We stopped in Corning for lunch on our way back from New Jersey. I used Unilocal to look for a good lunch spot and this place was rated 4.5 stars. You won’t be disappointed. My husband had the po’boy and said it was the best sandwich he ever had. I had the fried buttermilk chicken sandwich and it too was out of this world. It was so tasty and it did not taste fried at all. The atmosphere is really inviting and decorated very much like you’d see in a Pottery Barn or Restoration hardware. We ate at the bar and the seating was so comfortable and spacious. The staff was super friendly. We will definitely stop there again if we are in the area. Too bad it’s 3 hours away from where we live.

If you love beer you must come here! We visited here while in Corning for the weekend. The beer menu is outstanding. They don’t just have a lot of beers they have a lot of quality beers. This also applies to their liqueur as well. We stopped mainly for dinner and plan to go back again another night. The food is excellent. I heard they have an actual trained chef there and it shows in their food. The dishes are unique and delicious. We ordered several«not sandwiches» dishes and shared. I’m not sure how the sandwiches are but they looked good too.

We came here with a group for dinner. We were seated at the long table. The drinks were all very unique and good. In fact, this place is an excellent spot for drinks. However, the food menu is more limited. Everyone in our group of seven enjoyed their meals, but no one was completely blown away. We had the fried chicken sandwich, rice cakes, and banh mi and po boy sandwiches. Of the entrees I tried, the rice cakes were actually my favorite. We were also disappointed there is no dessert menu here. Servers were friendly. Overall, a great bar and place for drinks.

June 7, 2016 Tuesday — 2:30PM for lunch 4 Adult and a kid Atmosphere — 5 stars Food — 5 stars Service — 5 stars Background — My wife saw their menu yesterday and my daughter suggested this place for lunch today. Atmosphere — Very long bar and next to it is a long community/family style table for everyone to sit at. The building is old but has a very modern hipster feel to it. Food Drink — Titan IPA from Colorado. Their beer list was very impressive. Lunch — I had the brisket sandwich. Oh so good. Do not look for anything else on the menu. This is all you need if you love cow. Service — We talked beer and whiskey. Huge list of both. Even Japanese whiskies. Future — Yes please.

Stopped in for a late lunch. The vibe is casual and a little hipster and the booze selection is seriously out of control. You want great beer — got it, great wine — yep got it, great selection of spirits — oh yeah they got that too. The menu is interesting and there were way too many items that I wanted to try. Today I went with the Bunny Melt with a side of greens. The sandwich was toasted crispy, the rabbit was moist and the carrot jam added the perfect, just right sweet touch. I enjoyed every single bite of this sandwich. The greens were tossed with an oniony vinaigrette. It was light but still very flavorful. I accompanied my Bunny Melt with a nitro milk stout that was on tap. Smooth and rich, a great pairing. Service was exceptional. There are games to play while you wait. If we lived here this would definitely be our go to place!

My mother-in-law, sister-in-law, and I were looking for a place to eat lunch after creating glass art at the museum. The menu for Hand and Foot stood out and I convinced the ladies that we should give this a go. I just HAD to order their take on poke(I grew up on the north shore of O’ahu). Although their take was very different from traditional poke, the dish was flavorful and comforting. We each had a sandwich(sampling from one another’s plates, because they all looked yummy). Our waitress was very helpful and genuine when we asked for help ordering beers/drinks. Thanks for a memorable meal!

This was a great bar — they have inventive food that varies and is definitely non-traditional but very good. This is a differently style bar that is clearly evident from the time you are in front on the sidewalk and once you walk in you’ll see an eclectic age group enjoying the food, full bar, and the overall atmosphere hand and foot has to offer. They have a youthful feeling about their place with moderate-to-loud music playing, ambient lighting, and different styles seating throughout the bar. With the group that I went with no one was disappointed by their meals or that service, which were both very good. The waiter was attentive and accommodating. So starting with the drinks they have a full bar and wide beer selection so you can’t really go wrong with the options to choose from. Then looking at the menu there are all kinds of variations and take on modern cuisine — ranging from banh mi, shredded barbecue and chicken sandwiches. They also had non-sandwich options but we all found the sandwiches the most appealing so we devoured them. This is a must try when in Corning.

We are in town just for the weekend, found here online with good reviews, and no disappointments! Good selections of beer, plus the stuff /owner is super knowledgeable and nice to give recommendations. All the food we ordered were really good. It’s somewhat fusion style, but all good elements. The pork chop was really great — tender and juicy. Really liked the rice cakes too, butter miso flavor is decent.

This place is a real gem! The eclectic décor and long communal table down the middle is great. We went in being optimistic after hearing a few mixed reviews from friends and I think they were all a bit off. We immediately got the this is the cool neighborhood bar where you can sit and watch the very talented bartender or talk with others and actually hear each other feel. The drink list is HUGE. They have at least 10−15+ beers on tap at any time and the drink menu literally has a glossary. I came across a Moscow mule a few months ago and can never find a bar that can make it but I knew this place could. I asked and the bartender didn’t bat an eyelash as he started creating. I wish I had gotten his name but he has a strong European accent(maybe British or Scottish I’m not sure). He really made it a joy to watch as he made drinks and they were delicious! My Moscow mule hands down best one I’ve had yet and one of my friends ordered a Phil Collins. I really recommend giving this place a try. We did hear the food is really good but we didn’t try anything… but that’s definitely the plan for the next date night.

The best food in this area! I’m an out of towner and this place looked fun so we decided to check it out. Super cool and trendy and amazing craft cocktails! We actually went there twice in one day because we couldn’t resist! The scotch egg, homemade pickles, fried chicken sandwich(sounds like a boring or basic thing to order but we all races that it was one of the most delicious meals ever), poke and shrimp po boy. They also offer fun games to play while you’re eating. Love this place!

My experience here was just for drinks. Great bar with the most extensive liquor list I’ve ever seen. Bartenders were friendly and know how to use all that liquor, great drinks and a nice friendly, welcoming atmosphere.

This is our favorite place to go in Corning! The staff are always friendly, prompt, and helpful. They have a great selection of beer, wine, and great cocktails. Every menu item is delicious! I come here frequently and have yet to find something on the menu that isn’t amazing. If you’re looking for great food and adult beverages in a cool, relaxed atmosphere — this is the place to go.

Great service. Waiter was down to earth along with the atmosphere. I was very surprised to see an Asian fusion twist at this place in the middle of nowhere land. They made a curry fried rice and incorporated Korean rice sticks and kimchi on the menu. Excellent food and worth the price.

If you’re a connoisseur of adult beverages, enjoy an adventurous menu, and thrive on locally sourced ingredients, this is the best place on the street. If you’re none of those things then we will never be friends. The food is consistently great. Last time I went we had some jicama and carrot fries on the side. SWEETHOLYMOSES if they’re on the menu get them. They go out of their way to keep the bar stocked with the best craft beer selection around. The atmosphere is great as well(albeit a bit dark, whatever). The bartenders and servers are helpful/friendly/attentive. The playlist is wonderful. Just go here!

This place is a little gem on the Main drag of Corning. It reminds me of a place you would find in Brooklyn or another big city. I love the layout of this bar. There are a few individual tables in the back and couches in the front but I love the big table in the middle. You make friends that way! It is very industrial and rustic looking in here so it’s my style. A+. The bartenders/service is very good, everyone is super friendly and attentive. There is one bartender who is just awesome, he’s very friendly and fun all at the same time, always has a smile on his face. The owner is a nice guy too. The food. I love the pretzel. It’s awesome. I usually only get small plates here instead of the big entrée/sandwiches. I’m not a huge sandwich person so I don’t always choose places with only sandwiches and they have a majority. It’s okay, I love the pretzel. I’ve had a salad from there once this past fall and I was not impressed with it. One thing I miss from the menu is the corn! OHTHECORN! It was so amazingly delicious, I wish it would come back! I’m a vegetarian so this place doesn’t have a huge cater to my kind but it’s not terrible. The drinks. The drink menu is HUGE. Bigger then the food menu. It will take you some time to order it if you are indecisive so be prepared! One thing I wish they had? Dessert. I’m big on desserts and I don’t remember them having a section for it so boo. I guess it’s okay because I walk right down to Dippity Do-Da’s and I have my fix. But c’mon guys! Who has a restaurant and no dessert?! It’s my only downfall. Love this place though. Happy hour spot, definitely. Date night, definitely.

Corning is my usual go-to town when driving between Toronto and Philadelphia/New York since it’s about the halfway point and it’s a nice little town with quite a big glass-making company(which is why I think everything closes here so damn early because no one cares to make more money than they have to). So, when the one restaurant I’ve been trying for years to try out was closed for the day(5pm every day), I decided to try out another new restaurant in their little town center and found Hand and Foot not only opened, but had a pretty healthy menu, which I was craving. Their décor and setup is more or less modern hipster which matched their creative and interesting items on their menu. Mostly they had sandwiches, but they also had some other«non-sandwich» items. I had their recommended curry beef sandwich which was probably one of the better tasting sandwiches I’ve had in a very long time. It was very interesting and full of flavors. Who would’ve thunk putting curried meat with steamed maple-glazed baby carrots and corn would make for such a delight for the tastebuds? I also got their kale slaw which was really, really good. My mom and I kept wondering how they were able to take most of the bitterness out of it leaving it perfectly tasting with a hint of bitterness. Their beer menu is decent. Wished they had more of the dark stout variety. Service was awesome and very helpful. Our waitress recommended all that I had and it was worth taking her advice on the choices. So, whenever I drive up to TO again, I’ll definitely be stopping by here to grab a nice meal with friendly service. Parking: Free 2 hour street Wait: 15 mins after ordering Price: $ 10+ per person

Smaller but thorough beer list. Tasty and inventive sandwiches. Though I think they are a bit overpriced($ 13 for a banh mi is hard to handle when the best banh mis I’ve had are less than $ 5), the food is nom nom. The ambience is absolutely tops. If I had a bar, this would be how I wanted to decorate. Queen Anne vintage chairs, comfortable stools at the bar… just lovely. Customer service is top notch– helpful, friendly and fast.

Needed to eat. On the way home. Other Unilocal reviews and pics drew us in with interesting dishes and a long beer list. Holy crap, did this knock it out of the park. My sausage was delicious and I remember sort of wanting to lick the side salad bowl after I was done.(Yessss, tasty dressing.) The beer selection, though – oh my goodness. Not too heavy on one style, and complete with a lot of choices you wouldn’t see anywhere else. I had enough trouble deciding what to eat on the food side. The beer side was even more difficult, especially given that I wanted maybe one max since we had a drive home. If you’re up for something adventurous, go here. The interior is a little darker, but cute and cozy. There’s a huge, ornate bar, which suggests that the rest of their alcoholic offerings are just as amusingly diverse as the beer list. A real highlight was the women’s room – retro tile everywhere! I grew up in older houses with awesome tile work, so that made me smile.

Brooklyn meets Corning: Hand and foot is a bar that seems and feels like it is straight out of Williamsburg. The idea/goal of the this bar/restaurant is to be unique and carry items that can’t be found anywhere else on Market Street. The beer selection is probably the best of any place I have ever been. They are constantly rotating taps and their bottle selection is second to none. They have imports from Germany(Uerige Doppelsticke) to Belgium(St. Bernardus) to domestics from top notch craft breweries, Maine Beer Co. You will pay more than you will down the street, but it is totally worth it. Additionally, their food is also probably some of the best on Market St. and certainly the most unique. I have tried almost everything on the menu. Their bahn mi, pullman melt, duck confit melt, the pork chop are all great. They frequently have specials which you should always try. Make sure you get a cup of bread and butter pickles with every meal, they’re fantastic. Overall this is a great place that is always crowded and always impresses.
