Nags Head Hammocks

I ordered a double swing in July 2013 from the store just south of Kill Devil Hills, NC. Looking forward to getting y swing in NJ for balance of summer. Follow up calls the swing arrived in just over two weeks, unfortunately ½ was the wrong color! Customer service was not open on the weekend– I was promised a call mid-​day Monday. I had to call 3 times to finally get it resolved — no call back as promised.
I decided to order the cypress stand and springs. Calling the store I was assured the stand will fit my swing. I ordered on-​line to save 50% shipping. Only one spring was shipped, so it was another call to get 2^nd spring shipped.
The stand I recieved is 4 — ¾ inch cypress planks bent and glued together with a 450 lb capacity. The web site boast 7 — ¾ inch cypress planks bent and glued with a 500 lb capacity. When looking at the FAQ of their website it states a larger cypress stand is needed for my swing!
Calling customer service I was told they only carry one cypress stand for 20 years and it is the one I recieved. I guess I am the only customer who noticed the compleatly different describition of the stand and what was shipped.
The rep said thay are in the process of updating the website…
$ 1,300+ for a outside swing — I would expect much much better customer service, correct materials and quanties shipped and accurate information on the website.
Not a very big fan in Lake Hopatcong, NJ to say the least.

There are several locations in the Outer Banks. Nags Head Hammocks has some of the most comfortable outdoor furniture ever. There inventory is not limited to hammocks at all. They have super comfortable single person swings, double swings, chairs, bar stools and tables to match. The seats in the swings are netting like you would find in a hammock although they also have cushioned swings and chairs. The products are made in the USA and seem to be very high quality. The woman that helped us was extremely friendly and helpful. She encouraged us to try the different products to find what worked best for us. They were ALL very comfortable. We ended up purchasing a net double person swing with footrest. I can’t wait to get this hung up for spring.
