Pro Nails

I went to Bombay to get my brows done and saw Pro Nails, curious price was right, I had a little time to kill. I got a solid color Shellac polish. Great customer service! I noticed the manicure didn’t last long. I consulted with my niece Navia who is a licensed professional and discovered they did not use a primer before applying the shellac polish. They wanted to use a buffing technique to «make the polish last longer» I said no. Buffing across fingernails makes them ruff and is not healthy. I got a lot of compliments and I’m going back a little more educated. This time I will ask them to use a primer on my nails instead of buffing. I don’t wear fake nails or acrylic. I have natural long hard healthy nails. I would recommend them to others with warning.
I went back and she kicked me out because I was asking questions and wouldnt let her drill polish off. I didn’t mind waiting and soaking my nails. They were slow no other customers. They tried to charge me 10.00 for polish removal when she told me before we began it was 5. 00. In the dead snow of winter I put my fur hat and coat on woke my son and left as she screamed and yelled at me. Havent been back since last winter. Changing my rating from 4 stars to 0.

I went to this nail salon out of convenience because I had just finished getting my eyebrows done at Bombay (they’re great by the way!). NEVER AGAIN!!! My mom and I got shellac. I had french and she just got a solid color. My nails started chipping the next day! I went back and they redid them for free but my nails broke off horribly! (And chipped off again in 2 days) My nails have always been so long and strong and now they look extremely chewed up. I would have gone back again to get them fixed but I don’t want them touching my hands again! Then the ladies had the nerve to get an attitude when I pointed out all the mistakes she kept making! Manicures are really relaxing when you’re not telling the people how to do their job the entire time! My mom got an actual manicure so she got her hands soaked and cuticles removed. They cut her skin, not the cuticles! The skin around her nails has been BURNING for a week and a half now! Never go here… I hope they get closed down soon because no one deserves service or a product this awful.
