The Good Egg

With its surly, irritable waitresses, depressing expanse of dining space, chipped melamine plates, watery scrambled eggs, cloying creamed chipped beef, and limp bacon, the Good Egg is not good. In fact, a couple of my companions compared it unfavorably to a mess hall. Do not, under any circumstances, decide to have breakfast here. Not even drunk.

Overprived tourist trap. They feature a $ 10 breakfast buffet. We glanced at it on our way tot he table and we were not impressed with the selection. If it was $ 6-​$ 8 I might have considered it. So I had a couple eggs with hash browns and my Lady I think had french toast. The food was decent and the only complaint I heard from the other side of the table was price and that the hash browns were way over spiced. I thought they were good though. I also got ham with my meal and that was the highlight because the portion was really big. The highlight of the place is the service. Everyone int he place was genuinely friendly. All in all, not bad if you stay away from the buffet but don’t expect to get out of here for under $ 20.
