I noticed quality is not like it used to be. Is it true that they changed owners? I’m hurt as I did love the food here. I’m going to order tonight and crossing my fingers that it was just a bad time period that they had…

There was a change of ownership /management there not too long ago. The counter people are not nearly as pleasant… and you better check your order to make sure everything is there, or you’ll be making a trip back for sure. The food is acceptable, though not as good as it was under the old régime. We tried the«Yummy Kitchen» further north on 112, but their chicken & cashews made me sick. Whataya gonna do???

Food was pretty good. I got mixed vegetables with tofu and really liked how she asked how I would like the tofu prepared, which was nice. The vegetables were fresh and crisp. I really enjoyed the snow peas, which I’m not normally really impressed with. My partner got chicken wings and pork fried rice, no complaints there. My kid tried the spicy shrimp curry with vegetables. He’s not so fond of vegetables, so he asked for onions instead… Thinking he’d get more shrimp, no such luck, a pile of onions and maybe seven shrimp! However, he did enjoy the curry and seasoning. It’s perfectly located in the plaza with Movieland, so you can conveniently catch a flick and grab a meal. The people we interacted with were friendly and spoke good English. I would stop in again if I was in the area to see a movie.

I am a sweet n sour chicken guy. The combo dish is very generously portioned. And the taste, texture are good. No regrets getting from them so far.

Ordered here for the third time so figured it was time to write a review as I can now judge them fairly. Just like the previous two orders — what a disappointment! Tonight we ordered a bunch of things to share between a few of us: *Shrimp & lobster sauce combo — tails left on shrimp, messy to eat. Two of the 6 shrimp tasted like iodine. Dish wasn’t flavorful, pretty bland all around *Chicken lo mein — tasteless and«where’s the beef(chicken)?» *Boneless ribs — flavorless and no sauce *Pan fried pork dumplings — just ok, I wouldn’t go crazy over them **Delivery guy left the gate open and my dog ALMOST got out. If you have to open the gate to come onto my property why not close it when you leave? Especially after leaving an $ 8 tip on a $ 30 food order — I think that’s pretty generous. **Took over an hour to deliver — I live 5 minutes up the road and they said they’d be here in 25 minutes **Food was cold due to long delivery time Living most of my life in Bayside I guess I’ve been spoiled with the great Americanized Chinese food available in Queens — especially being a stone’s throw from Flushing. The two things I look for in «Chinese food»: That it be garlicky and nicely salted. Since moving to Long Island about 7 years ago I’ve been really disappointed in what passes for great«Chinese food». Even places that people rave about I just don’t think are great. There are one or two places here that I have given high ratings to, but even still they do not compare with that garlicky Chinese food I remember craving that would only be even better reheated the next day as leftovers. It really kills me to leave a low review, but when the food is consistently bad I feel it is warranted.

Very good Chinese food for the location. No one in a 5 mile radius tastes as good. The chicken is very tasty, the steamed dumplings are a must try and their beef sticks have a nice teriyaki flavor. The shrimp toast is a little greasy but that’s why I love it.
