Brunch is amazing! Thank you Hector and Jesus for the wonderful service. Our party was here for brunch at 10:15 and they let us stay for 3 hours. They moved our seating due to a reservation, but they were very accommodating with the service afterwards. Thank you!

Taps is a great place for a higher end dinner option in Corona. Excellent steaks and fish. The oyster bar is a fantastic option. The service is always top notch. The ambiance is varied. The dining room is quiet and polished. The bar area is usually lively. There is an outstanding patio close to the lakes. This is an excellent choice.

I am a regular at Taps and they always provide a great experience when dinning at the restaurant or bar. The quality of food is always good, the variety beer is always great and the service is continually top notch. When you go to Taps you know what to expect and you will get good food and great service every time. Hector and staff always make sure we are well taken care of in Corona!

Ok. I NEVER write reviews. However, Tonight … I received the worst service Ive had at any restaurant. I just had to take the time to write this review #1 safety hazard… To begin, i am an environmental safety specialist… While we were waiting for our food, a family of raccoons came out of the bushes onto the patio. The staff stated that they are friendly and harmless. However, the manager stated that they are from the sewer. Seriously?! Unless you are OK with sewer rodents walking around while you are eating your meal, def not cool(please look at photo i had shared). We asked to move to a table inside but they mentioned that we would have to wait about an hour! And that there was nothing we can do about it. #2 Staff. After the third visit from the raccoons, we got up to leave but … the manager ALLOF A SUDDEN said there was another table to move Us to. The staff all gave us dirty looks for having problems with the creatures. They were not apologetic at all. Could not believe it. #3 service. It took over 30 minutes for the chick to bring us a basket of bread. We had to ask her at least three times until she finally remembered to bring it over. We also asked for a round of water… 15 minutes. Also, she did not bother to come by our table to ask how the food was #4 food. We heard great things about their food. The bread and pasta was delicious. However, the meatballs were dry. The macaroni and cheese was bland and dry. And the fish… DRY… Come on… Its a fish house… Anyways, like i said, i never write reviews, but after tonights service, i couldn’t resist. So disappointed.

Went with a medium sized group. Was given a private room. The food was superb. The grilled artichoke appetizer was to die for. I could have eaten three of those alone. Rib eye was cooked to my liking and the crème brule was perfect. I was stuffed! My husband said he’s had the best beer he’s ever had at this restaurant. Can’t wait to go back!

I ordered the halibut special and it was overcooked. Our waiter rarely came back to check on us. My girlfriends jambalaya was a very nice portion(one of the highlights). The beer was on the pricey side(7.50). Our drinks ran empty before he took our order for another round(a cardinal sin). Not worth a $ 120 bill.

We went here last night and we’re very unhappy with the whole thing. I ordered a cheese burher medium well(which I think the waitress was bummed because she was insisting I got the lobster tail) and it came out charred .and the frys over cooked… I asked the waitress if this was medium well and she said I guess not and went ahead to make me a new one. my the time my next burger came my girlfreind was finished eating. when the burger finally arrived I got into the middle and it was almost raw. the waitress asked me how it was and I said again is this medulium well and she said we turned it down since you didn’t like it before… last time I checked med well was a very mild pink center some times all cooked but not charred… I ate my burger that was still mooring because at this point I was hungry… the bill came and I saw that I was charged $ 9 for a salad that I specifically asked if it was cheaper to add it on to the meal and she said yes. the only good part of the meal was my gf clam chowder soup… Finally I payed the bill and it took like q5 mins to get change for my $ 100 bill. I’ve been here before and had a decent meal. but they need to step it up alot

Sunday brunch again with the man. Seated on the patio outside where noise level was much more manageable. As before, the buffet is amazing and fresh as is the made to order area. Only downfall was the shrimp on the Bloody Mary skewer… it was smelly and clearly had gone bad. YUCK!

SUNDAYBRUNCH! If you only go here once in your life, go for Sunday Fun-Day Brunch(and mimosas, obviously)! Dinner and lunch here are, ok, they have a decent variety of food during the week that everyone can find one thing they’d like. Those nights I typically find myself ordering the oven chicken which tends to be on the dry side but it’s good. They do have a full service bar but my inner beer snob is severely disappointed in their beer selection. Since they brew their own beer, they do not serve any other brewerys’ beer. To make it worse, their beer is mediocre at best. The saving grace of this place is Sunday Brunch.(Have I mentioned Sunday brunch enough yet or should I emphasize it some more…) The variety of their Sunday brunch is crazy: waffles, hashbrowns, street tacos(my favorite), pizza, pasta, sushi, oysters, desserts galore with a freaking fondue fountain(are you kidding me!!) Then, to top it all off, the mimosas just keep flowing, or you can order one of their hearty bloody marys so you can get in your daily dose of veggies. ;D If you do decide to come here for brunch,(or any other time) be sure to make reservations! They do tend to get a few large groups so waiting ~1 hour is not uncommon. In short, make reservations, go to brunch, and opt for a mixed drink instead of the beer.

This review is for their Thanksgiving buffet only. Usually my sister and I host Thanksgiving dinner but this year we just weren’t feeling up to the cooking and cleaning so suggested that maybe we do a restaurant Thanksgiving. There were no objections from the family so we did a little research and this place seemed to have good offerings for the price($ 44 per adult, $ 15 per child – not sure of age restrictions). I’d never been to this area of Corona before but it’s quite nice, and this TAPS location is really huge, much bigger than the original Brea one and overlooks a picturesque lake. They’d decorated the place for the holidays and it looked very festive and classy; I liked the music they were playing too – a lot of jazz standards stuff. Once we checked in with the front desk we were seated right away and from there the service and food were really top-notch. Our table was closer to the bar area, which had the more seafood-centric offerings, everything from sushi(mostly rolls, but OK) and oysters, shrimp and ceviche, along with charcuterie and cheese stations, a fresh pasta station(linguini with pesto and clams, YUM) and the dessert station(crème brûlée was great). They had a whole another buffet area in the other dining room with had the more traditional Thanksgiving offerings, like turkey, ham, prime rib, stuffing, mashed potatoes, etc etc. We all thought the selection and quality for the price was awesome, and the servers were really great too – all were friendly and courteous, clearing away plates in a timely manner and helping us out with drink orders and other special requests. Everyone came away relaxed and happy, which is really all you can ask for during any family holiday outing. I don’t know what they’re like during regular dining occasions, but they have this holiday buffet thing nailed. I definitely wouldn’t mind coming back. STEPHJUDGEMENT: Their Thanksgiving buffet gets high marks for selction, quality, and service.

I was totally disappointed and should have listened to the reviews. The Jambalaya dish came with two cornmeal coated shrimp, had a heavy seasoned sauce with bits of overcooked chicken and tons of bellpeppers and onions. It’s a hard sell to call this dish a «southern» anything. NEED I say more? The beef rib was over cooked and we sent it back. Much better cut with the replacement. The combo soup and the lettuce wedge were what you would expect for starters. I am pretty sure that is our last dining experience at this restaurant. For the price of dinner and drinks $ 99.00 I was terribly disappointed.

Having always gone to the Brea location for years, we decided to venture off at try the Corona location. The Taps in Corona is located in a plaza occupied with shops and restaurants. For a Fri night the wait was only 25 min for a party of two. We recieved a text when our table was ready. Our hostess was friendly and escorted us to our seats even allowing us to change our table to a bigger one without an issue. The server was just as friendly and very personable. We ordered the Shrimp Christopher and Ribeye steak accompanied with asparagus and mashed potatoes. The Shrimp Christopher is shrimp baked with a combination of crab meat and fish. Its really tasty and a customer favorite. The ribeye steak was cooked medium and extremely flavorful. I enjoyed everything to the last bite. Food was great, service was good and prices are affordable. I’ve been coming to Taps for years and will continue doing so. It remains one of my favorite restaurants.

My wife and I came for Sunday brunch and it was one of our favorite dining experiences. The spread was delicious, the bottomless mimosas were flowing, and the wait staff was friendly and attentive. The price was also pretty darn reasonable at 35 a head. We love taps for dinner but now we have another reason to come on Sunday afternoons.

We grabbed an outdoor seat. Beautiful views out there and it’s a bit more private seating. Happy Hour was on, so we ordered the ceviche appetizer and a Martguerita Pizza to share. Our waitress was prompt to greet us and helped us order quickly. Mixed drinks were strong and well flavored. Total bang for your buck! The appetizer took a while to come out and the final meal a bit long too. The food itself was completely amazing and I can honestly say it was worth the wait. I would definitely say I would love to return and explore their menu more thoroughly!

This restaurant is more on the pricier end… It is located in dos Lagos and is a pretty classy restaurant. This is my 3rd time here and each experience averages out about 3 stars. This last experience was definitely very ‘ehhh’. We ordered the cream ale, hefeweizen, Irish red, and Poseidon beers. My cream ale was good, very smooth. I traded with my friend and I got his hefeweizen. I normally like hefeweizen’s but this one tasted really gross. I barely managed to drink ½ my cup. It had a buttery aftertaste that made me feel bloated after drinking it. We ordered the ceviche and stuffed mushroom appetizer, for my entrée I got the ahi tuna. I tried bits of the miso marinated sea bass and the drunken mahi mahi. The tuna and sea bass were very juicy and tasty. The mahi mahi was extremely dry, but luckily it was paired with Spanish rice and salsa so it moistened it up. My tuna entrée came with steamed broccoli and carrots with grilled peppers and some type of mayo sauce laid down on the plate under all the tuna pieces. If you’re not a big fan of creaminess I would recommend omitting the sauce from your order. It was strong and tasted like mayo… I took all my tuna and broccoli out. It really ruined the dish for me. But I would like to point out that the tuna was cooked very well! I definitely enjoyed it. The ceviche appetizer was decent. Very thick and you can tell the shrimp was not fresh. The stuffed mushroom was absolutely delicious. It was stuffed with crab. Comes out with 4 pieces. Our server was nice and checked on us a couple of times throughout the night. The food was decent, nothing memorable and I feel like for the price you’re paying the food should be better and of higher quality. What disgusted me most about this nice/fancy restaurant was how unsanitary and dirty thee restrooms were. I felt gross simply just washing my hands before dinner. They really need to clean it more often. Dirty restrooms sicken me. If you can’t keep your restrooms clean what can you keep clean?

I can’t believe I haven’t reviewed this place before. This is the go-to good restaurant in South Corona. A group from my office comes here often for happy hour. They have many beer selections as well as a full bar for mixed drinks and a great wine list. The appetizers are tasty and large enough to share which is great because if you’re out on the patio your friends are more than likely to walk by and grab a snack as they talk to all the interesting people that hang out there. If you’ve never been I highly recommend coming for the brunch it is absolutely scrumptious! There is a seafood bar where the shrimp are plentiful and the ceviche is fresh and popping with great tomato flavor. Of course there is the requisite omelette bar, Mexican bar, dessert bar, and breakfast bar. The cheese bar and hummus was a nice addition to the traditional brunch. The mimosas are cold and free-flowing. Consider getting the extra order of beignets. They really add something to the breakfast. I’ve had quite a few of the dinner selections but the one that stands out to me that I had most recently was the ribs. They were so flavorful and rich that I couldn’t eat more than half of the order. The sides were good, But unremarkable. Definitely make sure you grab one of their beers with dinner.

We came here for Sunday brunch to celebrate my brother’s birthday. The service was good, but the food was pretty average here. We were impressed by how large the buffet was. While my son had the pancakes, eggs, bacon, fruit, and other breakfast items, the rest of us tried the prime rib, fried calamari, pasta, Caesar salad, and each one of the desserts. My favorite part of the meal was trying all the desserts. The chocolate covered strawberries, cheesecake, chocolate moose, and pecan pie were all delicious. While the desserts were good, the prime rib wasn’t. We were a bit disappointed when we were given such small pieces of fatty meat. While the dessert bar was wonderful, the rest of the food seemed mediocre for the price. At $ 31.95 per person(even for a child’s meal), we were expecting more. I think the food was just a tad boring here. I’m so glad we made reservations because the restaurant was so crowded for brunch. Service was a bit slow in the beginning but became much better as our meal progressed. I think the wait staff needed a few more employees to handle the huge brunch crowd. Although we usually like TAPs, I think we’ll stick to going to the restaurant for it’s consistently great lunch and dinner menus.
