If I could give no stars I would. The service was horrible. It was at least 10 mins before we were even acknowledged to order our drinks. One of our meals was not made with the rest of our food and had to be brought out later. Food was average for Denny’s. Will not be visiting this location again.

Slow. Very slow. Often out of some foods. Sometimes not enough staff on hand. The waitresses try but it doesn’t seem well managed. The food is of course the same as all Dennys.

I don’t understand the bad reviews. We have been coming here for a couple of years and always have great service and plenty to eat. Our server yesterday was Amber and she was excellent. Largest Denny’s I have ever been in.

Completely understaffed! Bad service and the food is just frozen and reheated(it is a Dennys so I guess that’s typical) Small portions too! GOWITHTHEFASTFOOD! ITSAVESTIME, MONEY, ANDITSBETTER(actually)

There were more people working than dining in, however it still took a long time for our food to come out. Once it came out and I cut into my pancakes, I found a fly. Not ON the pancake but INSIDE the pancake!

We had the worst service ever!!! Only nine tables seated. Took 10 minutes to be acknowledged. Sausage was raw, no deduction from check. 25 minutes to get food. I always tip big as a past waitress and left nothing. Manager was no help. They have sign as you enter that says, Pleasure to seat you”. What a joke! Best part was our pleasure to leave!!!

Steak was extremely cold and seemed like it was microwaved. It was disgusting and I will never be back, it is in the middle of no where. Just stopped by because I’m in the way to seattle. Don’t come here you might get sick. Service was good though for only being the only waitress this late she did a good job.

Wish I could leave zero stars. I knew this place had bad reviews, but heck, it’s Denny’s, so I wasn’t expecting much anyway. Walked in and saw 3 different people eating while we stood there for almost 10 minutes waiting to be seated. Never even saw a person that actually worked there. Don’t waste your time… just go to the Iron Skillet across the street.

It’s Denny’s so you know what they have to offer. When it first opened it was good, but it has gone downhill so much since then. My family has gotten sick twice from here and the last time we went my mother had a hair in her nachos. They offered her a coupon for a free nachos and took the nachos off her bill, but that is just the last straw that broke the camels back. So disappointed, I guess we will have to go to Chico if we want Denny’s from now on.

Denny’s in Corning, California. Absolutely worst service ever, ever, ever! We ordered 2 milk shakes and she brought them without spoons. When I asked for spoons, she forgot, so later I asked again. Shortly someone brought 2 ice teas instead of ice tea spoons. She didn’t bring any silverware or water so, we had to get silverware from a different table. They were wrapped in napkins but they were not clean. They looked like it had soap residue. I ordered an vegetarian omelette and pointed it out to the waitress on the menu. My daughter & husband ordered nachos to share. When the nachos came it was a plate of chips with a can of chili poured over it & a couple shards of cheese. My omelette was not vegetarian. It had meat. I let her know it was wrong and she told me I had ordered it wrong. When we asked for water and a refill on my husband’s drink, she just never came back to the table. As we were leaving she apologized for forgetting the water. Wow, should have gone to the Iron Skillet across the street.

OK, this is the worst Denny’s ever!!! Since Denny’s is a chain and my roommate likes it I’ve gone 3 times, and EVERY time I regretted it. It should never take so long for breakfast, and there was no excuse. Worst service all 3 times. No refills, no all you can eat pancakes, just the one plate because I couldn’t flag down the waitress. I literally got up out of the booth to ask for water refills here. Consistently takes 1 – 2 hours for breakfast here, don’t get duped, go somewhere else. There is an iron skillet across the street, or a fabulous buffet at rolling hills casino. What I find so frustrating is that my wife and my roommate will still go here!!! I refuse, and literally will stay home and eat pb&j before wasting my life in a Denny’s booth waiting for service.

Stopped in on a Saturday with Grandkids & it was packed! Surprised to have fast service in seating & ordering! Our food took a while but they did bring our order of Pancake Puppies w/Cream Cheese Dipping Sauce. Really Good! Grandkids ordered Blueberry Pancake Meal & Build Your Own Breakfast. A lot of food & all great! Grandpa had Chicken Fried Steak Skillet. Delicious! We all tried each other’s orders and agree all the food was really good, hot and fresh! Thank you Dolce(our server) for great & friendly service, too ;)

This is a nice-looking Denny’s. It has no «sketchy» feel, as some do. It is attached to a Love’s Travel Center, which is convenient, as there is plenty of parking for RVs, and lots of useful services, including gas. It has nice bathrooms, and it looks clean and spacious inside. In addition, it has a nice lawn out front with many young trees. While most people might not note the lawn with trees, we did, because we travel with our dog. This lawn allowed us to safely leave our dog outside, in the shade of a tree, and he was easily seen from the windows of the restaurant as we ate. That was a huge plus for us. The waitress was friendly and prompt. She was more than willing to supply substitutes to the menu for some of my family’s quirky eating habits. The food arrived quickly, was hot, and tasted good. We’d definitely stop here again.

Service was awful. The waitresses acted like they were put out by even simple requests. My companion’s food was cold on arrival. On the plus side, my omelet was decent. I normally like Denny’s but probably won’t be returning to this one.
My honest opinion ..

Well my kids liked it haha and they ate for free which was a pleasant surprise. We waited for what seemed like forever to receive our dinner. I counted four occupied tables. Perhaps the food was ready earlier, but our server was too busy chatting to bring it out, since it was cold.

Slowest Denny’s ever. No hostess when we walked in… waited and waited and didn’t even seen any staff come out of the kitchen so we sat ourselves at the counter. Waited and waited more to have anyone come out. They finally did– then the wait for water. Then the wait for our order to be taken. Literally 30 min we got to order. Note to the staff– we can hear you arguing and yelling at each other from the front entrance. Get a watch or a clock or something so you know when NONE of you have been out from behind the kitchen in 10 minutes. I’ve eaten at tons of Denny’s because you know what you’re going to get and that can be priceless when on the road. Food was decent but after waiting close to 45 min from when we walked in(at 9pm on a Sat. night with under 10 tables full) I would have eaten a shoe.

My boyfriend and I stopped in on New Year’s day, on our way back home from a weekend in Napa. First of all the hostess was on the phone when we walked in, with what sounded like an employee calling in sick… no biggie these things happen… but from that moment on, we definitley felt the absence of this missing employee. We were seated, given our menus, and after deciding on what to eat… we waited, and waited… and waited probably 20 minutes for the waitress to come to our table. The quality of the food, that finally arrived was ok to just good. I had the Turkey dinner which resembled something of a frozen dinner. My boyfriends meal wasn’t much better. Now onto waiting for our bill. We must have waited another 20 minutes for our waitress. The place wasn’t extremely busy either. I think I will try The Iron Skillet across the street, next time we pass through Corning.

Yeah, it’s Denny’s but I was looking for a hot breakfast and decided to stop in. It’s attached to Love’s truck stop, but don’t let that fool you. The waitstaff are super friendly and attentive– two details that I rate right off the bat. Must be pretty new place though as it looked and felt like it probably just opened not long ago. Food was hot and delicious– the hot part being another point in my book for breakfasts. The waitstaff tend to let most breakfasts sit under the heat lamps too long before taking it out to your table, but not here! All in all, a great experience. Yeah, some of the Denny chain restaurants can be dives and full of really weird people, but this one rates high in my book.
