Bear Alignment & Brake Service

It was my first time there– I made an appointment 2 days in advance for an alignment. The service was fast, the staff was very capable and courteous. Very no-​pressure salesmanship and informative too.

My wife brought my 07 mustang here on America’s tire’s recommendation, after I rebuilt the suspension and had Michelin tires installed at America’s tire. The guys at Bear were great to my wife.
Lake Elsinore ford botched my alignment a month before, where the inner part of my front tire went bald after ford did the work, even after I rebuilt my suspension, (new tie rods, ball joints, struts & spring assemblies). This took about one years life off of my tires and caused me to replace them.
Bear said ford failed to adjust the new camber adjustment kits I had installed, even though I specifically told ford to do so.
My car is now aligned perfectly, it corners quite well and turns on a dime, much better than when new!

I don’t always get my car serviced but when I do, I come here! I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Been coming here since 2003. I drive all the way from LA to come here. The staff is super knowledgeable. Paul, the shop’s manager is always great! He explains everything that it needs and in great detail. He’s like the car doctor. I came in told him what noise I’m hearing when I drive and right away knew what it was. Paul is really honest with you if you can wait to get something or can get it for cheaper elsewhere he will tell you. Or if you come in and say you need something done and when they check your car it’s really something else he will tell you. They are also really good about telling you if they notice you will need something eventually. Great place! Highly recommend it.

I came here to get my brakes fixed and I was not disappointed! Usually, I always feel like mechanics are lying to me to try and take advantage of the fact that I don’t much about cars, but this place is different. They are honest, and will try their best to work with you. I even saw one of the employees showing some clients what was wrong with the car, and what it needed to be doing by taking the time to show there customer. I personally did not ask for that experience, because I wouldn’t have know the difference anyways. When I got in my car after getting my brakes, and other maintenance things done, it felt like a whole new car! The brakes also include a two year warranty. I definitely would go back, and recommend this place to anyone who asked.

Beware of the positive reviews they have, I don’t think they are even real. This place is terrible! I came in for an alignment before and all they tried to do was up sell you! They want you to spend as much money as possible and Customer service sucks! Anyways, I told them to just to do the alignment and a few hours later I was happy to finally be able to leave. Another reason I would never come back to this place or recommend them is because they never did the alignment! I had to go to my friends shop in Long Beach because it was still pulling and he checked the data they gave me and checked my car and he told me they didn’t do anything.

Dropped my car off at 10 appointment called 3 times to see if it even needed a brake job even then kept getting the run around. Finally got Jose on the phone at 2pm he informed me I was disturbing his lunch but he would talk to me anyway he then told me i would need a new wheel baring. I asked why, and he then said maybe he should speak to my husband about it. So RUDE, anyway i ended up getting the wheel baring and brakes on the front and spent 450.00. Which wouldnt be a problem but I had to call at 4:30 to even ask if my truck was ready for pick up. My husband was going to spend 700.00 doing his brakes and rotars on his Cadillac but we will never bring one of our vehicles here. Customer service is everything guys. Horrible, oh and they go back and fourth on prices you wont know what you pay until you pick it up.

my alignment was horrible after i changed my control arms, ball joints and wheel bearings (myself), the steering wheel wouldnt center itself after turning a corner and the tires were screeching driving in a straight line. took my car to BEAR to get the alignment done. They were booked for the entire day but managed to squeeze me in their schedule. and in about 40 minutes, my car was already done and everything was as good as new! i highly recommend this place. its a bit crowded (as expected as they do a great job) but its well worth the time and trip! A++++

Paul and the guys at Bear take great care of all my trucks. One time I strayed from using them for a job and had to have my truck towed to another mechanic, it was one of the most costly mistakes I’ve made. Needless to say the guys at Bear cleaned up the mess the other guy made and gave me an excellent deal. It’s such a blessing to find good honest shops like this especially when you have vehicles that seem to always need work done.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. In a world of unscrupulous auto repair shops it’s reassuring to know someone is still running a customer centric business with ethics and integrity. I’ve been chasing a problem with my truck for almost a year. I took it to Paul and after an hour on the rack he said the alignment/​tolerances were within spec and the problem is probably related to the tires. It would have been real easy to say he made a minor adjustment and charged me, or swapped some parts and charged me. But he did the right thing and gave me an honest answer. Take your vehicles to Bear with confidence, they will do the right thing.

Bear Alignment is the best alignment I’ve ever gotten! I took my car with half an inch of clearance from the ground and all the wheels were out of wack. The car is on full coilovers and they spent the time to align everything to my likings with no comments from them. Now my car that was previously driving horrible drives straighter then it ever has! A++++ for all the guys at this place. I know have a forever home for all my alignment needs! Thanks again guys

1000 stars if I could because they fixed a HUGE mistake caused by brake masters in Norco, CA. See my review on their crappy «business». Don’t ever go to brake masters in Norco unless you like to waste money and get treated like shit. They half-​assed my truck because they wanted to go home early that night, (still during business hours). Jeff took me down in the pit and showed me my inner and outer tie rods, my control arms and what each component does that’s involved in the alignment process. Very HONEST guy. Dan did my alignment and he dialed it in perfectly. My truck does not pull to the left or right. straight as an arrow Sherrie is the office manager who expedited my appointment. Paul is the man. He took care me from start to finish. They would not let me leave until the truck was absolutely perfect, which was about an hour and a half start to finish. Quality service, great prices and HONEST. They didn’t try to up-​sell me on anything or tell me I have something wrong that wasn’t. They actually took the time to show me what was going on. Nobody does that anymore

Great company great work and great prices! I’ve been coming here for many years with customized vehicles, (lifted/​lowered cars and trucks) Paul and his guys are awesome! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

These guys know what they are doing. They will not sell you stuff you don’t need. I bring my cars here and never had an issue.

When I first came to this place I honestly thought I was getting a great deal on my alignment for my car ($ 55) versus other places that charge $ 60-​$ 80.
As soon as they i inspected my car they had told me I needed more than just an alignment, which I figured because months early I had hit the curb pretty bad. They came to a conclusion that my left inner and outer tie rod ends were completely broken. And gave me many other things that my car needed work on such the regular/​caster-​alignment ($ 587 TOTAL).
A couple days later I went down jurupa to a place called Mission Discount Tires, they inspected my car and came to the conclusion that my lower control arm was broken and that I just needed fresh tires, alignment, and a camber kit… And that my tie end rods on both sides were perfectly fine!
Completely different from what bears told me and was significantly cheaper ($ 350)
Basically, I wouldn’t perfer going here because I relied on this shop to give me a true inspection and they just tried to rip me off.

As an Insurance Agent and family man, protecting my family is #1 priority. I trust Tim and his staff to protect the vehicles that carry my precious cargo. They are genuine and do a wonderful job!

Working with Paul and his crew over the last three years on all of my vehicles with nothing but excellent service is has been a blessing and a relief of having a great mechanic take care of my cars.

I can not even give Paul and his team enough AWESOME STARS! My mom and daughter drove down from San Francisco over the weekend. Two hours into the drive the A/​C is not working.
To have mom (80+ years) in the car that long and her pup was truly a difficult drive in that HEAT!
My family was leaving Tuesday EARLY morning back to SF and on a time constraint. Needless to say, Paul had the car up and running by Monday evening! They enjoyed the A/​C all the way home. YAYYYY!
They are super accomodating and do EXCELLENT work. It is a pleasure to know they care about the customers AND their autos.

Paul and the guys are awesome. Honest, no frills kind of shop. Brought my car in for an alignment and they tried to get it aligned but the tie-​rod ends were seized from being an east-​coast car. His guys worked on it with heat, leverage and penetrating oil for an hour before telling me they couldn’t do it. I busted out my wallet and he said it’s not aligned so no charge.
I ordered some inner and outer tie-​rods that night from pelican parts, installed them the next day and was back at Bear the following day. Service was again, prompt, polite and quick. Ran down the street to grab lunch and came back 30 minutes later to a perfectly driving and aligned car. $ 55 and i was on my way. Great dudes and i will be referring people to this shop.

Bear Alignment and its Manager Paul are the example of what a honest, Professional mechanic shop should try to emulate.
After 5 or 6 trips there for everything from Brakes to a complete Differential rebuild, these guys are the best. fair (not cheep) prices are what you can expect. Good mechanics are not cheep. they are fair and don’t charge for work not done. I highly recommend this busness. Greg H
