Love the selections of beers but beware that some are no longer available if you are looking at older reviews. Their crow burgers and French dip burgers are amazingly good! What ever buns they are using is like a ciabatta roll but fluffy. Easy to bite and the meat on the French roll was so tender. Their large wings was ok but kind of messy since they give you the whole wing. Their banh mi sliders were surprisingly good! A little flavor of a Vietnamese sandwich in a bite size. Over all I would come back again to try their other items.

This place is defiantly a FIVE star place. I gave it 3 because it’s really pricy. I got fries, sweet potato fries and two drinks. That was $ 50.00. I’m not cheap I just was not expecting for it to be that much. I’m definitely going back again in the future and having dinner.

Went here with a buddy for dinner, it was super busy and pretty packed. We had a reso, but we got there a little early and they only had a table downstairs available(apparently the downstairs isn’t as fun as the upstairs). They have a community table which is great, good and fine. But we opted for the bar. Bartender was super chill, I ordered some passion fruit cocktail and it wasn’t overly sweet. Super good. Ordered the duck fat fries and the duck fat chicken. And some green bean things. All were super good. I would definitely get the chicken again.

4 stars for food and 5 stars for service. Aaron was our waiter and he was awesome! Aaron helped us pick out great cocktails and appetizers. He was very friendly and super patient. The appetizers were small but very savory. We ordered the sausage trio, pork belly sliders and the grilled artichokes. The grilled artichokes were really good and flavorful. This is a good go to for a bar with an upscale menu. They have a great selection of beer also.

The sparkling rosé was delicious, the food was alright, but the small plates were ridiculous. They just didn’t work.

Love this place. Always a great selection of craft beers. And the food… mmmmmmmm…the brussel sprouts are wonderful. Also their burgers are juicy and very tasty. Definitely adding this one to great local classy bars…

Great atmosphere for a night out! I came here with my husband for a date night during a business trip, it was recommended by locals, and we enjoyed the whole evening! The food is delicious and reasonably priced, the staff was. Rey friendly, and the noise level was moderate so you could actually speak and hear each other.

We are from out of town and came here for dinner. This has been our least favorite restaurant so far. Mainly because we feel the price to what you get ratio is not balanced. Sweet waitress. Kitchen took a while. We ordered: Beer Duck fat fries(aioli dipping sauce rocks) Caesar(meh) Margarita Flatbread(great and filling) Special Flatbread(great) With all the restaurants in town I won’t go back. Not bad but not awesome.

Saturday Night 9PM. Tip 1 — make a reservation! This place was booming. It was so busy that the hostess tried her best to get us to leave. She seemed a little overwhelmed because of how busy it was. After we made it clear that we weren’t heading for the door anytime soon and didn’t mind how long a table would take, she scanned the restaurant and squeezed us in on a table used for multiple parties. We really did love it here. We had a flatbread pizza along with some sweet potato fries, wine and beer, then finished off with a couple of cocktails. Pizza — $ 15 Fries — $ 7 Beer/Wine — $ 7+ Cocktails $ 13+ If i’m in the area i would definitely come back — with a reservation. Also, huge applause on the unisex bathrooms. With the current state of affairs in The South, it’s nice to see California being so customer friendly!

I can’t seem to figure out why they aren’t rated higher. Easily the best selection of craft beers in the Corona del Mar area. Tap list is always changing, and you can count on Pliny the Elder being on tap every few weeks. Everything is local, and the servers and bartenders are very knowledgable about each selection. I typically have one of their burgers, and have yet to be disappointed. Marrow burger is easily my favorite. They also have an awesome selection of flat breads, and their french fries are on point. It can get busy on a Friday or Saturday night, but lunch is usually wide open. Easy valet parking for a small fee makes parking on PCH very easy.

The biscuit appetizer is amazing! Definitely worth getting to start. We came for brunch after just seeing this place from the street and we were happy we did! They have good portion sizes and decent pricing(especially the $ 5 mimosas on Sunday morning!) I got the mushroom flatbread and it was a little creamy for me but still really tasty. The duck fat fries are awesome and our service was top notch. Glad we stopped in and hope we can visit again when we’re back in SoCal :)

Review is for the NEWPORT location!!! Came here and had dinner here. I got the chicken and turkey sandwich and was pretty good. I also got a sierra nevada tropical IPA. Liked the beer, as it was kind of sweet and went well with my meal. We also got some fries on the side which was yummy. I got to try their patty melt burger and it was pretty delicious! I’d say to get that if you go! What I really liked about this place was the service! Everyone is really nice. Decent food, Great service! I’d come back Would I recommend this? Sure, for a quick meal & great service!

Where do I start? I saw The Crow Bar and Kitchen while driving around PCH one day and vowed that when I turned 21 I would go. Well the time has come and I’m so happy I chose them for my birthday dinner. I made the reservation on Sunday morning for the same night with ease. The gentleman I talked to on the phone(didn’t get his name) gave me a brief run down of the place and made it a very easy process. Upon arrival we were taken to our table and greeted by our server, Aaron(who was fantastic throughout the whole night), and it began. Food: We started with the Grilled artichoke, Sausage Trio and pretzel bread, and grilled rustic bread. The artichoke was extremely fresh and flavorful(especially with the bread). Each sausage was vastly different and packed with flavor.(Probably my favorite of dish of the night). 2 Caesar salads that had the best Parmesan croutons I’ve had in a very long time.(Literally just think crispy Parmesan cheese). Entrees included: Braised short rib pot roast that was one of the most tender pieces of meat I’ve ever had. The carrots, potatoes, and gravy fit it perfectly. Friends ordered: Margarita flatbread Grilled cheese of the day(that had bacon, onions, and roasted tomatoes inside and was topped with a fried egg) that was absolutely fantastic. Kitchen sink salad French dip Crow burger And now drinks: I love absinthe so of course I had to order the sazerac. For something small(in comparison to the crow-jito) it can hold its own. I also ordered the(mai) tied up which was delicious. Other drinks included: crowjito, Newport coast, and rev Nats winter. All in all, Food: 5 Drinks: 5 Service: 5 My only disappointment was a you don’t get to use the cool plates that have little crows on them, they’re decorations only haha. That being said, I can’t wait to go back. Thanks for a fantastic meal!

We came without rezzies on a Thursday night and there were seats, but we cut it close because it got pretty packed soon after. We shared the black label burger, crow burger and duck fat fries. The burger portions were a bit small but they’re artisan, we get it. The taste alone made the world go round again. They were both delicious. The famous duck fat fries aren’t amazing, but they paired well with the burgers. They need bigger water glasses with less ice because the glasses are tiny and the ice impedes you from actually drinking. More attention to refills, please.

The setting and bartenders make it happen for me. Beer selection and food, of course, but that’s a given. This place is right on PCH, so good energy from the traffic. Nice inside as well. Can turn into a bit of a scene during busy hours. Noisy then. Back to bartenders, I met two of them here this afternoon, and they were very engaging and authentic. That’s what bars are about, and yes I had a couple IPA’s as well.

The Crow Bar is one of my regular go-to spots whenever I’m craving a good burger, fried chicken, and a craft beer. The food here is always consistently good, and I’ve never ended up with something I didn’t enjoy. The DUCKFATFRIEDCHICKEN here is spot-on. The skin is crispy, and the chicken is juicy and flavorful– never dry! The duck fat really adds that extra layer of flavor. The Duck fat fried CHICKENANDWAFFLES aren’t in season anymore(but they might have it available during brunch hours). I was bummed when they didn’t have this for dinner, but I’m kind of glad they didn’t. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have tried the duck fat chicken dinner plate, which came with the BEST cornbread ever!(I asked for hot sauce and maple syrup on the side… best decision ever! haha). This corn bread had a kick to it because they used green hatch chilis… genius! This also comes with your choice of a side. You can never go wrong with the DUCKFATFRIES, which are super fresh, crisp, and come with a homemade truffle aioli and homemade ketchup. This dinner is only $ 22 and comes with ½ a chicken, so this is perfect for 2 people(unless you’s a fatty). Another favorite here of mine is the crow’s BLACKLABELBURGER. This is made with 21 day dry aged prime rib eye, served with bonemarrow butter(zomg) and caramelized onions, all on a soft brioche bun. Such simple and minimal ingredients, but oh-so-perffffect! The burger is a little on the oily side, but that’s all that delicious bone marrow butter… yum! This doesn’t come with any sides, so be sure to add some to your order. The FRENCHDIPSANDWICH is a bit different from what I’m used to ordering– this is made with thin slices of prime rib(like thin brisket, or roast beef) instead of one thick slab of prime rib. This was tasty, but I actually prefer my prime rib to be a bit more rare(this was well done). Be sure to ask for horseradish sauce on the side! I love that they have a different Daily Grilled Cheese posted on the black chalkboard– I ordered a delicious GRILLEDCHEESESANDWICH made with a havarti cheese, duck salami, and some sort of sweet fruit marmalade. Solid. GRILLEDARTICHOKES make a perfect(and healthy) appetizer. These artichoke halves are seasoned and grilled to perfectly, and served with a lemon aioli. CHARCUTERIE here is surprisingly put together very nicely. They carry an assortment of imported cheeses and meats. My favorite meats are the duck salami and the jamon serrano. They pair nicely with beer as well as wine! :P The only dessert that I’ve tried here is the BUTTERSCOTCHANDSALTEDCARAMELPOTAUCREME. I’m a big fan of anything butterscotch, salted, and budino-like consistency. This wasn’t overly sweet, and I love the little pieces of butterscotch brittle on top. If you’re a big craft beer fan, you’ll love it here– they have an awesome selection of crafts beers and IPAs from all around the world. They also make great cocktails here– the old fashioned here is awesome. I’m not a fan of bloody mary’s but I actually like the one they make here! :O They also have daily specials for each day of the week, check them out!

Casual & friendly with a simple elegance, the Crow Bar was starting to hop on Thursday around 5PM — «peeps» walkin in. They have a nice happy hour menu — off that we ordered the truffle fries — a large basket — good value and good tasting too! Crow burger off the main menu was really good — horseradish havarti cheese, caramelized onion & bacon jam, beer mustard, hydrocress, brioche bun. Can’t miss burger«peeps! A variety of craft beer and wine was on most every table and at the bar as everyone was chit chatting in the happy hour. Like the brew choices too! Diverse menu to try! Been here many times with my wife and always walked out satisfied. Servers on the ball — as the crow flies!

The whole experience was mediocre at best, and that’s to be kind. The restaurant is located right across from Gulfstream and in a row of restaurants in Cdm. The interior décor is like a glorified school cafeteria, lacking any taste, or attention to details. Everything looks like it came from Costco, and the contractor was just doing the plainest and most average job. We got a table in the corner, and our waiter came over and answered our questions. He was very nice. The menu consists of a couple of classic items, and a whole list of craft beer, each costing $ 6 or more: pricey even for this area. We opted to get 2 different lunch sandwiches, which are all a la carte and all costing more than $ 13 each, the fries or any sides are $ 5 or more each. Even Umami Burger or one of the gourmet burger joints in the area does not charge such high prices. The food came out, and they were decent tasting but definitely can’t compete with the other gourmet burger joints in the area. The fries were soggy and not very good. I did like the blue cheese dip which came with the fries and I asked for more of it because it came in a tiny portion, and at the end of the meal I was charged extra for the dip. wow! The service was also mediocre, drinks not refilled. Lunch was over $ 60 and the food was definitely not worth it. Not coming back and do not recommend.

Duck Fat Fried Chicken and Waffles($ 17) is served with maple butter and crow hot sauce. The exterior is golden brown and crispy. The duck fat flavor is definitely apparent and adds a richness to the chicken. The chicken is tender and juicy. The waffle is pretty good, but adding the maple butter and syrup makes it a winner. The hot sauce gives it a spicy kick to get you going on a Sunday morning. Rating: 4.8÷5 The Crow«Black Label» Burger($ 19) is an 8 oz. signature blend beef patty(including 21 day dry aged prime ribeye) served on a brioche bun with bone marrow butter, and caramelized onions. The burger patty is juicy and meaty. The bone marrow butter adds a creamy richness to the burger and caramelized onions add sweetness. The brioche bun is soft yet sturdy and holds the juices in the burger. Add a side of duck fat fries. The fries have a crispy exterior and kettle chip flavor with a soft, fluffy interior. Rating: 4.8÷5 «Smores»($ 10) is a graham cracker cake topped with milk chocolate and toasted marshmallow ice cream. The cake has a solid texture, almost like cornbread. It has an in-your-face graham cracker flavor. The marshmallow ice cream is creamy, fluffy, and tastes like ice cold marshmallow crème. Hershey’s chocolate mini bars are at room temperature so it is slightly soft for a melt-in-your-mouth s’mores experience. All that is missing is a little bit of burned sugar! Rating: 3.5÷5

Are you into impressing but not having to dress for the occasion? Cool, me either. My friends and I decided to come here for a birthday and have a few drinks and we realized that the crow bar was exactly what we were looking for. Special enough for a birthday low key enough to not completely dress up. Black label burger was amazing. It was pretty fatty because of that special meat blend but accompanied by delicious sides such as duck fat fries and a garlic aioli or a small salad. Fuuuggg I can’t get over it. The crow burger is pretty good too. I’m not sure of the mayo was in house made but I felt like it was a bit excessive in flavor. Service was pretty good considering we were in the underground private room by ourselves with a party of 10 – 14. I really wish the music was at an appropriate level for a bar and grill but I’m just being a grandma I guess. The joint itself is pretty clean. Bathrooms are shared between men and women and need to be checked often. I had to let our server know on two separate occasions that they were all urinated all over and trashed. You’d think people in a nice area would be a bit more clean but I guess not. Parking wasn’t the best but if you’re going on a late night hang then you’ll be fine. Never pay for parking!!! Each burger costs about $ 18+ Ipas are about $ 7+ Shots can range from $ 12-$ 230(baller!!) In total, our bill was quite expensive. Only 4 out of the 10 – 14 were drinking and all of us got burgers and our bill came out to about $ 350. I think the pricing of everything could be a bit more affordable considering the portion size but you do get quality.
