Wings Plus

Been eating here for years and it is consistently good. Love the sweet chili wings and sweet potato fries. Good service and all-​around great local place. If you’re not in the mood for wings tried your Philly cheesesteak.

Seat yourself works fine when your wait staff pays attention. When they don’t, your customers wait 10 minutes, never get menus or even meet their waiter and then leave. Do better.

Wings Plus is a small little restaurant with many tv’s for you to watch while eating. It is pretty dark and gloomy in the dining area. You seat yourself when you walk in. The service was not great. They were not very attentive (and it was super slow when we are here). The curly fries were served in a huge portion. If you order cheese fries, they just give you a bowl of cheese on the side. The wings were mediocre. I had the medium-​hot boneless wings. Some of them were way too big and not super impressive. Overall it was an okay experience.

I love, love, LOVE this place. I’ve been coming here since I was a kid, with my parents. Now, I bring my kids and my parents. We are Friday night regulars. We love Tammy!!! She’s always busting her butt and still super sweet.
This is where I first tried raspberry wings. We have a lot of memories here and we’ve never had bad food, but we always get potato tips, the Gorgonzola salad and wings so I can’t say I’ve tried it all.
I should have posted a review before, but better late than never.

This was my first visit to a Wings Plus EVAR, not the best impression.
I don’t eat wings, and since this is their specialty, this review may be unhelpful for some, but here I go:
Service was awful. Our waitress was stern to the point of rudeness, I was scared to ask for anything, just by the looks she was throwing off. Don’t know if she was having a bad day, or it was just her charming personality. Either way, I didn’t care for it. We ordered our drinks first, then our food, refills never came, or were offered, and I was a bit hesitant to ask, I felt I was being a bother. Plus there was a very obnoxious large party sitting behind us (no fault of the restaurant and didn’t affect my review) so I didn’t want to spend more time than necessary.
Food wise, I got a cheeseburger and fries, it was ok, nothing out of this world. The fries are curly and very thin, so they got cold fast. I guess if you are in to watch a sport event with some friends, eating wings and drinking beer, this place may be lots of fun. To me, it’s just a place with bad service and mediocre food. I won’t be back unless others in my party are just dying to and I can’t change their minds.

We have been to this location several times over the years, but lately, we have been saying that it will be our last. We live just down the street, so we recently decided to try it again and go for a couple of drinks and then order wings to go. The girl at the front desk was very sweet, but Elise at the bar was not even nice. We ordered drinks and asked if one of the TVs could show the race, she refused and said that everyone there watches only football. We felt that since only one couple was in the dinning room, it would have been easy to switch the channel in there, but no luck, she just walked away.
She could have sold us more drinks, but instead, she made us feel like outsiders who didn’t belong there. What a turn off! Oh well, it wasn’t the first time. In the interim, the wings that we ordered were suppose to be grilled. We only saw grill marks on two of the twenty five wings. They almost looked old. We have loved them in the past, but this time, I could have done a better job at home. Never ordering those again, EVER. No wonder your dinning room was empty during game time!
It’s bad enough that you charge $ 1 per wing with tax, but then it’s extra for celery and dressing. We decided that next time, we will just go down the street to the Ale house where everyone is a lot more accommodating. We are not cheap, we don’t mind paying for great wings, but we are just tired of the groupie mentality and the nickle and dime policy. Small, old, dry and over cooked wings will never sit well with us, the love is gone.

Haven’t been to wings plus in many years tonight we’re celebrating the life of my classmate Daniel John the entire Coral Springs and Fort Lauderdale BSO police departments were in full force and will be all joining us for some food and some drinks. Since I kind of miss dinner because the viewing was from 5 until 8 p.m. now is a great opportunity to have one of my most favorite dishes. a Philly cheese steak hoagie and I wanted to try their soft pretzels with cheese… and a stella. Kind of wanted to avoid any spicy food spicy food and friends don’t mix lol. The cheese steak is awesome. Ashley ran her butt off for all of us and she did a FANTASTIC job. that girl is a great waitress! There had to be a close to 150 of us in our own private area and some even spilled over into the restaurant part. The hot wing… well, you could small how hot they were when they were laid down on the table. My hoagie roll was soft and the meat what chopped nicely and the cheese (white) was really delicious. Its hard to find a good cheese steak in my opinion and if you want one Wings Plus is the place to go. It may not be the first place you think of for cheese steaks but take my word you wont be disappointed. I will be back. Ask for ashley if you go she is tops!!! and the beers are ice cold… thats my kinda place.

I find the wings crispy, spicy, and good quality-​and I went to school in Buffalo.
All of the servers r great but Noreen is a cut above. She always makes the experience that much better.
Standard bar fare, great wings and good TV… what more could u ask for.
It’s the little things that count… plenty of wing bowls, lots of napkins and wetnaps, and your glass is never empty.

Great friendly staff with an at home feel. It’s not on the menu but try the key west style wings! Great lunch specials

I was always skeptical of trying another wings plus after the one on sample gave me a stomach ache (because the food was too heavy and greasy, not because of food poisoning) but I came here with my family the other day for an early Mother’s Day dinner. I ordered honey garlic boneless wings. The price of their boneless wings are the same as bone-​in and for the same amount of pieces, which is a nice change. The order came with blue cheese or ranch and celery. I had to ask for a few more blue cheese because the cups were tiny. I’m a sauce kind of girl. The wings were delicious. Perfect amount of sauce, perfectly fried.
My boyfriend got his usual Philly and it came out pretty good too, and I stole some of his really delicious steak fries. I really wish my wings came with fries too. My mother in law got flat wings and she loved them too.
I came again another time after this for boneless medium wings. Also really delicious and perfectly spicy.
The only thing that I can really complain about here is the service. It can be pretty slow, but they’re always friendly.
Looking forward to getting more wings from here soon. And those burgers they advertise look pretty good too.

Hot wings are my favorite food and they have the best wings I’ve had in awhile. The fries are cute homestyle cut curly fries which tasted really good. My daughter enjoys the kids menu as well. All in all would recommend for their wings. Haven’t had much else on the menu though.

I wish that the wings weren’t quite as oily as they are but the lemon pepper wings I had were very good otherwise.

We had a to go order. Very good wings and fries. Server did forget our extra ranch dressing that we paid for which I think is ridiculous to charge for such a small item. Also the computers were down and so service suffered a bit because of that. The food is tasty though :-)

Great wings! I order their hot wings with parmesan and garlic. They were amazingly delicious. The blue cheese on the side was just ok, and they definitely do not give you enough. I absolutely loved the sweet potato fries! They aren’t stingy with the sweet potato fry portions like most restaurants are.

Just for helping then make room for a big party that needed my table I received a free beer! I only came for take out, and I ended up with a free beer. This place still has that American/​family vibe that most places have lost! I love this place! BTW: their wings are amazing!!!

Honestly, I was somewhat disappointed. Mediocre service and mediocre wings. I got the Cajun wings, which I normally love. It tasted like they made regular buffalo wings and put some store bought seasonings on it. I didn’t even want to finish.

Came here for a quick bite after a workout at the rock climbing gym. It wasn’t what I really wanted, but I was exhausted and didn’t care because I was already in the neighborhood. The ratings seemed decent. So, I decided to come here. I wanted to sit outside, but they do not have outside seating available. It’s chilly inside. Plus, you tend to smell after you’ve had a hard workout. If you don’t smell and aren’t coated with sweat after working out, then you didn’t workout hard enough. If you are sitting outside, nobody will notice.
After sitting down, the server came to take the order, but I wasn’t ready, so she said she would come back in a few minutes. After about 10 minutes, she returned to the table, took the order and walked away again.
Now, I ordered the boneless, aka chicken tenders, with garlic and parmesan. When she placed them on the table, they were regular wings — which looked pretty good. However, after climbing, your hands feel gross. You can wash them a few times and they still feel disgusting. I don’t like using my hands to eat with after climbing. I absolutely must use utensils. I reminded her that they were supposed to be boneless and she took them back.
They fixed the order. She brought them back and placed them in front of me. It had minced garlic and parmesan on them. She gave me hot sauce on the side. I tried to enjoy them, but the combination was unsatisfactory. Not only that, when I was ordering, I questioned her about the possible combinations with the garlic and parmesan. She wasn’t any help at all. If you work in a restaurant, you should get to know the food you’re serving. Knowing the best combinations and sampling the food yourself — so you know what you are talking about! — is the best way to win over new customers. How else will you be able to recommend anything you are serving?
As soon as she gave me a blank stare after my questions, I realize that I should have known better. That was my big clue to order something simple. I have eaten in many wing establishments and should have followed my instinct and ordered something easy.
While eating, she came back a couple of times. After eating, it took about 10 minutes before she brought the check. After the check was delivered, she ran off and didn’t come back to the table for it. If you have to walk up to the front station to pay your bill because your server is not paying attention at all, then maybe they don’t really want your business after all. I will note that they were closing around this time, but you would think your server would want to get you out the door quickly so they could finish and leave too. Apparently, not in this case!
I didn’t check out the bathrooms. It’s dark and the floor was littered. In my opinion, it was kind of dingy. There were televisions on and music playing. There wasn’t anything special that stuck out about this place. I think I’ll pass when I’m in the area again and try somewhere else.
