What a great place to buy and drink wine! The guys here are so friendly and have an incredible knack for wine! They also have a great selection of wines that you can’t buy everywhere. Cozy atmosphere that is modern but rustic and perfect for vino!

Very comfortable atmosphere, great selection of flights and wines by the glass. They even have port by the glass! Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly and happily share their input on your selections of wines. Nice selection of small plates to nibble on while sipping your wine. SURPRISE… was that they have dessert! A warm chocolate brownie with blueberries in it which was both unexpected and delightfully delicious. Absolutely amazing and it paired VERY well with my port. That alone will bring me back more frequently!

I love this place, but the bartender told me I could buy a bottle of wine and bring it to the Port theater down the street AND that the theater would open the bottle for me to enjoy. I bought a $ 23 half bottle and brought it to the theater and the lady who works at the theater told me they couldn’t do that. I wouldn’t have bought a $ 23 half bottle of wine if that was the case! I feel cheated and lied to. I went back to return the bottle after the movie but they were closed. Ugh!

This is a good spot to try some wine and catch up with friends. The atmosphere is relaxed but upscale and the service is good. The bartenders take time to tell you more about wine selections and also will offer you a taste to help you decide. They always have a good selection by the glass. They also offer 3 flights typically and they change them up frequently. Last night my husband tried a Pinot noir flight and I tried a flight that had 1 Portuguese and 2 Spanish wines. There was also a rose flight offered but it felt too cool out for rose. I probably wouldn’t ever try some of these wines without the flight option. This helps because not every wine is a win for every person. If you are hungry they also have a light selection of food that pairs well with wine i.e. Cheese boards, flat breads. They also sell bottles of wine, they are typically a little more expensive than other stores though. The selection can be really good though and the staff will really help you select which is great. If you are interested in trying something new go on in.

This is a place that all wine lovers need to come!!! I can not believe the selection that they have You need a bottle wine, come here! Not sure what to get, come here! My girl friend and I came here Saturday after hearing great things about it at The Ritz, and it was exactly what we were looking for. Great wine selection Staff was friendly and you can tell they enjoy working there Very reasonable prices Open ambience and yet cozy at the same time It was perfect of us to sit and have couple glasses of wine for girl’s night out, then buying a bottle and taking it home to stock up for the late nights. Normally, it’s fun to go to a local wine shop(which shall not be named) and spend some time going up and down the stairs… but this is more relaxing and less chaotic going to 5000 bottles to find one. Instead, you just pick one from 200 good ones, after enjoying the service and atmosphere.

Hidden Gem in Corona Del Mar! Incredible staff– who will educate before you buy and a vast selection to choose from. Within walking distance of other neighboring watering holes make it the perfect stop when in OC. Highly recommend this establishment.

A wine room, so classy but unpretentious and casual, dark but airy, and chill, both literally(air conditioning was blasting) and figuratively that we might be planning a date night to get our drinks on here, sample the interesting looking menu, and walk to the Port Theater. I knew it was special just opening the heavy, old door which was the original door of the church that once stood there, according to an owner Jim. Still serving wine, different venue. Daniel was a friendly, attentive, and generous server, and the French rose he let me sample was THEE most delicious, balanced, and drinkable rose I’ve had, all the rich flavor of a syrupy, fruity but tart rose, with the crisp, clean mouthfeel of fresh water. Returned 12⁄15. The rose is still amazing. Don’t let them talk you into buying a bottle of wine and bringing it to the theater. Two separate workers told us two separate times it was cool, and the theater said no. LAME.

I stopped in last night to grab a glass of wine with a friend and remembered just how much I love this place. Wonderful wines in a relaxed, friendly, neighborhood vibe. Jeff was a wonderful host never making us feel rushed to leave. A great night and can’t wait to go back! So lucky to have this spot in my neighborhood! P. s. Get the meatballs! Delish!

My wife and I discovered this place by accident. We talked to the owner Jeff. Cool guy. We tried the big red blend flight from Naps. Wow. Amazing stuff. Tried the Barnett Vineyard Merlot. Best Merlot that I have ever tasted. Great selection of wine. I mean, the good stuff. A delightful find. On the weekends, they have live music. Definitely check this place out. I do not think that you will be disappointed.

The owner Jeff knows how to make his customers feel welcome. Great food paired with the right wines. You can not go wrong stopping by this place. Good music and the game of the night is one the single TV. A definite must in CDM!!!

My husband and I came here one afternoon we had free together. The wine selection was very nice, however the kitchen isn’t open until around 4−5ish, which is unfortunate. As we were leaving to grab a bite to eat, we heard another patron order a cheese plate. We wish we had known that was still available even though the kitchen was closed. Other than that, it was a nice experience.

Had a super fun Friday evening here w my Bestie and Sister! Adorable ambiance, gracious service and delicious wine and snacks! Reggae and R&B wafting from the speakers created just the right tone for relaxing into the weekend and the lighting was just right for romance… We ordered a bottle of Rosé and got to taste the California and the French so we could choose what we liked… Ended up agreeing on the French, though both were well crafted and delicious! Enjoyed sharing the delicious Mushroom Crostini w Goat Cheese and got the Unilocal deal for checking in which made the whole experience so much cooler! Best to get here early as they fill up by 6ish and the corner table by the window is def the most coveted spot in the house! Located w/in easy strolling distance to CDM state beach if you are looking to cap your experience by catching a sunset! Cheers!

Right where MacArthur meets Highway 1 you’ll find this great little wine bar. A hidden locals gem for sure. My boyfriend and I had the pleasure of meeting Rachel and Jeff. Jeff seemed to possibly be one of the owners. Both seemed really knowledgeable of their wines, especially Jeff(You can tell he takes pride in his wine collection.) Rachel gave excellent service, talking to everyone and making sure everyone was being served promptly. Both were very personable and just gave the whole gallery itself a laid back, warm, and inviting feel. Let’s get down to the good stuff! They have an excellent selection of wines. You can tell they change it up, so you aren’t always getting the same glasses to choose from. Their food is equally as amazing. We had their cheese and Salumi board and it was a definite hit. We can’t wait to come back and try more! The only downside would be the parking. They have a small parking area out back, otherwise you need to find some one the street. Wont stop us from coming back though!

This is a great little wine bar and retail establishment located on pacific coast highway in Corona Del Mar. You can purchase a wide variety of California wines, and they offer a few labels from other regions as well. Wine purchased by the bottle from their retail side can be opened in their restaurant for about $ 10 over retail prices, which is a good deal verses the typical 50−60% markup found elsewhere. As for food, the options are not extensive. They consist of small plates and appetizers. So while not ideal if you’re looking for a full dinner destination, the food pairs perfectly with wine for a light dinner or late evening bite. The staff is also very knowledgeable and friendly. You’ll really enjoy your time there should you choose to visit.

So absolutely amazing! I have been here a few times before and thankfully, I just started getting into Unilocal… Great prices on bottles of wine, absolutely the best appetizers in all of CDM, and who could beat this atmosphere… Easy going, relaxed vibe. Everything is amazing and beyond perfect, not to mention, you get 10% off?!? Delightful.

Came here for a bachelorette party with a good sized group. The inside is very cool… lots of wood and stone. Even though you’re right off the main drag in Corona del Mar, it feels very intimate. They have an actual bar on the inside with a TV and tables around it(with a giant wine room too). Jeff couldn’t have been a better host to us 11 crazy girls. He gave us more than enough pours(which were all delicious), some delicious cheese plates and hummus, and even a champagne toast for the bride-to-be. The entire staff here though was amazing, gracious and helpful. We all really had a great time. With my meager budget I was unfortunately unable to afford a bottle of any of the delicious selections they gave us but I would definitely recommend going here on a Friday or Saturday night just to do some tasting. It’s not a big place and I think it can get pretty busy so the earlier you get there the better. And because I always have to end my reviews with a note about the parking… it’s near a beach, off a main street. Nuff said.

I thought this was an ok wine bar… The décor of the place was nicely done. Dimly lit place with sort of a modern feel. I liked the overall ambiance of the place. I liked how the tasting room was separated from the wine shop. You can enjoy your wine and then head over to the shop for a bottle of wine if you’d like. I guess the downside for me was that I thought their wine list was mediocre for being a wine bar. I expected more of variety. I just ordered a glass of Plump Jack’s Cabernet and was happy with my selection. My friend ordered their cabernet flight for $ 25 which I thought was decent but nothing really stood out to me. We ordered their 5 cheese platter which was good. They were 5 different types of cheeses from all over the world. It also came with sliced green apples, raisins, nuts, crackers, bread and honey. It was actually quite good and I would order it again. We ended up ordering a couple desserts to end our night. We ordered their crème brûlée which was ok… It was your standard crème brûlée, nothing special. We also ordered their Apple Tart A La Mode… it was actually pretty good. I liked the gramham cracker like crumble on top of the pie and it wasn’t overly sweet. BUT there was no ice cream! When asked they told us that they ran out of ice cream… I would expect them to tell us this before serving us the dish… I thought that was alittle shaddy… But our waiter was nice and apologized. Overall, it was a decent wine bar but I probably wouldn’t go out of my way to come here again…

This is a cute little wine bar on PCH. It’s a great place to hang out with some friends and have a few glasses of wine. I definitely want to come back to try some of the food. I had the cabernet flight for $ 25. It was a tasting of 3 different wines. The wines were decent. I didn’t like or dislike any of the wines that were part of the flight, but wine preference is different for each person. I just didn’t feel like any of the 3 different wines were that memorable. The cheese platter was good. It included 5 cheeses, sliced apples, raisins, nuts, and honey. I liked most of the cheeses and was surprised at the quantity and quality of what was available on the platter. I wish there was more of that delicious bread. Dessert was good. We had the apple pie and crème brûlée. The crème brûlée was delicious, creamy and sweet. The apple pie was interesting. There was a crumble on top that I could not stop eating. The server did not tell us that they we out of ice cream until we asked. Pie a la mode was served without ice cream. :(The server ended up apologizing and explaining that it was actually a very tasty gelato that we were missing. Thanks dude! We still get our ice cream or gelato.
