I’ve been training with Pat for years now and am really stoked to see him get a kite school up & running in Corolla. Safety is of an upmost concern, and I’ve always felt safe while learning from these guys. I’m excited to get back and get more water time for July 4th! Probably one of the coolest things I’ve ever done in the Outer Banks. If you want to have fun, check these guys out!

My girlfriend and I had a soundside intro lesson at the Whalehead club with Pat. We had a blast and kiteboarding was a fun new activity for us annual Corolla visitors. In the past we had gone on horse tours, rented surfboards, and rode jet skis, but this was the first time we had seen kiteboarding lessons in Corolla! I’m no pro, but now have a good understanding of how to prep a kite, harness, lines, and get it up in the air safely. Pat’s lesson was really informative, laid back, and beginner friendly.
I would highly recommend Corolla Kiteboarding to the vacationer who is looking to try something new and different on the obx. Bring a camera and your friends to watch!
If Pat and his crew ever come to Texas, I’ll give them a lesson on how to ride a bull and then bbq it afterwards!
