Ordered honey garlic wings and a 16 inch pizza. Got the wings, but we got this small, what we think is a wheat pizza. Either they don’t know what a large pizza is, or I got someone else’s order. Either way someone made a mistake.

Not my favorite. You must like really sweet tomato sauce to enjoy their dishes. I don’t think I would ever go back. But I’m sure many people like it.

Amazing! The staff is amazing, the food is amazing, their new concept of incorporating Southern style food with live entertainment is amazing. We needed some fun in Parkland! THANKYOU for thinking outside the box and bringing this hidden gem to us.

The pizza here is amazing but the kid(owners son) is a piece of work. At least I think he is the one who answered our phone call a week or so ago and would not let us order to eat in. He then hung up on us. We will NEVER eat there again. Jerk. No excuse for treating good paying customers that way. But no more. We will no go to Anthony’s just a bit further away.

Love this place, great pizza and amazing salad, unfortunately the owners have decided to take all of their hard work and good will built up over the years and throw it all out the window, they are changing their name to some rooster thing, adding additional items to the menu and taking the best pizza away, not sure if the salad stays or goes. Big mistake, never change your name if you have a good thing going and a loyal following, you can always add items to the menu to change the vibe, and taking your bread and butter(pizza) off the menu and only allowing for pizza take out is just stupid, if you are still offering it but only to your take out customers why not keep it on the menu as well? Doesn’t take a brain surgeon to figure out that revenue is revenue and if you offer it to one group it should be offered to sit down dinners as well. They had a great thing going, so there is more competition, so compete add more to the menu and add incentives to come back but don’t change everything after years of great service, dinning and experience. Note it should receive 5 stars but only giving 2 because of their plans.

We were stopping in quickly and didn’t have much time and a very nice young man by the name of Danny greeted us. We told him we were in a hurry and wanted martinis and a quick delicious appetizer. He then proceeded to make us 2 awesome dirty martinis and suggested the meatball and ricotta appetizer. He delivered! Everything was great. We were very pleased and I will visit this place again when I’m in the area. Thank you Danny!

The«big slice» with pepperoni is great. It’s basically two slices in one and just enough for dinner. The caesar salad, whitey pizza, and eggplant tower are also awesome, but the wings are the best I’ve ever had. I love this place. :)

I took 4 kids for a first-ever visit to Scarfone’s Friday at about 6 pm. A host told us to sit wherever we wanted and we chose a not so clean booth table, pulling an extra chair over for our toddler. As soon as we’d settled in, a guy in the open kitchen told the host to tell us to move to a bigger table. OK. He could have cut out the middle man and just yelled at us instead since we heard what he said. There were plenty of tables available, which seemed odd on a Friday night. We moved and found the larger table not cleaned very well either. Our waiter came over to get drink orders. We also ordered a couple appetizers — meatballs with sauce(very good) and garlic parmesan fries(not good with a strange greasy flavor). For the full order, our waiter was distracted while we were telling what we wanted, admitting as much. He apologized and said another worker wasn’t doing his job, then he yelled at him to get busy. We ordered a pizza(pepperoni, sausage and mushroom, but he didn’t hear«mushrooms»), a chicken dish and plain spaghetti, but got penne instead. When I pointed out the problem to the host, he went to the kitchen and quickly brought out a plate of what he described as cold spaghetti and asked if we wanted a fresh, warm plate. Uh, yep. The food was good, but the place was a complete disaster service-wise. I can’t imagine what a wreck it must be on a busy night. Probably won’t be back to find out.

I love this place and am surprised it’s not busier. They have the best salad dressing I have ever had. I sometimes crave the Scarfone salad — even though they are about 25 minutes away, I will drive to pick it up. Try this place out — you won’t be disappointed.

the fried calamari was very disgusting, look like a freeze box of calamari, very greasy and unhealthy, when I get home i put it in the trash can. also the pizza is like a shoes sole. I will not recomend this place to any body, it couldn’t be worse.

We were really pleased with this gem for multiple reasons… first of all it’s locally owned and not a chain which is always a bonus! The décor was a bit cosmopolitan but comfortable and inviting. Our service was attentive and friendly but not overly boastful. We truly enjoyed the wine selection and the very crispy and delicately fried calamari, the calzone was huge and delicious! The pizzas looked great, although we didn’t try any this time around. The location is fantastic– just one minute off of the sawgrass and walkable from the local marriott as well. They don’t offer a happy any longer although we did read online earlier that they had one. Regardless there is a nice somewhat separated bar area and dining counter for those who just want a beverage or prefer to dine alone.

One of the best real Itslian restaurants that we’ve had the pleasure to visit. The pizza crust is excellent, the sauce is fresh. We also tried the pasta aka vodka. Amazing The food tastes just as if we made it at home. While this is a mutual-branch company, this is NOT a franchise. The Scarfone family obviously take pride in their work. It’s so refreshing to come across businesses such as this. Gives me great hope for the continued success of entrepreneurial America. Well done. We will be back every time we drive from a Southwest Florida. FYI — the owners son was gracious, intelligent and demonstrates an incredible instinct about how to handle clients. These guys are winners! Cheers

Scarfone’s has delicious pizza. I love it. It is in the style of Anthony’s coal fired pizza. Not a bad restaurant to be like. I can see Diane and I becoming regulars at Scarfone’s. Very comfortable chairs. Very clean place. I’m hungry just thinking about the restaurant. Let’s go out for a pizza pie as my father-in-law used to say.

I thoroughly enjoyed my first meal here. The coal fire pizza was delicious. The ingredients seemed super fresh and the sauce on top was scrumptious. It was a perfect amount of cheese and sauce ratio. The only disappointing part is you can’t pick two signature pizzas to split if you are your partner do not like the same things(I don’t eat meat). So we had to split a pizza we designed, but had to pay for four toppings, even if I only got 1 on my side and he got 4. I would still recommend this place just go with someone who eats what you eat :)

Ducked in as a volunteer for a re-election fundraiser for Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel and was I glad I did, here’s why: * Angie the proprietor was gentile, courteous, friendly and the consummate hostess! * Danny the son of elder Danny the chef were both welcoming as well. * Big, delish, honking Tuna Sashimi Tray ROCKED! See photo. * Cool Décor * Lots of Exterior seating * Liberal pour cocktails from the FULLBAR! * Fresh ingredients * Mainly coal fired pizza which I didn’t try. Good stuff, visit here or Wilton Manors. Cabeza OUT!

Love the food at their location in Wilton Manors, so we decided to give the Coral Springs location a try last night. We got there at 8:30 and the place was empty. No customers, no staff. We walked around, called out, nobody answered, so we left. Went to another coal fired pizza place in a neighboring plaza and it was very busy and the food was great. Wonder why no one was at Scarfone’s?

We where here today mid afternoon and had a a great experience here today. When you walk in you realize your not just in an any run of the mill pizza joint. First thing you notice is the upbeat club style music and secondly the modern look of the whole place. Since it was the slow time of the day we were greeted by the manager Danny who also served us. He is very friendly and made sure we were happy through out our visit there. Now time for the good stuff we ordered the«Farmer’s Market» pizza which is the veggie pizza and had them add eggplant, It was fantastic I can honestly say it was the best veggie pizza I have had the crust was nice and crisp at other places when you order the veggie pizza it gets soggy from all the moisture from the vegetables but that’s not the case here. It was perfectly done with the freshest ingredients that worked great together it even smelled great. I will be going back soon to try some of their other items but I say without a doubt the veggie pizza will always be first on my list here.

I can hardly type this review. This food is AWESOME! We were going to go to the location in Wilton Manors but when I found out the original was in Coral Springs, we jumped on this! The interior is very trendy and even though the hard surfaces tend to make it loud, it fit’s with the trendy and hipster vibe they’re pulling. We only ordered two dinners but they were both incredible!!! I had the Sunday Gravy and my partner had the Chicken Scarfone. We both tried each others and thought each were very, very good. The red sauce in the Gravy dish is to die and the meatball served in it looks like a space capsule! If there was any critical point to make it would be to recommend that the Chicken Scarfone be served with one piece of toasted garlic bread like the Sunday Gravy does. That would really close the circle. We also had two desserts and that was one too many! They were both magnificent! My partner had the carrot cake and I ordered the zeppoli. Unlike what you find on Mulberry Street in New York, this was an entire PLATE of zeppoli’s! It was easily enough for 4 people! Our server was the owners’ son, Danny Scarfone, and he couldn’t have been nicer or more accommodating to us. Very friendly and very attentive!

Coming from NY, I keep trying these coal fired pizza restaurants here in South Florida only to be disappointed. This time, I was very impressed! First off, the place is really inviting and tastefully decorated. They have tables that are booths on one side and chairs on the other. The booth side was more like a sofa, with pillows. I imagine this comes in handy for those with small kids — they can just get comfortable if they’re cranky! Seriously, very comfortable. They also have a large bar area — I assume it’s a full bar, although I only had wine. The host who seated us, I believe, was the owner. He told us to look at the menu and if there was anything we wanted that we didn’t see, we should let him know and he would do our best to get it for us. We then looked at the menu. They have a list of amazing appetizers, pizzas, pastas, coal fired wings and main courses. The kids shared a pizza which was crisp and delicious. They also had wings which were in a sweet and spicy sauce with pineapple — fabulous. I saw an appetizer which was Italian sausage with vinegar peppers in tomato sauce. I asked if they’d put that over pasta and make it a meal — no problem(I think they charged $ 7 to make it a meal with the pasta). Hubby had chicken parm sandwich — it was a LITTLE dry as the cutlets were extremely thin so they got a bit over cooked, but it was good. We took home dessert — cupcakes for the kids. Really enjoy this place and will become a regular for sure!
