It’s a nice place with good, fresh Japanese food and hibachi. The price is good and you can also enjoy their desserts.

Excellent variety of Sushi as long as you come at the right time. If you go before they close for lunch at 3, then you pretty much are left with whatever is sitting there and nothing is added from that point until dinner I was told by my waitress. So definitely don’t go unless you will be able to be sat before 1:30−2pm. I was shocked when they informed me hot tea was not included. Soda is also $ 3 so make sure you really want soda before you order it, lol. The staff smiled as they walked by and good at taking the dirty/empty plates away in a reasonable time. My children LOVED the dessert selection. I think they would have been happy to sit there all day and just eat mini cakes :-) The lunch price is not bad for an adult though I do think the child price is slightly high considering kids don’t eat that much, or at least my children don’t. Give it a try!

Best buffet of the area, at least that’s what I think about this place. The sushi is really good and the Chinese food taste good, unfortunately I didn’t tried the Hibachi. The desserts are pretty basic, ice cream and little pieces of cake. All you can eat for $ 25 plus tips.

GOODREVIEW: I like dinner over here than lunch. The atmosphere and service is better at night time. The sushi is the bomb here and really fresh to me. Their hibachi is good over here too. Too bad this location doesn’t really give out coupons. BAD Review time: One time during lunch time, I accidentally spilled water on me, the service saw and just took the empty plate that’s front of me away. She didn’t give me napkins or ask me if I was okay! How rude! I noticed the whole lunch time, she and the other server kept looking at me, and my two sisters. There are other full tables next to us but they weren’t looking at them. I noticed they kept looking at us, icing us glares, and laughed a little bit. They didn’t come by much to pick up plates. We had a lot stacking up but yet she pick up that one empty plate when I spilled water on myself. How rude. I felt they were rude and disappointed at Shinju’s lunch service. Out of all the times I have been here, this is the first time this happen to me. The two server ladies were not helpful at all.

The buffet was average. It’s a good place for lunch and the price is pretty goood. They have a hibachi station as well as hot food and sushi stations. The service was very good.

I can not exclaim how much I love Shinju! If you’re looking for unlimited sushi, sashimi, hibachi, hotfoods, crab legs and other seafoods, look no further! Shinju is the spot for you! For a little more than $ 20 for dinner, you can have it all! Every time I go here, I leave with a full stomach, satisfied with what I ate. The sashimi is always fresh(salmon is my choice). They have a large selection of rolls. Their hot food is mostly American-Chinese food. Hibachi is Teriyaki-style with whatever you want in it. ANDTHECRABLEGS. I love snowcrab, so to fulfill my craving I always go to Shinju. They are in the buffet on ice, but you can request them steamed for no additional charge. Service is great here, always attentive. Overall, a great place to be, but can be very packed at peak dinner times.

Two words — pace yourself. Ordinarily, I’m not a big fan of all you can buffets. Mostly the food is average or below and everything is just kept warm all night. This is different. Round 1 — We started our meal with sushi. It was incredibly fresh and came in so many varieties that you couldn’t sample them all. I love sushi, but have a problem with the regular places because by the time you’ve ordered two or three good rolls, you’ve already spent $ 30. Here, you can try a couple of dozen different rolls. They go so quickly that the trays are being filled with fresh rolls on an ongoing basis. On the other side of the sushi bar was fresh oysters and crab. I don’t like oysters and didn’t feel much like crab, so I skipped those. My husband tried the crab and said it was better than average. Round 2 — We were on to the hot bar, which was mostly Chinese. I tried some sesame chicken, teriyaki beef, fried dumplings, lo mein, BBQ rib and coconut shrimp. The lo mein was a little disappointing as it had very little flavor and the rib didn’t have a lot of meat. The chicken and beef were better than most places. The fried dumplings had maintained their hot, crisp exterior and the filling was great. The shrimp had a yummy coconut sauce and was very good. Round 3 — Time to try the hibachi offerings. I went for the hibachi steak with mushrooms, onions and garlic butter. The chef was very nice and chatted about our holiday while he expertly tossed the ingredients on the hot teppan. I have wanted a teppan for so many years, but I doubt that it will ever happen, this is such a great way to cook. The steak was perfectly cooked and seasoned. I added some tasty fried rice to balance the protein. While you might expect a small serving, this was the same size as we’ve always had as a full entrée at other restaurants. Gee… I’m getting stuffed. Round 4 — Dessert. Okay, the Asians need to work on desserts and music. This is where the place falls short. There were a few choices of standard small pastries, ice cream and a couple of other things. Being well fed by then, I opted to try just a scoop of red bean ice cream. The texture wasn’t great, more of an ice milk texture and the flavor was strictly vanilla. But by then, it really didn’t matter. I just finished my plum wine, which is pretty much a dessert in itself. The servers were all very nice and empty plates were whisked away within a moment of them being finished. I don’t know what the bill looked like, as this dinner was a treat from my visiting MIL. I’m guessing it was sizeable, but if I’d had that dinner in any regular restaurant in town, it would have been at least $ 75, and I’m sure it didn’t come close to that. We’ve been to several of the Asian buffets in town, and this is by far the best. I hope we don’t have to wait another two years before we can go back. :)

Woah! This place is really nice. Walking in I thought to myself, are we at the right place? are you sure this is a buffet? it was indeed! very clean very neat, with a lot of tables. we chose a booth and got one right near the buffet line. which was perfect lol. I ordered hot tea and my husband got his usual soda. Refills were on point. We didn’t have to ask for anything. We got both knife/forks and chopsticks. Our server was great. she gave us a little preview of where everything was and in matter of seconds we were up getting our food. the sushi bar is amazing. i had so many favorites that i barely got to try the hot food serving opposite the sushi counter. Everything was so neat and cleaned. i loved the plates and the serving dishes. this place really adds their own personal touch by doing this. This felt like a real dinner experience rather than just going to fill up at the buffet. My husband devoured the crab legs though and i happily ate spicy rolls after spicy rolls. i was tempted to try the oysters for the first time, but i didn’t want to risk not liking it and ruining my appetite. The prices were great for the kind of food and service you’re getting here. i also love that you can order drinks by the bottle. this weekend were hoping to come again and try some lychee sake. Oh and i read on their menu, if its your birthday you eat free(as long as your provide proof) awesome lol Overall, like i said before, really clean and neat restaurant, friendly staff, and tasty food! im so glad we live nearby this will definitely be our new regular. great job!

If you drive over an hour away to enjoy a Japanese buffet, one must think there is something special, and sure enough, there is with this location of Shinju in Coral Springs. We have been here many times before, however our latest visit was special in that we were celebrating my sister’s and fiancé’s engagement. We were so excited this would be the venue and they did not let us down. The service is fantastic, the facility is clean and pristene and the quality AND quantity of food items — even during lunch — was fantastic. You could go to a lot of different places for Sushi and Hibachi and other great tastes, but Shinju is a notch above the rest.

The food is great for a buffet. I don’t eat sushi but I still felt like I had plenty of other options. The service was quick and good also(I came around lunch time).

Great food. Great wait staff. I love when they sing the HBD song. And everyone in the restaurant sings along. Very fun and great sushi.

Is it weird that I go to Shinju alone? It’s not that I have no friends or anything like that and it’s not like I eat an embarrassingly large amount of food, but Shinju is kind of like, «my place». I could go to a coffee shop, yes, but I’d rather eat endlessly while I collect my thoughts. 1. Make sure to go during the right time of day. This means, early enough so that the food is still fresh and the wait is minimal to none. My biggest fear is eating sushi that has sat out since, well, yesterday… 2. I always ask for a water in addition to my drink– in case my server isn’t, well, a good server. 3. IMHO the best way to do Shinju is two separate plates: sushi versus Chinese. 4. Always save room for ice cream, but skip the fruit and dessert table. The fruit is not good and no one like Chinese desserts. Last but not least– don’t forget to go back for more.

I come here a lot since its walking distance from home. Decent selection of sushi rolls and nice sashimi for dinner. I like the hibachi a lot and the small desserts. The place its clean, snd staff are friendly. It is next to a Publix so the parking lot can get crazy. Its is always crowded so don’t come in a rush.

This is my favorite location of the Shinju buffet franchise. It is mostly clean, the exceptions being the plates which sometimes are still wet with gunk during really busy hours. I prefer to eat at Shinju for lunch only, because the price jump between lunch and dinner(lunch is about $ 12, and dinner doubles in price, plus a little more during weekend nights) does not seem worth it to me(dinner sees the addition of a raw bar, sashimi, and crab legs). Be prepared to wait for a table during weekend nights; I waited over 30 minutes for a table for two at 7 pm. Service is fast, but bare interaction. The waitress will ask for your drink order and clear your table when you finish your plate, but that’s about it. Shinju offers a great variety of sushi rolls, and if you ask for it, you can get hand rolls. Rolls taste fresh and are changed out very often during peak hours. In the back, there are hot soups, hot Asian food staples(tempura, stir-fry, rice and noodles), as well as a cook-to-order teppanyaki. These never really disappoint. The food is prepared in smaller batches, which means it is changed out very often and tastes fresher than foods left out for longer at other buffets. There is also a solid dessert bar, which has many ice creams, mini cake desserts, and fruit to finish out your meal. Shinju is a solid buffet choice, whether you go for lunch or dinner. It is reasonably priced, but during peak times, you may find yourself waiting for a table.

We go here a lot and frequently bring visitors here. Wait time not so bad couple minutes. It’s nicely decorated and clean. Just enough space between tables compared to other buffet places. Price is pretty reasonable for the quality of food here which is good. Though they are not 1000% on their A game like when they first opened, place is still really good. Fresh food. They have a Hibachi station and sushi. I don’t like sushi but my family does and they love it. They have really good choices. I definitely recommend the calamari, fried sweet potatoes, the teriyaki salmon which tastes so good and sweet, the coconut shrimp and salted string beans. I am a huge cheese Rangoon/crab Rangoon fan and their Rangoons used to be crispy and delicious. Now ehh I don’t even get it anymore coz it’s stale. Nothing compares to Pei Wei rangoons in my opinion. For dessert, it’s pretty good. I love the strawberry sauce and bananas, cookies n cream ice cream and red bean ice cream. I hate any kind of beans but the red bean ice cream tastes exactly like Nesquik strawberry shake. little cake stuff tastes fresh to me compared to other buffets that taste very stale. Overall, still pretty good. Will continue to go here and recommend.

This place isn’t bad but it’s just not as good as others in the world of sushi buffet’s. The rice-sushi slices are very small so you tend to fill up on more than you might really want. To me, I thought they were also a bit tasteless. Soup selection is good with four(4) choices. The hot buffet section is just poor and lacks flavor or variety. The pot stickers, which I know are chinese and not japanese, are just terrible. For sushi, they have the same variety as other places in our area but I especially like the raw fish section that is without rice rolls. It’s pretty good and the seaweed salad is one of my favorites. I try to avoid the snow crab clusters because I don’t want to fight the people trying to make their entire meal from them. The desserts are alright but not exceptional. What you’re getting here is volume, not quality, so let that be your guiding principle when you go here.

Gran variedad de sushi para ser un buffet libre. Recomiendo comer y no cenar, xq es más barato. La plancha decente, postres normales, precio bastante aceptable
