My favorite store… has everything and a wonderful staff who are eager to help you! I love their seasonal cooking goodies and look forward to using my coupons when the catalog arrives at my door. Online, you can look up their delicious recipes. Close to Trader Joes too!

First time here. Loved everything they have, I couldn’t afford so many items but items on sale are affordable, a lot of useful items. Also a lot of variety of items. Small store but packed with so many things. Nice and helpful workers there to assist you. They offer you coffee while you shop. Will definitely shop here for specialty items for the kitchen.

Sur La Table is a well known brand, but the reason they became well known is probably because they had an excellent combination of great products and great service. I have stopped shopping at several other retailers who claimed to be in the higher end arena because they don’t deliver on the service side of things. Firstly, when I’m shopping at a «high end» store, I should be inspired by your staff’s knowledge or ability to point me in the right direction and ensure I have what I want. You get that with Sur La Table. NOT with some other competitors. Specifically, this location has helped me out of a jam now a couple of times. Most recently tonight, when I needed something at the last minute that had me driving from Temecula to Corona. Judy(who may be the store manager) was incredibly helpful, pleasant and actually pointed me in the right direction to find a suitable(even better than what I came for) alternative to a specialty product. She went above and beyond the call of duty and she knew her product well. Her simple gesture really helped me out. I’m definitely a customer at this location forever. If you need high end culinary/kitchen/food stuffs and equipment, the slight premium you pay on(only) some items is well worth it, as you get a bunch more value in the staff and the resources available. It’s also a low volume store, so shopping is mellower and you get time to really figure out what you need. It is in the Dos Lagos center just north of Trader Joe’s(a couple hundred yards). You don’t come here for gimmicky baking pans you can get at 79% off at Marshall’s. You come here for legit cooking utensils, high end food related items and great brands. You get what you pay for. And if you’re serious about your gear, you prefer to shop at Sur La Table.

Another huge, nicely designed store at Dos Lagos. Parking right out front, a huge selection of items for the home, perfect gifts and stocking stuffers. Very nice, helpful staff, always fun to have a look. Most items are more than I like to spend but they do have specials and a clearance section worth checking out.

1st, don’t go by the Map provided on Unilocal. This little shop IS located IN the Dos Lagos Shoping Mall not across the street in the residential complex. 2nd, don’t ask the clerks where they are located… followed #1 and got lost(thanks Unilocal), so onto step #2 and called for directions. Explained that I was lost following Unilocal directions, I’m not from this area, so could she please verify the street address. Can you believe, she had NO idea what the address is… are you kidding me? what? Then she proceeds to tell me that I need to exit the 15 and take a right onto Retreat Parkway, and left onto Temescal Canyon Road. Yes, darlin’ but I’m not coming from the 15 South! Oi! I came down from 15 North and, yes, I’m already on surface streets. She finally finds another clerk(I can hear them talking in the background) who doesn’t know the address either, but«…we’re next to the bakery called Crème de la something.» OMG! Who hires and trains these people? Someone finally says«we’re behind TGI Friday’s». By this time, I’m so frustrated and hot and tired, I turn around and head back to my sister’s house extremely irritated. I haven’t given up hope for Sur, I just plan to go down to the one in Irvine or Costa Mesa and never to this one!

I could stay in here all day. They have every tool, gadget, cookware, etc… that you could think of for the kitchen. The lady who helped me today was Julie and was so friendly & helpful.

Standard run of the mill Sur La Table but they seem to have more of a clearance section than other locations. Perhaps less bargain shoppers or less foot traffic? You get a $ 10 coupon when you sign up for their mailing list at the register. I don’t know if you get it if you sign up on your own online. $ 10 off of $ 10 purchase = WIN! I picked up a Kitchen Aid attachment. They never go on sale!

Sometimes it’s worth paying extra, especially when the service is great. I encountered two very knowledgeable sales associates at Sur La Table. They both answered all my questions about knives and cleaning my espresso machine. The store is filled with all sorts of great items for cooking, an amateur chefs dream. I found myself entranced contemplating what to buy next. Even though I don’t need a thing. That’s the sign of a well stocked store with great sales people. I’ll be back sooner then I really need to, I’m sure of it.

Mr. B would visit here every day, if he could. Me, I’d let him, but on the condition he cooked for me every night. He could, you know. He already has a well stocked kitchen and nearly every Food Network cooking show recorded and protected for future reference. My promise is empty though. He still loves to go out and eat. And my job is to use Unilocal to find him all our great spots. But that’s another review. He has a very unhealthy fascination for the knife section. He thinks everytime he goes in there, he can talk me into buying him another Shun knife. Well, that hasn’t happened… yet. But admittedly, his Kramer Shun sure does cut nicely. And that is why he ended up having the two beauties he already has. I think he is one lucky guy. Until you have tried this kind of knife, you just haven’t lived. And Sur la Table carries the whole set, for maybe a couple grand. I do let him window shop and bring along a towel to clean up the drool. So, the rest of the store is drool worthy, too. Over the years we have frequented this store, and always leave, smiling happily with our treasures, big and small. And we have the wisdom to know what things can be bought elsewhere for less. Staff are always so nice. Love getting a freebie sample coffee from their Keurig machine. Love the clearance shelves in the back. I always have to check them before I leave. And, I really do believe, you get what you pay for. Especially when it comes to most kitchen paraphernalia. The good stuff lasts and lasts, while the cheapo cracks, breaks, melts, or otherwise under performs. That is why we will continue to visit the Happiest Place on Earth of cookery. And maybe another Shun will be in his future. Shhhh. Don’t tell.

Sur la Table: I’m sorry for ever belittling you and thinking you were inferior to your friend and competitor, Williams-Sonoma. Sure, you’re not as «fancy» but you have a lot to offer. And I’m growing awfully fond of you lately. *smooches* Your Fan, Kristine G.

Great selection of kitchen ‘stuff.’ They have lots of high end and difficult to find items for the kitchen, unfortunately they are over priced. I often find the same items for less else ware.
