Really unique specialty pizzas with great crusts. Good local craft brew selection. The two slices of pizza + beer combo is a good deal. Knocking off a star because we got seated by the(very noisy) kitchen, even though the place was nearly empty, and the space itself was a little dark.

Atlas Brick Oven Pizza is incredible. I ordered a personal pie with sausage and bacon. The cheese and sauce are homemade and very tasty, and the toppings are cooked well and applied just the right amount so that there are pieces in each bite. Also, the salads are very good. We had the garden salad. It tasted very fresh and came with a delicious dressing. The service is pretty good. There were a few time where we had to ask for more water, but if you are touring the Corning area and want a solid pizza place Atlas is the place to go.

A large specialty spinach mushroom pizza for $ 20.95 is kind of pricey. Should have gotten the Dijiornos frozen pizza for $ 6. which honestly is every bit as good and a much much better value.

The pizza is the best in town… When you can get service. I sometimes wonder if they have a persistence test for customers trying to order take out or delivery. Over and over again, the service is appallingly bad. I’ve been forgotten on hold on multiple occasions, and had another occasion that I’d ordered delivery, waited well over an hour, called back to be to be told ‘oh yeah, there’s a pizza sitting here that we wondered about.’ They said they’d make us new ones, then brought the cold, old pizzas to our door 15 minutes later. I can’t actually remember when I last had a successful attempt to get a delivery order. I feel like a masochist attempting to order there over the phone, just to get aggravated nearly every time. No more.

Hands down, the best pizza in Corning! I love the variety that they offer and have never had a bad pizza from here. My go-to pies are the Maryland Blue Crab and Chicken Artichoke, but I’ve also eaten a lot of the others and never had a complaint. The brick oven gives the pizzas a great bite, without becoming too tough/chewy like Aniello’s is. The pizza is also not nearly as greasy as Aniello’s, which is also one of the reasons I prefer Atlas. They have 2 floors for seating, which is great, but only 1 unisex bathroom in the entire restaurant. The waitstaff is always friendly every time I eat there.

Atlas has always been one of my favorite pizza joints in this town. I usually get the vegetable pizza which comes with mushrooms, caramelized onions, artichokes, broccoli, and tomatoes. The vegetable toppings are always abundant and delicious. Last time, I ordered slices of plain cheese and pepperoni. I will most likely stick with the more flavorful vegetable pizza next time, just because the pepperoni slices were extremely greasy and the plain cheese slices were a bit bland. Nonetheless, the crust was very crispy. I love the fact that they use an oven brick to bake their pizzas. It really makes a difference and sets them apart from the other pizza locations in town. Atlas’s pizza is the closest you will get to NY style pizza in Corning. Aside from pizza, these guys also have a wide selection of other food items. Although I have never tried them myself, I have heard that the calzones here are phenomenal. I would also like to add that the cheesecake here is amazing! If you ever need a sugar fix, I would highly recommend getting a slice of cheesecake(available flavors vary from day to day). Service has always been great – quick and friendly. Prices are very reasonable. I will continue to recommend this place to those who are in search of a good pizza spot on Market Street.

Pizza was very fresh and tasty. I understand what folks are saying about soggy crust… my first piece was crispy all the way, second started getting soggy toward the middle and by the time I had the third piece it was very soggy, but not sure what you do about that with fresh veggies that are sweating after they cook. I also liked the sauce… yes it didn’t have a lot of added flavored but the fresh tomato taste was wonderful… so I guess it’s just personal tastes :)

I had high hopes… I ordered a pie and it was just so bland. It seemed like there were no spices at all in the sauce. I used the dried Italian spices on the table, but even those seemed dry and stale. Rats.

Why no love for Atlas, Corning? My husband and I are rather fond of this place and it’s become a part of our tradition. After we finish our races and wash up, we walk down Market St. and eat at Atlas. Two slices of fresh pizza and a large beer on tap for $ 7.95(AFTER tax!!!). My Jewish husband swoons over this deal. We always get the Atlas, which is basically a pizza with everything. The crust is crisp and the toppings are abundant(much appreciated after running several miles). The service is always prompt and friendly.

Yummy! This place was a great find. Super delicious, super prompt, super fresh. Good all around. Medium pizza is 15.95 and large 19.95. We tried the portobello spinach tomato, the Maryland blue crab, and a typical cheese and ham. All were great! We’d definitely eat here again. Check it out.

I was hoping for NY style pizza. It didn’t quite hit the mark. They do have a special of 2 slices and a drink for $ 6. But, with 4 people, it was the same price to order a whole pie. No problems with the service. The pizza was just ok.

It’s growing on me. It’s not my favorite pizza on Market Street, but it’s a nicer place to hang out for lunch(especially upstairs) than the other spots. Subs a good(and huge). The best thing they have are the chocolate chip cookies. I don’t know if they make them or if they come from an ancient vault of chocolate heaven, but dammit they are wonderful cookies!

I think this is a great place to stop for lunch, they have a lunch special for $ 5.95 — two slice and a fountain soda. It’s a good deal if you’re looking for a quick bite. The pizza isn’t as greasy as some places can be so I really liked that. When you walk in you can seat yourself anywhere and a waitress will come up to take your order. The only thing I didn’t like was the toppings on the pizza. I asked the girl for one cheese and one peppers and onions, she said they could add it on top so I said sure! Well, when they mean add it on top, they really mean just throw raw RED onions and green peppers on top of a pizza without cooking it or really integrating into it. Weird. Not even yellow/white onions like a normal pizzeria but red onions, it wasn’t even worth eating them so I just shook them all off my pizza and ate the cheese. It’s good pizza, I can’t say it’s my favorite yet but I enjoyed it and will probably stop back again to try a calzone or something else!

We chose this restaurant because it’s one of the few places in Corning that stayed open late on a Sunday night. Unfortunately, the house salad was unremarkable, the vegetable pizza was rather flavorless, and the overworked waitress wasn’t very attentive.

They have good options for vegetarians. I like their wrap and California Veggie Pizza

This place has good pizzas but nothing extraordinary. They have good options for vegetarians as well as non-vegetarians. Most importantly, this place was open on 4th of July on which day almost every other restaurant is closed.

Tired of regular boring pizza? Give atlas a try. Specializing in fancy and high quality pizza this place is definitely not your ordinary pizza joint. Great place to take friends or a date night. Lots of awesome options and a awesome staff makes this place a great place to go.

My dad, brother and I came here after watching a movie at the Palace theater. For a Sunday night it was surprisingly full. That might be explained by the fact that most shops on Market Street appear to be closed at 6:00pm on a Sunday night. The restaurant was around 60% capacity(but still oddly loud for the number of people) and we were able to seat ourselves immediately. The waitress came over shortly after we’d been seated and took our order. We decided on a large Prosciutto Basil pizza. This was a good amount of food for the three of us. We have one piece left over sitting in the fridge. The pizza was alright. The crust was very chewy. Enough so that my dad said that«the pizza was fighting back.» It could have done with a few more minutes in the oven. The prosciutto was also very salty. All of the veggies were tasty and there were plenty of them. Some places skimp on their toppings but that wasn’t an issue here. Not the best pizza I’ve ever had, but not the worst.

After a day of driving around visiting Keuka Lake wineries, Baby and I wanted an easy, low-risk meal for dinner and settled on pizza. After looking at recent reviews, there wasn’t a clear winner in Corning but we figured that«Brick Oven» was a good indicator for the type of pizza we like. Unfortunately, we were wrong. The sole purpose of a brick oven is to produce a sufficient temperature to properly cook a pizza resulting in a bubbly cheese and a well-cooked crust. This concept seems to be lost on the folks at Atlas. We ordered two personal pizzas to split — both arrived with a mound of tasteless toppings covered in white, rubbery cheese on a undercooked crust. Maybe it’s just personal preference or growing up in North Jersey but usually the toppings go on top of the cheese(hence, the term«toppings»). In this case, there was nothing holding the meat and veggies on the crust(other than the rubbery, undercooked encasement) so they fell off whenever we took a bite. The crust was barely browned, limp, and just short of soggy. I can live with the paper plates(though I’m surprised that Corning doesn’t seem to have a more slightly upscale pizza place) but the misuse of a brick oven is a pizza travesty.
