are a bit small — but good quality.
I hope Mooyah is at home in Coppell for many years to come!

We went here last week, since my husband was in a rare mood for burgers. This visit was a good example of doing what’s expected, well. We knew we’d get burgers and fries, and this time they hit a home run. The burgers were fresh and delicious, they got the toppings right, and had good choices. The fries were also fresh and hot, and we ordered a LOT of them. It didn’t take too long for the food to cook, and the restaurant was clean and quiet while we ate.
I did take off a star for the expense. For burgers and fries, this runs a bit pricey for a no-​frills chain. I would have liked to order a shake, but it was too expensive. Still, next time the burger craving hits, we’ll probably go back.

I usually enjoy a burger from this franchise and they are usually great. But for some reason this time it was really salty in the middle with an uncooked patch. I’m not sure what happened. But my fries and milkshake were really good.

I really enjoy burgers and fries here. They have a lot of options for any kinds of burgers. Everything is so fantastic and fresh tasting. The sweet potatoes have a good flavor. I could say they are my favorite now. The portions and price are perfect and I always leave there satisfied.
This location is pretty clean. Service is good. I haven’t tried their shakes yet, I will another time though!

Mooyah place is great, good burgers, French fries. I went with my family. I see most of customers are kids around 8 – 13 years old who is around us. I will surely go with my kids. Friendly place. Nice coppell neighborhood, I just moved to Dallas looking for best place to eat dinner with families. Looks like this is one of the place.

This franchise has definitely gone up in price. Total bill came close to $ 30 for two burgers, med fries and two extremely small milkshakes. NOT WORTH IT FOR THESE BURGERS.
I have a bone to pick with the size and cost of the milkshake… it was like the size of a pint size water bottle for $ 3:50! The straw was twice the length of the cup! Again, not worth it for the quality and taste. You are better off going to Wendy’s for a frosty that is the same size and about $ 1.
Burger was dry, ingredients were greasy. They also ran out of cheddar and pickles. Excuse me? Since when did a place that specializes in burgers run out of those things?!
I also waited a good 20 mins to get my order placed and another 15 mins for the food to come out. There was only one family ahead of me so… yeah, pick up the pace. Never coming back again.

Very tasty turkey burgers that can be loaded with toppings & sauces, I love these. Salty & real potato fries that are addicting. A small fry can be shared by two reasonable people. I really like the shakes, but they are on the rather small size. Service is mostly good, it has more to do with other customers knowing how to properly order so things move efficiently. It’s not hard, but gets annoying when standing behind someone who doesn’t know what they want. Soda fountain, tea & lemonade station. I recommend this over all the fast and fast-​casual burger joints in the area.

My favorite to order is the veggie on wheat with crunchy onions, bbq sauce, sautéed mushrooms and avocado. I really appreciate that they cook the veggies and veggie patties on a different grill than the meat patties. You can also get the veggie patty on a salad with real greens. It’s tasty but it’s just too much food for me. I’ve never been able to finish the salad. My son loves eating here even more than Chipotle or Jimmy John. Partly because of the moodle board, and the milkshakes, but mainly for the cheeseburger. He doesn’t mess around with the kiddie size here. He will eat the whole grown up size burger happily without any nagging.

Delicious!!! These burgers are really special. The buns are so buttery and flakey that they almost taste like a croissant. The Mooyah special sauce is reminiscent of In N Out’s amazing secret sauce. The employees are also very nice. They made a meatless version of the Mooyah burger for me because I wasn’t in the mood for the black bean veggie burger. My «burger» was very good and they were very sweet about catering to my special order. We’ll be back soon!!!

Way better than expected and for a very affordable price. Fresh meat, great multigrain bun, good selection, great fries and a lot of them for a «small» portion. And all this plus drink and double burger for just 13 $? I’ll be coming back!

Experienced Mooyah for the first time with my family this afternoon. Upon walking in I was quite pleased with the fun, vibrant interior design. I ordered their all-​natural turkey burger on a wheat bun and added avocado and sauteed mushrooms among your usual burger toppings. I selected spicy mayo from their sauce options (after some debate!). It did not disappoint. The turkey burger was juicy and very flavorful!
My family had their all-​beef burgers and were not disappointed either! The buns were so fresh and the burgers were so flavorful, they really could tell that the quality of food was there. Their french fries are very natural tasting, just the way we like our fries. I went ahead and tried their sweet potato fries, and aside from being slightly heavy on the pepper, they were a delight as well.
I didn’t have the stomach room to tolerate one of their delicious sounding real ice cream shakes, but next time I’m in the area I won’t be able to pass the opportunity up. The atmosphere has a very chill, cool vibe. I can’t agree with other reviews about a 1^st timer having difficulty ordering from here… perhaps the menu layout was different then. Not too long of a wait for the food either. I mean, it’s fresh, but it didn’t take forever.
To summarize, Mooyah is the bomb. I’ll be back for more.

I don’t eat beef too often so here I have only tried the turkey burger and grilled cheese and both are sensational! I love their fries too, greasy and delicious! If you want to be bad then get the fries from here, because they are on point. I love the mooyah sauce too!

This place is a bit pricey, and the service is somewhat slow. But, for a burger joint, the food is fresh, and tastes good.

Came to this establishment in May:
Pros: Fresh ingredients, fries are good and plentiful, staff was friendly, and the restaurant concept is different.
Cons: Kind of complicated (especially for 1^st timers) when ordering your burger, all the burger meats are well done (overly dry patties), pricey, service is kind of slow, and this location was infested with flies at the time (not sure if thats still the case).
If I want some mooyah burgers again, I’ll probably try it at another location.

Fun spot for a good burger. Ask about their secret menu. BBQ sauce with A1. Bit on the pricy side but it was fresh.

Nicely decorated and setup place, but the food was not that great.
The fries were certainly nothing special — Wing Stop fries totally blow them away. The shake was pedestrian.
My daughter’s burger fell apart after 3 bites and she got frustrated and did not finish it.
The one good thing was that my burger, with added bacon and grilled jalapenos on wheat, was a decent burger. I’d eat it again in a pinch, but we won’t choose Mooyah again.

I came here with a friend to get some lunch before we head off to a friends’ graduation. It looked clean, the people are the register were… at least a little kind. Not great customer service (didn’t even crack a smile) but did their job. However, as my friends went to refill her drink, this girl who was making the burgers (I believe her name in Jennifer) made fun of my friend. She mocked her because she was wearing heels and a dress and I assume she didn’t know that I could see her. I was disgusted with this and I told my friend we should say something but she did not want to make a scene. The food was okay, not really great, but just okay.
Overall: I MIGHT be back if someone drags me in, but I will avoid if possible. I work in customer service so it’s extremely important to me that myself and everyone around me are treated with respect. Get it together Mooyah.
