My Aloha Paddle and Surf

This is fantastic. I took three paddle board yoga classes this summer at My Aloha and it was great every time. You get up and running quickly and the class is definitely challenging. I would recommend it to anyone, practiced or not.

I would definitely recommend this place! We had a great time and everyone was so friendly. We rented two paddle boards for 2 hours and you couldn’t beat the price! We also brought our dog who loved it! It’s nice that they allow dogs, just make sure to bring a towel for your dog so they don’t scratch up the board. They also have kayak rentals, lessons, tours, and paddle boarding yoga!

Love these guys! Fast, friendly service and the perfect launch spot for an hour or day on the lake. We encountered bad weather halfway through our paddle and they were very accommodating (including helping us off our boards during the rain and thunder)! We will be back!

Seven of us scheduled a private class — most from out of town. My first impression in contacting Aloha was receiving a quick return call from Rob. He was easy going without citing all the rules, dos and dont’s which can take the joy out of it. Rob said «just wear sunscreen and aqua casual». 7 women obsessed over what that means which already indicates we need to lighten up and have fun. Rob, Becca and Mary greeted us with the sun and patience. They were very prepared and zen about our noisy nervousness. They have everything you forget to bring. They have a safe place to store whatever you need too. One of my friends was terrified. After the first 30 minutes Becca led her through yoga paddle boarding effortlessly. Becca is just a doll! She will take as much time as you need to answer questions. She made sure we had plenty of time to do what we wanted and still had time for photo shoots to prove we actually did Dancers Pose on a paddle board. She even followed up right away and sent me the photos — no extra charge. Who does that??? Rob and Aloha were recommended by a friend and Aloha delivered.

If you’re looking into getting a paddleboard this is the go-​to spot. Not only will you be supporting your local shop but you will also be getting a great deal on a quality board through a very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Rob, the owner, is very honest with his customers. He knows the industry inside and out and will definitely meet your needs when it comes to choosing the right board. I bought two boards here at different times. No sales pressure what so ever. This shop is located on waterfront property so you can even test ride before you commit to buying. They also offer SUP fitness classes and instruction.

My son (11yrs old) and I were both first timers at paddle boarding. We had a great time, and Rob was very accommodating when there were more people than boards available and gave service with a smile! The instructors were all great, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time out on the water. We will definitely be back!
