I love to Have my walk with my dogs every morning … And Have a nice coffee as reward . Unfortunately this is the second time that the coffee thermo bottle is empty and that we Have to wait for it 20 minutes . It will be so simple to Have 2 coffee thermo bottle, to always Have one ready for people . Little details that explain my 3* review . Other thank this, i still enjoy going every morning.

I stumbled upon this place on my way home. So on a Sunday I decided to take the family for breakfast. We ordered 2 omelets and 2 waffles with coffee and a muffin with a chocolate and white milk for the kids. Coffee was excellent but when we received our order of omelets they were cold. Our muffin came after our food. Kids milk was never brought out. Waffles were really late. Place is cute but the service needs work. I think the place is good for a quick ice cream, coffee and pastry and get out.

Really cute family friendly place in Coral Gables just off the golf course. So far I loooove the chicken on wheat panini and their coffee. Also their freshly squeezed orange juice is pretty good. Haven’t tried the gelato or desserts but they look ok. The only thing is the service is kind of slow, even when it is not packed.

The food was ok and same with the prices but I would not go back. They take forever to serve you the food and any other order. How can an omelet take 1h? the place wasn’t even packed. When they finally brought the food they didn’t even provide silverware. I had to go ask for a fork and knife at the register. The manager of this place needs to train people better so they can provide a more efficient service.

How did I just find this place? I was riding my bicycle around the golf course on Sunday afternoon and noticed some people in work out clothes going in to the Liberty Café. All this time I thought this place was only for the members of the county club. I had their tuna on a whole wheat wrap. I asked to substitute the romaine for arugula greens and they said it would not be a problem. It was fresh and very tasty! Danny had a prosciutto sandwich on focaccia bread that was very tasty as well. We couldn’t leave without trying their gelato… The Oreo gelato… Yum! It was just we needed to have a little sweetness at the end of our lunch. The only negative about this place was the wait time for them to bring the food to us… but I understand my wrap was made fresh to order.

Healthy food, reasonable prices, good service and close to home. Specials often. One of our regular hangouts.

This place is in a nice location with great views of Coral Gables golf course. The restaurant itself is very nice and clean. You order and pay at the register, then are provided with a number to set on the table. They then serve you your meal when it’s ready. I visited for breakfast. Had a croissant sandwich which was good but nothing out of this world. Also had an iced caramel latte which I thoroughly enjoyed. I’d say the nicest looking item on the breakfast menu was the Belgian waffle with berries. It was ok. I’m sure it wasn’t so, but by the way it looked and tasted, it seemed that the waffle was microwaved. A bit soggy for my taste. IMO a great waffle should have a slight crispiness, right? Anyway that wasn’t the real problem, because the food didn’t taste awful. The problem was that I had ordered an Orange juice and never received it. After the same gentleman who took my order(Andy) came to bring my wife’s dish, I reminded him that I hadn’t received my OJ. He said«ok I’ll get it now». After 20min I finished my meal and never received my OJ. Before leaving, I walked past the register and reminded him that he never brought me my drink and that I had already finished my meal. He at that moment tried to give me my OJ, I refused and demanded a refund for it. Someone else took care of handling the refund. Breakfast overall was ok, not a memorable meal. Not sure if I’ll make it out again. At least not for breakfast. Maybe I’ll give lunch a try, but not anytime soon.

Came here for breakfast on Saturday morning. This caffe is right across the Granada golf course. Location is beautiful and plenty of seating. You place your order at the counter and get a number for your food and drinks to be brought to your table. Ok as far as breakfast is concern you won’t go wrong with their waffles. And coffees(iced, espresso, and machiato) and fresh squeeze orange juice were also good. However that was not the case with their breakfast sandwich and scrambled eggs… there’s something that doesn’t take right. Not sure if they used some type of synthetic eggs but this really limits the breakfast options. service was attentive and friendly.

Food is great their pizza with arugula and prosciutto is delicious although I do have a suggestion try to go whenever the manager is not present as his attitude overshadows any delicious flavor from their food

My friend and I frequent Liberty Café and enjoy their breakfast, lunch, and coffee. They offer quality food and excellent, consistent service. My experience is the same every time I dine here, nothing but great service and great food. Thank you Liberty Café for offering excellent quality food and friendly service!

Found this sweet spot through Unilocal a couple years ago and now it is our go-to brunch café. I have been here many times, overall the price and quality is pretty unbeatable for Coral Gables. Their waffles come with a ton of fresh fruit served on top, the bacon/egg/cheese croissant is always on point, salmon/cream cheese bagel is tasty, and their coffee is great. Oh and their gelato is ½ off on Tuesdays, its really great. So many places serve gelato nowadays, but the gelato here is truly good and rivals a couple of my Miami favorites in quality. I had the omelet once and it was very dry so I would say avoid. If you want good service here don’t come when they are swamped during their busy times and the weekday staff seems to be a bit more asleep at the wheel than their weekend staff. If you’re having a lazy morning and would like a nice breakfast or lunch at a place that has great views of the Granada Golf course and surrounding neighborhood this is the place to come to. Leave your watch behind and just settle into some good conversation or a book. Definitely a hidden gem in an area where most trendy restaurants cost 3X as much.

What a sweet surprise in the Gables! The country club is so pleasant to be in. And it’s even nicer to be able to spend time in there eating. I come back here mainly for the ambiance. The food didn’t blow me away.

Nice place to go bike riding to if you live in the area and stop and eat one of their tasty gelatos-the dulce de leche one is to die for !!! However I don’t like the coffee here-it seems like it’s american coffee and I prefer going to Latin America nearby and getting the real thing! Food is always a bit overpriced but understandable for the location.

Nice breakfast spot with fair price, actually thinking about their food, service and golf view, the price is down to nothing. As me and my girl walked in, we got drowned in the bakery smell that was so good. You have to try their ham & cheese cossiant. That’s definitely the best I ever had. Roasted just right ;) One thing be careful, their large coffee late would be large as a soup. Lol.

Cute place. Every time I go walking by the golf course I feel like stopping by here but I’m always too sweaty. Well, yesterday I went in. I ordered a large iced latte and a prosciutto wrap. They took a little long to bring out my order and there weren’t that many people there. My latte was a regular size. I guess I expected Dunkin donuts«large». I know that prosciutto is normally a little salty but this wrap was saltyyyy! I couldn’t eat the other half. I saved it for my Mom. Let her deal with the saltiness. And I love salty food but this was too much for me. It had brie cheese and Arugula inside too. Total for these 2 items was almost $ 14. Kinda pricey. I won’t order that again. They have pastas too. Prices for pasta are $ 9 and $ 10, not bad but I haven’t seen the portions though. I want to try their gelato next time. No more salty wraps for me!

Love this place! Cute, quaint, in a quiet and secluded area of the Gables. Picturesque views of the golf course. Relatively inexpensive. Good place to catch a World Cup game.

We were looking for a place in the neighborhood to have breakfast, and decided to stop in for some eggs. Very casual vibe, but I think we might become regulars. We both had omelets with home fries, we left satisfied. This isn’t a table service kind of place, you order at the counter and they bring it to your table. I was really happy that they had almond milk for my iced coffee, not many places like this have dairy or soy milk alternatives, so just based on this alone I would come back for my weekend iced coffee. The patrons were all locals or members of the gym, which we are considering joining. Great little place in the heart of the Gables for quick casual breakfast or ice cream in the Coral Gables Country Club.

If I was strictly speaking food, this place would be a three stars. If I was strictly speaking service, it may be a two stars. But truly, this place is awesome, and it deserves a four star rating. Following are the reasons why. First of all, it is desolate. It is the perfect place to pull out your laptop and work on whatever you need to do. As a matter of fact, this review is being written at Liberty Caffe. They have an awesome playlist, an awesome view, and it is very accommodating. Plus, the facilities are top notch, everything is new or has been remodeled. And the café offers free Wi-Fi. Second, the food here is pretty good. That may not be good enough to drag you in, but this place is Texas in Miami. Every portion is overstuffed and good enough for two people. Prices are a joke, everything is dirt cheap. I’ve tried some of their pasta dishes and they are decent, as in I could eat here again. The sandwiches are also pretty good, as well as the pastries. Also, this is the only place this side of the Gables that serves gelato. And again, dirt cheap. Third, they serve an awesome cup of espresso. Being an Italian inspired eatery, they get very good coffee. But, and here is where the two star rating is inserted, the baristas don’t have great attention to detail. My espresso cup had coffee grains in it. My last sip made me choke. It is anecdotal, to say the least, but it is my first time in decades of drinking espresso that this has ever happened. Still, the coffee is really good, although a little on the careless side. Can we blame Panther Coffee for this? Lastly, it is the amenities that round up the greatness of Liberty Caffe. Parking is free, I think the only place in Coral Gables where you are not asked for a contribution at the parking meters. And, there are newspapers available at your convenience. This is one of the few places where you can read the Wall Street Journal for free. Not even the county offers that at their libraries. This is heaven. There, four stars earned, maybe not solely on food and service, but certainly for being a gem-like find. I love this little oasis in the middle of Coral Gables.
