While this isn’t a large green it’s still a park in Coral Gables which I am very thankful to have. Its large enough for a good game of ultimate frisbee, and I have seen plenty of dog walkers venture through here. Art installations appear several times a year as well as the annual taste of the Gables cook-off, although this is a pricey affair. There is a paved loop which you can walk around and around if you need to increase steps on your Fitbit without worrying about looking up for traffic. In case you are in need of refreshments, only steps away are several restaurants and the Regions Bank building, directly across the street, houses a good Café.

calling this a park is a bit of a stretch but I’m still a fan ’cause of the events that are held here periodically These events usually consist of a live band playing in front of One Guy that dances with a varying style of percussion instruments, some real and some of the«air» variety and a bunch of other patrons looking at this One Guy dance while listening to the music from some of Miami’s best local bands(I should review this One Guy) The reason I call this«park» a stretch is because there is no playground, basketball courts, baseball field, jungle gym, bathrooms, etc. It’s pretty much just a patch of grass, a path around it that’s crowned by a small fountain, some benches and that’s it Now that I think about it, it really is just a large calming circle on Ponce de Leon Drive
