We were seated by the owner who is very amicable and helpful. I ordered a delishhh egg omelette with mushrooms. Service was efficient. Waiting time acceptable, the ambiance warm and comfy. They have a wonderful window display that gives personality to the location.

Threefold Café is a pleasant time with decent food, but I did not find it quite as amazing as everyone else seems to. The location is great and the ambiance is very quaint. It has a yard house style with pallet tables, Mason jars and milk canisters. The service was decent, the servers were nice enough but didn’t seem like they wanted to be there. The food was good, but not out of this world. I had the The Legend, the Lamb and while it was tasty, it wasn’t legendary.

Attempted to eat here three times and there was always a line out the door for a table. Unfortunately I have no patience and it was my mistake in trying to come on a Saturday or Sunday. Obviously the word was out this place was delish and a long wait was worth it. Having a midweek day free we decided to give it another shot. My flat white coffee was made to perfection and even snapchat worthy pretty. I ordered the smashed avo with poached egg and a side of Miami smokers bacon. It was all on top of a huge slice of ZTB bread. It was such a large portion I boxed my leftovers and it still looked like a whole meal! Prices are average to most Miami restaurants and the staff friendly.(I brought my baby and he fell asleep. Our server brought over a body pillow for him so he could nap comfortably in his high chair lol). My only negative comment is that they are lacking in floor space. Bc of their popularity they had to cram as many tables and chairs as possible which left little room between your other fellow diners(sorry to the guy I hit with the diaper bag-oops). It’s the only reason I didn’t give it a full 5 stars. Though you can also say they are trying to keep the wait shorter by seating as many ppl as possible and take it as a plus. Either way, It still won’t stop me from going back again and yes I’d even wait during a weekend day this time :)

Feeling in the mood to get some Belgian Waffles, and living so close to Threefold Café, I decided to pay them a visit. When I got there I was pleased to see the western/country/raw look. It is different, specially for the Gables where everything is Old World, Euro looking or stuffy. But I dig the vibe, it is young, unpretentious, casual, etc. That is why there are many young people, as well as young families, versus the cursed man who is old but has the money. Anyway, the seating is a bit weird, I guess it’s part of the look. The food was pretty good, it is not a home run, but it is pretty good. Since I was craving Belgian Waffles I got the Waffle On, which is regular waffles with a fruit compote on top. So, the plate is massive, and I thought the compote was fine, but the waffles had a flavor that is addictive. That would be my favorite thing to eat there. I also got the Pope Benedict, unfortunately they were out of the other vegetarian options, and I took out the ham(maybe). The eggs were cooked well, yet the other stuff was OK. I also found the salad to be overly acidic, but whatever, it was a nice switch/counterbalance, although I sometimes think that they push the envelope a bit too far… My partner liked his food. The coffee was good too. I may go back. Why not? Oh, yes…

Amazing service led by Sophia who made sure our first visit was impressive. Dina orders the waffle and she loved them. The menu has a lot of fresh and creative items and I look forward to coming back soon and exploring them. Outside seating is available and the coffee bar has some amazing cold brewed options.

This is a relatively new café that has a ton of potential. I went here for brunch with a few friends. I would definitely describe this place as hipster and trendy. Their menus were coffee-stained on clipboards, their drink choices and a collection of inspiring quotes were written on the wall, there was an abundance of mason jars, the chairs were metal painted in funky colors, and there is an espresso bar towards the front of the café. The food ordered was: Mango Juice: Excellent! Most of the time when you order mango juice at a restaurant, it tastes like it came straight from a can. This did not and it was worth the $ 3.50. I would definitely order again and would recommend trying their other drinks too. My friends had the peppermint tea and cold brew coffee and both said they enjoyed them. Emperor Nasi Goreng: I was a little skeptical because I grew up in Southeast Asia where this dish originated, but I was pleasantly surprised. It had good flavor and did remind me a bit of home. I did ask for it without the jalapeños though, as they’re typically not used in this dish and I felt the flavor would have been off with them. My only complaint with this dish is the amount of cilantro on top. The leaves were still on all the stalks and there was enough that it would probably cost $ 1.99 for the bunch at Whole Foods. My friends ordered the Waffle On and the Hash Tag This, and both were overall happy with their dishes. My friend just thought the waffles could use more vanilla mascarpone. Although this place has great food with a creative menu(I’m coming after you next time, vegemite dishes) and amazing ambiance, the service was awful. It took around 30 minutes to get our food. Our waitress was not very attentive, and would come over and ask if we needed more ice, even though our glasses were already filled to the brim with ice. She also tried to upsell a ton of items to us. She tried to convince my friend to order the organic maple bourbon syrup with her waffles for an extra $ 1 or $ 2. Even after our food was taken away, we had to wait 10 minutes for her to bring us the check, and that was only after we asked. So I’ll come back because I’m excited to try more from their menu, but probably in 6 months when it’s a little more organized.

I’m so glad I FINALLY tried this place! The entrees taste just as good as they look in all the pictures posted by fellow Unilocalers. We arrived around 12:45PM on a Sunday afternoon and the place was packed. Fortunately, since we were a party of two the wait was short. There were several large parties seated and waiting to sit. They serve breakfast all day on the weekends so no need to rush out of bed. Since it was Sunday and there is no need to be dieting or watching what you eat during the weekend, particularly when you come eat at a place with delicious entrees, we settled on the staple restaurant items — the smashed avo, not so French toast and the warm, melt in your mouth monkey bread. Everything was delicious! I even put a little of the smashed avo on my not so French toast, which was spectacular. The menu has so many unique items that I will most certainly be returning to try new dishes and order repeats. You can tell the restaurant’s staff takes pride in their food and appreciates quality. Kudos to Threefold for getting it right!

Threefold would have gotten 5 stars from me if I didn’t feel like our waitress was a car salesman. All of the food and coffee was delicious, but the blatant attempt at upsells was kind of embarrassing. I expect suggestions at a local restaurant, even welcome them, as I want to know what their signature dishes are. However, our waitress seemed to judge all our selections and tried to force us into things we didn’t want. Their coffee they brew on site was good, but took forever. I think it took 20 minutes to get one pitcher of it. I wouldn’t necessarily come back here, but I did enjoy the food once it arrived. If you have a large group, make sure to get in early on Sundays. It filled up by 11:30am.

Love the ambiance, the plating and the presentation. I pick most of my restaurants/cafes on Unilocal based on reviews, but also mainly the photos I see. If the food looks good, I’ll most likely bookmark it and see about getting a table. That’s just what I did this morning. I took a group of 8 people who are used to diner food for breakfast(bacon, eggs, toast, hash browns) so I wasn’t expecting them to be super excited about the place, but I was hoping the food blow them away. Well, the first disappointment was when I ordered a coffee and the waiter forgot. I realize we had a big party but regardless, as a waiter, that was his responsibility. The waiter asked me if I wanted a poached egg on top of my food and I said yes. When I got my food, there was no egg(I had the corn fritters). Just another cherry on top of the bad service. I had the corn fritters and the actual flavor of the food was pretty bland. Everyone’s food was just alright, nothing special. My friend had the muesli oatmeal which she said had an excess of liquid. The waffles, the big aussie, and the veggie omelet were all pretty decent. The coffee, however, was fantastic. My party ordered two cappuccinos and two cold brews. The cappuccinos were awesome. If I’m in the area I possibly might stop by again to give it another chance, but I wasn’t very impressed this time.

Solid breakfast spot folks. I know i use the term solid, often, but it is appropriate when we really enjoy the experience. The atmosphere: Loud and fun. Most tables are for individual parties and there was one table for a larger party or sharing. We spent breakfast with two different parties. No intrusion on your conversation and we couldn’t hear their convo at all. This place is not a quiet intimate brunch spot. As i stated on my check in, they have a little spot with books and some kiddie toys for little ones. Which is nice even if u have to wait 10 mins for your table. The Eats: So, they sell all kinds of espresso and latte drinks but lack regular joe. They custom craft two kinds. One is fruity and light, which i tried for a change of my normal dark and hearty(I am Italian and love espresso). I would say, not bad but not something I would do again. It was an enjoyable mini pot of coffee. We all shared the banana bread with espresso butter and syrup. Really good and somewhat light. You will understand if you go for it. My wife went for the Aussie breakfast. For any size person, this is a big one. My wife shared hers with the table including the slab of bacon they give you. Yes, I said Slab and meant Slab. Omelettes were good and made as presented in the menu. Very light and not greasy!!! Great place! Enjoy!!!

Loved the ambiance and decorating of this place! Went at about 11:00 am on a Sunday and there was already a wait for a table(about 20 minutes, no biggie). The service was quick and the food, delicious. We started with a chai tea latte and cappucino, which were both presented beautifully. Everything on the brunch menu seemed unique. We had a hard time limiting our choices! We ended up starting with the monkey bread(must must try), the pop benedict which was a fun twist on a classic(hashbrown bottoms instead of english muffin) and the corn fritters. We will definitely be back to try the rest of the selection!

I adore this little charming neighborhood joint! The atmosphere is cozy yet vibrant. Threefold has brought a very different element to this neighborhood and definitely has set their standards high as far as quality of food, cleanliness, and staff. As far as that I’m aware, everything is fresh, local, and delicious! The service is friendly and attentive, very clean and well kept establishment. It’s also pretty affordable considering the ingredients are very high quality. I had the avocado toast and haven’t tried anything new yet because I’m so in love with it! Definately, a re-occurring customer! Important tip: this place fills up fast and stays pretty busy throughout the day.

Just finished a delicious brunch at Threefold and can’t wait to go back and try everything else. Laid back, casual vibe with tons of breakfast options served all day. I had the smashed avo(avocado, lime, basil, mushroom and feta on Zak the Baker bread) and loved it. Filling enough for a meal and almost felt cleansing after not being very healthy(and slightly hungover) this weekend. I only wish the poached eggs weren’t extra($ 2 each). My husband had the rice bowl with shrimp and chicken and we both kept eating each other’s food. So good. Super friendly service with a kind and attentive waiter. They serve jars of cold water as soon as you sit down and always make sure it’s replenished. Seems welcoming and accommodating to any crowd. There was someone eating alone at the window bar, two big parties of 8 or more, several babies, children. I’d say it’s perfect for any occasion. The only thing I’d change are the prices on some menu items. So looking forward to the next meal here.

A cute little restaurant in Coral Gables. The food was very good and our waiter, German, was excellent! They serve Panter Coffee so my husband was very happy! We ordered the Not So French Toast, the fried rice and a monkey bread to go. The french toast and the fried rice were both delicious but I prefered the french toast and we probably would not order the rice again. My husband thought it was too mushy, even though it was delicious. He’s picky about his rice.

I had time for a lunch in Miami and turned to my best friend, a local, for where to go. She sent me a couple options but Threefold appealed to me because of their locally sourced produce, casual atmosphere and health conscious menu. Their avocado toast with a poached egg and mushrooms had me at hello! Called the«Smashed AVO,» it’s smashed avocado with feta, lime, basil, butter and thyme roasted mushrooms on a thick slice of bread and I added the poached egg. The feta really adds a great kick while the mushrooms are rich and savory. This is the perfect breakfast or lunch and is filling without being heavy. This adorable café is great for a business lunch and yet, is also very family friendly. My best friend brought her 9 month old baby, and they accommodated with a highchair and there is even a small play area for children. Lunch menu is not huge but they do serve breakfast all day. Quinoa salad was a bit boring and could have used an added kick of flavoring — cheese or avocado or protein. It was bland as it was. If anything, they could use a few more salad options. They have a solid drink menu. The Lemon Ginger Echinacea juice was refreshing and felt good going down. Great, healthy option in the Gables.

I am so happy I finally came here! I came for Sunday brunch and the wait to get seated was only 15 – 20 minutes, which isn’t bad. I had of course the Smashed Avo and it was amazing! It was the perfect amount of food to have. There’s a cute little area for kids which is something you really don’t see in a restaurant. I will love to come here for lunch to see how the food is like. This is a place I will come frequently.

We loved this place and we did before we knew it was owned by Australians. There were a few hints though, like the big Aussie breakfast, flat white, Melbourne bfast tea and vegemite on the menu! There’s a very cute little herb garden at the front of the shop and all the furnishings look great, very clean and tidy. Very Melbourne. There’s a kids area at the back wit some toys and things. We start looking at the walls and all of the paintings are from Australia, although you wouldn’t know it unless you’d been to those areas — Melbourne is obvious but Mungo national park, the great sand dunes and the Murray-darling, they must be Victorians! Anyway, my husband got a double shot flat white and said the was the best coffee he’s had it America. We had to wait a while for it though, I was almost finished my pot of T2 lemongrass and ginger tea by the time it came. He got the pope Benedict and I got the corn fritters, both delicious meals! We also got a side of vegemite and 1 piece of toast which only cost us $ 1. I had a little vegemite with the corn fritters too, pretty darn good! It came to about $ 50 which I know most people say is expensive but after growing up in Australia and living in Denver, $ 50 for what we had was totally worth it. If I come back to Miami it’ll be for this place. It made me homesick but I loved it.

5 Star! Located in Miracle Miles, a little hard to spot since they don’t have a sign outside. Came here for Saturday lunch, we ordered two most popular items on the menu — Smashed Avo and Not So French Toast — and I’m glad we made the right choice. Smashed Avo is probably one of the best avocado dish I’ve ever had. Mixed with feta, lime and basil, butter & thyme roasted mushrooms over Zak the Baker bread(baguette). We added 1 soft poached egg. Soft on the top, hard on the bottom, Mixed interesting flavor and it’s simply amazing. «Not So French Toast»… how should I describe this. Out of this world! Well I hesitated a little bit to get this since I’m not a big fan of prosciutto, but it turned out awesome. Rich in ricotta, the toast is deliciously fried to golden perfection. Drinks: Earl grey tea — wonderful delightful aroma. Cappuccino — the only thing I would not recommend. I prefer coffee that’s less sour. Service: friendly and attentive. Price: okay for the food items. Parking: street parking not too difficult to find in the vicinity. Verdict: Great spot for brunch/afternoon tea. Everything on the menu looks interesting. Would come back to discover more.

Small cute, stylish café, with good breakfast and brunch items. Avocado lovers rejoice the Avo Smash toast is amazing you have the choice to add eggs for 2 $ each which we abilaged to do. The not so french toast was juicy, and flavorful. Drinks the Earl Grey Tea came with good presentation and tasted good. The cappuccino coffee was a little sour for our tastes but the presentation was good. Only cons are the price and the seating arrangement can be a bit cramped.

What a great, DIFFERENT, little place! I have been hearing wonders about this place for a while now, and I can see why! Visited for the first time this past weekend, and was immediately in love… The décor is just so inviting and down to earth! Also, imagine my excitement to see they have a dedicated play area for the restless toddler age group(read: my kid). It’s hard to get a 2 year old to sit through an entire meal. The folks at Threefold Café are geniuses to section off a small part of their restaurant to let the kids have some wiggle room while those of us who are addicted to food can fully savor the delicious things available here. I ordered the corn fritters, which were LOADED with avocado and sat atop a glorious bed of greens. If you want a ton of vegetables while still feeling indulgent, order these asap! My 2 year old ate 80% of her waffles. If you’re not a parent, you should know that this is a raving success. I ate the other 20% and could easily have the rest of them.(The ONE time I want my kid to leave her food, she wants to finish it. Well played, toddler). Anyway, the waffles tasted like dessert and would have gone beautifully with a cup of coffee. Which brings me to the only(slightly) negative thing I have to say. A couple of us at the table ordered coffee to go with the cookies we ordered for dessert. They brought out the cookies and STILL hadn’t brought our coffee out as we were finishing the cookies… ended up having to cancel our coffee orders, they took so long. Judging by the character of this place, however, I’m sure it was an isolated incident. I will be absolutely be trying this place out again.
