Nice place, great gyro, clean interior, and lunch special was affordable. Apparently, the buffet is only for Wednesday. The lunch for Tuesday is beef gyro and fries, so I asked for that without looking at a menu. They asked me if I wanted my fries spicy, and I said yes please. I have no knowledge of Persian food and have no way of judging it other than whether or not I like it. I’m pretty sure French fries are not authentic Persian cuisine, but they were good. I’m assuming the sweet tea I had is authentic because it was very different. I really did like it. The beef gyro was very flavorful and juicy. The bread was very fresh. I do not know whether they buy the gyro roll or bread, or make it themselves, but it was very tender and flavorful. I liked the spicy fries a lot, but the portion was very small. After my last bite, I was almost full and wanted 4 or 5 more bites. The front of the building somehow gave me a bad first impression. It seemed to look cheap in my opinion. I doubt they are allowed to make serious modifications to their portion of the building, so not much can be done. They have two storefronts with a patio built in front of the west one. The restaurant sign happens to be on the west storefront partially concealed by a pergula. The entrance is on the east door which almost looks like a separate business. With a little effort, I was finally able to overcome this obstacle, but I thought, wow, the sign really needs to be above their entrance instead of a door you can’t enter! When I walked in, it looked so much different than I expected when I walked up. I wondered if I would be able to afford this meal. I guess I’m saying, that in my opinion, if I were passing this place I would not think of it as being a fine dining establishment. I wonder if other people know how nice it is inside or if they think its a cheap place. And finally I see a number of reviews reporting that management can be unwelcoming and unaccomodating with its customers. Too many stories sound alike for there not to be any truth to it. Whatever the case, I did not see anything like they described. The hostess who was dressed in such detail was very accommodating and even hugging her customers. She may have a hot temper though, I don’t know. I enjoyed it, but it didn’t seem worthy of five stars. After all it was only a lunch special. I’ll keep it on my list though.

I went here for the first time for lunch at had a great experience. I had the #30, which is the Hebrew Excellent and it was delicious. The owner even brought out pita and taziki sauce before the meal came out. It was really good. The entrée was also very tasty. The chicken was so tender, I could separate it with my fork. I will be returning again during their buffet lunch on Wednesday to try more yummy food. Thanks for such a great experience!

Great hidden gem in Cordova. I have been there about a dozen times. Consistently wonderful grilled beef, chicken & lamb with Mediterranean flavors you can’t get in other places. Also love the pita, rice & falafel. So many things I still want to try on the menu.

Wow! One of the best gyros ever. I have driven by this place 100s of times but did not eat here until today. Got a Euro Beef Gyro — the pita was super fresh and the beef was cooked to perfection. You get lots of meat on the small gyro — don’t think I could finish the larger one. We will definitely be back.

Horrible experience. The server came up to the door when we walked in and he mumbled something. I had no idea what he said so I asked can we sit anywhere and he said yeah. Wow great start. Went to the table and he mumbled about drinks. We placed the order and asked about rice instead of fries for the special. He said«the special is the special.» I’m assuming that was«no» for the answer. After placing the order, we never saw him again. Someone else brought out the food. The rice had a huge hair in it. It was disgusting. Told another server to get our check so we could leave. The only thing that I could think of as to why the service was so horrible is because of the Support Shelby County Deputy shirt I had on. He acted fine with all the other customers and employees.

Just had lunch at this place for the first time. When I first walked in I noticed how clean the place was. The buffet was set up and also looked very clean. Service was fast. I ordered the Lamb gyro and fries. Everything was hot. The food was good but nothing to brag about. Perhaps I will try something different from the menu next time. Only three stars this visit because I expected more bold flavors. If you like milder greek flavors in your gyro, this one is for you.

Their number 20 plate is the best! I love their Persian food. The staff is also super friendly. Always go back. But a little expensive.

Living in Memphis, there are plenty of other places to get Mediterranean food and from now on, I will go somewhere else. We were seated and then the local deputies came in and the woman hostess, I guess owner tells them she was sorry she gave us «their table. Needless to say, it made us feel awkward. Should we get up? They had a lunch board but it was covered up. I asked if they had any lunch specials and the waiter acted annoyed he had to go uncover the board. I still could only see one thing when there was more on there so we just ordered the gyro lunch plate. The Gyro was rather small compared to other places but it was not expensive. Getting drink refills seemed like a bother to our server and we honestly felt not welcome. It is too bad as I love Gyros and Mediterranean food and its right down the street from me.

I LOVE this place! The owner is such a sweetheart and has served me every time I’ve gone. She really takes care of her customers and is hilarious! We brought our service animal in with us and after getting past the language barrier, she was very kind and even took our dog’s order: «Spicy fries and a hot tea? Coming right up.» The atmosphere is very nice with mood lighting and lovely décor. There’s even a stage and nice leather couches as you walk in, though I’ve never had to wait on them. They have wonderful lunch specials, and buffet on Weds. and Friday. Delicious food with lots of options, vegetarian friendly, and spicy or not!

I have started to dislike this place. I always order the Mexican gyro with pico, avocado and onion. It doesn’t come with lettuce, pickle or banana peppers but unless I tell them DONT put it then they will. I called the owner to voice my concern and upset feelings. Instead of apologizing and/or offering to make up for it, she goes into all these lame excuses. She goes on to tell me that I have to tell them not to put it because they don’t know what customers want because each customer wants something different. Well IFYOUTELLMETHATTHESEITEMSDONTCOMEON then why in the heck do I have to tell you not to put items on it that shouldn’t be. She would barely let me speak, speaking over me. Just a disaster. I love the food but doubt I’ll be eating there again. Guess it’s time to find a new spot. Long story short, customer service sucks. Don’t expect them to own up to their mistakes or apologize.

Best Mediterranean food in Memphis! I always go for the Euro Gyro with Lamb and the hummus as an appetizer. All dishes are made here with fresh ingredients.

Food was good. Very expensive for the serving sizes. Portions were very small. Owner was nice serving staff not so much. I would say if the service and size of the portions got better I would go back. But, I doubt that will happen.

This place is conveniently placed near the Cordova Kroger and behind the Burger King. I was greeted kindly by ta woman and told she would clean the table for me. The buffet seemed nice but could use some more meats on the buffet line. I would say this place is worth trying if you have a urge for decent good can be pricey for a appetizer and entrée but it’s worth it for the most part.

Automatically fell in love with this place. The great customer service starts immediately as soon as you walk in. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The food is authentic Mediterranean cuisine and it is very delicious. They even have a select few American cuisine items that are tasty. The gyros are huge and filled with flavor and meat. I’d recommend coming during happy hour. They serve special plates with your choice of beer to drink. Awesome environment definitely will come again.

This little gem of a restaurant is one you have to visit! The lamb is as tender as you could ask for. All ingredients are super fresh with a wide variety of sandwiches, dinners and fresh-baked baklava. The owners are always present and personally greet everyone as family.

Fun place mainly because of the charming Persian hostess. The food here is good. Today I had the lamb gyro which was great and the tzatziki is very flavorful and compliments the lamb quite well. The hummus was really good as well and it was served with warm pita bread. Good food, great service and all around quality eatery.

You absolutely must come and receive the Kabob international experience. The service here phenomenal. Our waiter was the actual owner and the cook is her husband. This is the true definition of a mom-and-pop place however the food was spectacular. I had the New Zealand lamb over Basmati rice. The lamb was so tender you could cut it with a fork. Everything was seasoned to perfection and there was so much that i took quite a bit home and ate the next day. I highly recommend coming here for an international food tasting experience.
