Go Greek Yogurt

Go Greek Yogurt has locations in Beverly Hills, Topanga, and Newport Beach. I was invited to attend the grand opening of Go Greek’s newest location in Corona Del Mar. The location is on the corner of Coast Highway and Narcissus Avenue, just a few steps down from El Cholo.
It is not a big store, but there’s a lot to offer.
On one wall is Kyro: a self-​serve Greek frozen yogurt that is prepared in-​house using fresh (FRESKO) yogurt, so it’s rich in protein and probiotics, and lower in sugars and calories. There’s a variety of flavors from plain, chocolate, berries to the flavor of the day. This day’s flavor was biscuit, and yes, it did taste like a biscuit. Adjacent to the self serve machine are medleys of toppings you can add. Priced by weight at $ 0.75 an ounce.
In addition to Kyro, the staff can prepare over 15 sweet and savory fresh Greek yogurt creations. Prices range from $ 6.50-$ 10.50 depending on size and toppings. I tried a sample of the Greek Salad. At first I was a bit apprehensive, but the ingredients of a salad on top of yogurt worked. However, I think I would stick to the sweet toppings.
Per Go Greek, they explained their plain Greek yogurt is packed with probiotics, contains double the protein, half the carbs, and half the sodium than that of regular yogurt, and is also lower in calories. When paired with their gourmet Greek and superfood toppings, these creations burst with enough nutritional value to nourish and satisfy the body during any meal of the day extended menu.
Go Greek Yogurt also have a café, serving up hot and cold espresso drinks, and hot and iced teas.
For those who work out, its is a great protein alternative.
Its located along the busy Coast Highway, with parking behind the building or along the street/​residential area.

Go Greek provided small yogurt cups for a Wake Up Newport event. I was very impressed! They came with both sweet and savory options for toppings. Though they only brought a small sampling, it was enough to know that I’m going to love this place! Very rich and creamy! But fyi, I think it’s 10% milk fat, not your usual 4% that you get at the market. They have other options, but I have not tried them. They also have frozen yogurt. .Can’t wait!

So creamy and amazing. New fave place! I love the salty and sweet yogurt options on their menu too. Nice little addition to CDM!

I am a fan of all things frozen yogurt (I know that makes me very basic)! I also love self serve so this place hit the spot. They have a wall of frozen Greek yogurt soft serve to try. We tried tart, honey, chocolate and vanilla. There are lots of topping options too. This includes some chocolate chips, nuts, fresh fruit –none of that gross syrupy fruit sauce. I got lots of pomegranate and blueberries with slivers almonds on top. They weigh them to determine the price.
The yogurt is light and all flavors we tried were great! They have a menu with lots of coffee choices. In addition to frozen yogurt there some sweet and savory Greek yogurt dishes. Rather than make your own, you can choose a combination off the menu. There are breakfast or lunch options based upon flavor profiles. They have a Greek salad one that sounds like it would be very good at lunch.
This is very new so it was a bit chaotic inside as patrons were confused so have some patience. I will definitely try it again.
