Timber’s Steakhouse

Had a GREAT dinner at Timber’s. Perfect service. Food was really tasty. I ordered the smallest cut of prime rib and have plenty left over for sandwiches tomorrow. The prime rib was seasoned perfectly and very tender. I was also able to get mine cooked just the way I like it. Margaritas were yummy too. Smaller dining room than I imagined, I counted just 15 tables. They were very nice and squeezed us in even though we did not have reservations on a Friday night. I would advise reservations if you are going to dine there on a weekend.

Horrible service and lousy food. There was literally 3 tables filled when we got there and 4 when we left. The server came quickly and took our food/​drink orders and then proceeded to talk to staff and security that wandered through without checking on us or seeing if our order was ready. When she finally stopped chatting she went and cleaned up the 2 tables where customers had left and still didn’t check the kitchen. Our food came 45 minutes later, was cold and disgusting. Will never be back.

Had dinner there for the first time — great atmosphere and super attentive wait staff. Pino Grigio was delightful. Salmon fillet was slightly overdone, but taste was right on. Raspberry walnut salad was balanced by greens. The rosemary bread was a perfect accompaniment.

Love when this restaurant is available. Good food and wine at a reasonable price. My favorite.

Good food and nice ambiance. This is mine and my husband’s go to date night place because we know what they have to offer and that the food is going to be good. The service is usually good. There have been times when it seems that we have been neglected some what. For being in a small casino I am impressed by the food that they offer and put out.

My first dinner visit here was a wonderful experience, Excellent service, and Delicious great food! I need to give a BIG THANK YOU to my server Candace :) She was friendly, mature, professional and knowledgeable of the menu! I loved the Alaskan King crab so much!!! The pork chops were very good and mashed potatoes were yummy. The salad was amazing, it has shredded daikon, sugar coated nuts, Raspberries, and blue cheese crumbles, Comes with a Vinaigrette dressing. They have a nice wine selection too. The restaurant is not huge size, but it’s nice for part of the casino and I thought the décor was interesting. I felt very comfortable there. The bathrooms are not inside the restaurant, but very close by, so it’s easy to get to!!!
On my second night, I went back for more Alaskan king crab, tried a different salad and also ordered Ribeye with baked potato. The meat was delicious and cooked perfectly. Your meal also comes with a nice plate of Olive oil and Balsamic vinegar, plus Rosemary bread. Again, the Alaskan King crab was pretty amazing and I am very thankful Candace was my server again. She is wonderful, easy to talk to and I appreciate her serving me! Overall, Great staff, Great food, Great restaurant! I have to say this is one of the best dinners I have had in a couple years, where everything just went perfect and great and it was wonderful to be there. I fine dine as a hobby and I am constantly traveling. I am so glad I visited Rolling Hills Casino :)
OK, so I am definitely coming back for the Raspberry salad and Alaskan King crab… and I would like to try more of their menu, I heard the Prime Rib is very good and popular to order! Pretty nice clean casino easy to park and go right in. Right off the freeway us a PLUS yahoo no winding mountain roads. Will be back to try my kick again. Maybe check out the hotel next time

Food was okay here. Started off with bread. Cheddar soup and salad followed. Did not like the salad — it was filled with all these candied nuts. The salmon was slightly overdone. Chicken was drenched in too creamy of a sauce. Probably, this food is meant for a certain kind of clientele that likes to eat a lot.
Fantastic service though! The staff really work hard at this casino. I suspect there aren’t many jobs in this rather secluded area.

We stayed in the RV Park and took dinner at the Timbers in the casino. We were not expecting much and were surprised by the quality of the food served in the bar. It was excellent and well worth the visit. The normal bar food menu but the quality surpassed most place of this genre. We had the club, beef quesadilla, wings, salad, cold beer and a generous pour of wine. We had avoided this place as often times casino food is not very good, but the Timbers is an exception.
