Outer Banks Popcorn Shoppe

This place has some amazing popcorn and is worth the price. I went in this year and got the Corolla crunch, S’mores and chocolate drizzled caramel. All very good and fresh, only thing I would recommend is to have more than 1 person working, since there is usually a pretty busy crowd in the store.

So I’m a freakin popcorn addict now thanks to this place. All the flavors are great! My favorites are Corolla Crunch, pirate blend and Old Bay! Total yummo.

Last year was our first trip to the Outer Banks. We happened upon Outer Banks Popcorn Shopped at Timbuck II one day. The young lady working there was super nice, letting us sample lots of flavors. I was really please at the variety of flavors. We ended up taking some of the S’mores home for my parents who were babysitting our dog.

We’ll be stopping in again this year for some more!

I give them an «A» for effort. They have a ton of flavors and they were all pretty good and true to their titles. We tried the garlic parmesan, bacon and cheese, cheesy ranch, watermelon, s’mores, carmel, carmel/​chocolate, and maybe even a few more.
We ended up with a bag of Carmel/​Chocolate and bacon and cheese. I liked them both but I wish they were a little more crunchy. I felt like the popcorn got soft or somewhat chewy in the transition from the shop to the condo.
They sealed in the popcorn so it was airtight but for some reason I don’t feel like it kept very well. I know carmel popcorn is sticky but if I was going to compare it to the famous Garretts, it doesn’t hold a candle.
It is a nice snack but I won’t be ordering it online due to midnight cravings, if you know what I mean.
