This is a true hidden gem. Off the beaten path in a quiet side street of the gables you will find this wonderful culinary expression of fresh, homemade organic delight. Part«southern comfort» and part«health nut»(which happens to be two dishes on the menu!) this mélange of creativity and healthy fresh eating will not disappoint. My buddy and I are harsh critics and this place passes the test. We have eaten here four times now for brunch and have been consistently wowed. The owners have a passion for good food and it shows in the quality. I recommend the«Southern Comfort,» or the«Health Nut.» I usually also like to get a side of the sweet potato hash, it’s pretty frieking amazing. They also have homemade Gelato but I think it would be a shame to only get the dessert and not discover their great menu.

Tomato bisque was excellent! I had the #9 and it was excellent; also you must try the sweet potato hash; dessert was fabulous I paired a brownie with zabaglione gelato and wow!!! amazing!!! I am updating my review to add the southern comfort breakfast, eggs Benedict on top of green fry tomatoes, Apple wood bacon and sweet potato hash, absolutely mind blowing delicious!

My cousin and I were visiting from out of state and stopped by Amore for brunch on a Saturday. Coral Gables is an architecturally beautiful area and the café is centrally located. Food — we ordered the healthy nut entrée(poached eggs, sweet potato hash, over a bed of kale) and the quiche Lorraine with butternut squash soup. The food was spectacular! Perfectly poached eggs on a bed of well seasoned kale and sweet potato hash. The butternut squash soup was also dairy-free yet super creamy. Service was excellent and we learned that the owners were trained in Los Angeles then moved to Italy to learn the art of gelato. Their gelato is a must-try! I had the salted caramel and orange gelato — all organic ingredients too! Definitely coming back next time I’m in Miami!

This charming café just started serving brunch on Sat and Sun. I had the«Southern Comfort», one of the house specialties conjured up by the gourmand half of the friendly owners, Gail. It consisted of 2 poached eggs with remoulade sauce on smoked applewood bacon, fried green tomatoes, spinach and a stunning sweet potato hash. It was as delicious as it was unusual. While waiting for my meal, I had the opportunity to check out the photos on the wall taken by the other half of the owner duo, Robert, who is a professional photographer. Robert has also assembled a charming gallery of photos of celebrities eating ice cream, from Bogart to the Pope. Be sure to leave room for the gelato, all made on the premises by Robert with the freshest ingredients. In fact the gelato alone is worth a trip to this unique eatery. The food and service were excellent, the ambience is smart and stylish and the owners are on the premises, friendly and working hard to ensure you have a wonderful visit.

Valentine’s brunch was wonderful. One of the best omelets I have had in a long time as was the chocolate lava cake and bellinis and the red rose they presented all the ladies with was a nice treat. Staff And owner are all very friendly. Such a pleasure. Highly recommend and we look forward to returning.

If you are any sort of fan of Gelato and really who isn’t…I can say hands down this is the best gelato I have ever had. The flavors are subtle and at times exotic in the ways they flow together. I really can’t say enough. I had a moment to speak to Robert the owner and he was explaining to me the process. which was quite more complicated than I had thought having made my own ice-cream over the years. My wife and I also had lunch and we found the artistic environment to be personable and inspiring. Definitely not your everyday café… totally worth a visit!

I LOVE this place. I order food from them all the time and I’ve never been disappointed. Their gelato is incredible, especially the pumpkin one. I’m in love with their cheesecake brownies, and their soups are amazing. The staff is always friendly, the food is always good. It’s my go to place for lunch.

Wonderful food and gelato to die for. Must try! The owners, Robert and Gail, are warm and welcoming. All food is prepared daily in-house. Zack’s bread is a perfect complement for delicious and creative sandwiches. The gelato is made from organic ingredients on site. All gelato is light on sugar or other sweeteners so the actual flavors shine through. Like me, I expect you too will become a regular. Molto bene!

This great new spot opened recently offering a delicious variety of gelatos homemade by the owners who traveled Europe looking for the best way to make them. What I also loved is that the owner is the photographer of all the pictures on the wall. I had the gianduja gelato which is like nutella and enjoyed every bite. The German owner was super nice and let us taste all of them before choosing. I will definitely be walking be now that I have a close café like this to have some lunch and a sweet treat.

Knowing that this tasty café is only minutes from where I’m working will be very, very dangerous. This new offering just steps from Ponce de Leon Boulevard is an undiscovered gem! Robert Klemm and his wife opened the café just a short time ago, and have traveled throughout Italy and Europe learning how to make their own gelato from scratch! The gelato made with organic ingredients, and is positively delicious! Two friends and I tried almost every single flavor, and each was outstanding. In particular, the gianduja was delicious, along with the sea salt caramel and the no-added-sugar raspberry. There are gluten-free, sugar-free, and other dietary-specific options. Robert is also the photographer in the«art» part of the café, and his photographs of his travels are terrific. They have a café lunch menu with homemade soups, along with lots of other tasty treats. Take a turn for the better off of the main drag, and check out this terrific new spot!
