The customer service at this store was non existent! We went in with the intent to purchase a few cords of wood along with a few other items. We asked about wood to use for the fire pits at Corona Del Mar Beach and he said that they did not have wood only duraflame and that the beach did not allow wood! After Googling it, we found out that the clerk was lying just to push his duraflame and Google said wood is acceptable! I did not appreciate getting lied to. We ended up going to Smart and Final.

Called asking what kind of Belgian beer they had in stock and the guy was extremely rude. He seemed bothered by my question rather than give two shits about my needs as a customer. Only pro is that they’re open late if you want some liquor. Other than that, I wouldn’t spend a dime of my hard earned cash here

absolutely ridiculous.
they DO have quite the selection of (overpriced) tequilas in interestingly shaped bottles, ie: handgun, 3ft shotgun, glass dildo, moose, menorah, among plenty others. one star for that, i quess.

Whoooaaaa there Brandon. It’s not their fault you’re drinking Heineken!
I used to come here with Bryan May and pick up booze to get us through the days over at Gelato Classico (rest in grease). This is actually the liquor store that turned me on to my current favorite libation, Stone Brewery’s Old Guardian (barleywine). The premium beer they sold was all priced appropriately, in fact, I think this liquor store is the cheapest I’ve ever found Old Guardian!
The dude who ran the place was always smoking cigars, which when mixed with the numerous gun shaped tequila bottles kind of added to the ambience of the place. I thought it was a nice contrast with the surrounding Corporate Del Mar.
