World Gym

Im originally a member of the world gym in bay shore but with the membership you can use the Coram and Setauket location as well. I stop in here once a week because it is near one of my jobs. I have only been here a couple times around 4pm-​5pm but when i am there it is not crowded. The staff is really friendly. The machines seem fairly new and the locker rooms are clean! I would recommend this gym to anyone looking to get in shape. They have a variety of classes and last time i was there i saw a sign for a weight loss forum! They seem to be very engaged with their clients. I wouldn’t give it a 5 star because the cardio room seems a little small but like i said it is never crowded so you can always find a machine to use. Great place!

F.Y.I: Who would’ve thought that a gym would be changing its look for 2012! World Gym recently had their RE-​GRAND OPENING and what an event it was… There were all sorts of vendors there that could help you bring in the new year lookin’ your best!
The venue may not look big from the outside but surprise surprise… this gym has quite to offer. There’s a pool, racquetball courts, group exercise rooms, two floors of equipment, and even a place to bring your kiddies while you get your workout on :) The staff are very friendly and it never seems to get to busy where you have to wait hours for a machine. The best part about this place is there is a physical therapy clinic inside of the gym!!! How awesome is that!
Overall, World Gym is a great place to work out and people are real competitive when it come to racquetball (don’t forget your goggles, safety first). If you need a place to start that new year’s resolution to get fit & healthy… then get off your lil tush and get that «G» time! So Unilocalers let’s get this year started off right and keep those buns lookin’ tight :)
