For casual dining, Jason’s Deli has one of the most varied menus. In addition, there are tons of tasty, healthy options. Couple options together for a variety. The store is clean, ordering is efficient and fast and they give you the table numbers so you’re not standing around the counter waiting for them which seems to be the in-thing at so many places these days. The dining room is spacious and there’s music playing at the perfect volume — not blaring but not so low that you wonder what that lyric was. Right now there’s a great 80’s selection playing which makes my day. There’s a salad bar that you can get a one time trip to or return trips. The variety of options is broad — down to a premise quinoa salad with mangos and a spicy dressing which is new — and tasty! I like the tea options — sweet with cane sugar, sweet, unsweetened and red currant. This isn’t a plain old deli with 8 or so sandwiches. The options are numerous. Lastly, ice cream is provided free. I like that. They could have charged for it but the put the machine with cones or bowls right out there buffet style and the kids really dig making their own cones though they aren’t very good at it. Jason’s is healthy, easy on the wallet and provides a bit of fun for the kids along with sandwich/salad/soup options to satisfy just about anybody. I’m very pleased with my visit and will be back.

Let me start with delivery, hard to find in Cordova. Ice cream… creamy, but vanilla is the only one that works right now and that sucks. Get it fixed already! And I used to love their pizza, but it taste different now. I have eat the ham sandwich, and it is most definitely not the same. Sorry to say this, but three stars, not four, like it would have been.

Don’t bother going here!!! Their manager is jerk. I ordered for delivery and after one hour called back and was told, we do not deliver in your area! Really, you delivered two weeks before and also earlier in the year. Was told they should not have delivered then, we were out of their area. Just live three blocks away!!! Really… If you don’t want my business Pyro’s Pizza does. They are right across the street from you and give friendly service, I’ll wave to you going by.

I’ve been coming to Jason’s Deli since I was a kid. It’s been the place to go for lunch! They have a wonderful baked potato, the kids’ size is huge! They also have an out of this world salad bar with an amazing mousse! The mousse is almost better than the free ice cream. Great kid friendly place

Was in a crunch for a meeting and they were able to pull together an order for me on the fly. Their food is always fresh and the staff are friendly. They have one of the best salad bars too.

The awesome salad bar is full of variety. There’s pasta salad & potato salad in addition to all the greens & veggies to pile on to your heart’s delight. No trip to Jason’s is complete until you’ve had some free ice cream. This a favorite spot.

First off: THEYDELIVER!!! Anyone who lives in Cordova knows that’s pretty hard to find, at least for anything other than pizza. Oh, and you can order online. So I don’t even have to talk to anyone? Yeeees. But okay, there’s more to it than that obviously. The food is great. Whether I eat there or get it delivered, the food’s always hot. I’ve never had my order be wrong or had anything missing. Their sandwiches are huuuuuuge. I can usually get two meals out of a sandwich. Oh, and their soups? I’ve only had the French Onion which is great. It’s also vegetarian, so heads up to anyone who’s veggie or avoids meat. You can’t even tell that there’s no beef in the broth. I’ve heard good things about the chicken pot pie soup too. Their sandwiches… I usually get the roast beef which is great. I’ve also had the ham, also good, know people who’ve ordered other sandwiches too(the New Yorker is sticking out in my mind, I think that’s the name) and only have wonderful things to say about them. They have a huge salad bar too with lots of offerings. And a bonus, free ice cream for anyone who eats there. The service is always great, too. Never had any issues with the service, whether I eat there, get it to go, or have it delivered.

This place is incredible — never been inside, but get their FABULOUS food delivered once a week. Great food and amazing service — very good people. Chicken pot pie soup and the New Yorker are must-haves. The SALADBAR is awesome and they have homemade chocolate mousse to die for. Order online is super convenient; plus you can earn deli dollars! This place is hands-down the best delivery in the city.

Rocky start, but terrific recovery. Telephoned my delivery order from my hotel room. Was put on hold twice, and disconnected the first time. I was about to flick it in, but stuck it out instead. Glad I did! Food arrived earlier than promised, was very tasty, and the delivery person was personable. Made a potentially blah experience something special. Thanks!

I usually get the California club which is decent but I decided to venture out and try something new… Big mistake. I ordered the salmon sandwich. It was so bland and flavorless. I should have known better than to order salmon from a deli like this. Even the special sauce on the sandwich was disgusting. on top of that, the sandwich was almost ten dollars which is not cheap. I was very disappointed. The only thing that was good was the fruit but I can have fruit any time I want.

I really like the salad bar here. The only other thing I get is the muffeletta. The sandwich is fairly decent but not by far the best. My main complaint is the staff. Every store I’ve been in the staff just doesn’t seem to care. Maybe it’s my perception.

We got delivery from this Jason’s Deli on Saturday afternoon. The salads arrived warm and the bottled water was room temperature. Taste-wise, the nutty chicken salad was decent, but not amazing. The balsamic dressing was just okay — maybe a little on the sweet side. The spinach wrap was a disappointment. It was fresh spinach in an un-grilled tortilla, lined with avocado. I don’t know how long before the delivery this was prepared, but the avocado had turned brown already. Suggestions: grill your wraps, use fresh avocado, use more ingredients, don’t be so bland.

Yes, the food is fresh and quite tasty. I had a cup of seafood gumbo and a rueben sandwich and my wife also had the rueben but she had tortilla soup. Both soup were spicy and had a lot of great flavor. The rueben was thick and the sauerkraut blended well with the pastrami. It was like peanut butter and jelly; it was that awesome. The place is clean, cafeteria type of service, the portions were satisfying, and very roomy with lots of table. This place is great for lunch and the selections of the menu is ample. Come and try it, your palate would love you. Even your pocket book.

I love Jason’s Deli! I love it because I am a fan of fresh, healthy food at a reasonable cost, and Jason’s Deli never let’s me down. So, here are my «fabulous finds» about the deli: What makes it unique: The choice of organic items on the menu, whole grain breads and overall healthy options. They have great catering options. You can get boxed lunches and trays. I have used the catering for family gatherings and business lunches. The order is always correct and it is easy to order on-line. They deliver too! For the Cordova area there is a $ 15.00 minimum order requirement with a $ 4.00 delivery fee. For Arlington, Lakeland, Eads and Brunswick there is a $ 20.00 minimum order requirement with a $ 4.00 delivery. My favorite menu choices: The salad bar. I like that you can choose between different types of lettuce and they offer spinach. The cheese is freshly shredded, not the kind you already buy shredded, and they always have fresh hard boiled eggs. The apples are sliced and they offer a nut mixture that is so good in place of the usual croûton. Oh, did I mention the mini muffins– cornbread and wheat. My favorite part along with the wheat crackers and graham crackers. Just a lot of options, you can always get a different salad because of the choices. The soups– They are great on chilly fall and winter days. I like the gumbo and broccoli cheese. I am not a big fan of spicy gumbo and this one has just enough spice for me. My husband likes spicy foods so he always adds Tabasco sauce to his. The bowl portion is huge, but the cup portion is a little smaller than other restaurant cup portions. The kids meals– A lot of them feature organic items. My kids love the spaghetti and meatballs, which is a generous portion and the PB&J. I even love their PB&J. It has just the right amount of gooey yumminess and the bread is always fresh. I know it is not hard to mess up a PB&J, but theirs is extra good. The ice cream– There is a complimentary ice cream machine that features chocolate/vanilla swirl and vanilla ice cream. It has a good consistency and tastes like homemade ice cream, the kind my grandma used to make. You can get it in a bowl or on a cone with chocolate sauce. The atmosphere– It is very casual and the staff is friendly. This location is large and has an open floor plan. Even when it is extra busy it does not feel crowded. It is a counter service deli, but the great staff buses your tables. I’m sure I’ll be back next Sunday for the salad bar. I can’t get enough of it!
