KFC and a Taco Bell location. I have been visiting since 2009 and find this location super busy but super consistent with their quality and costumer service.
Today’s visit wasn’t anything special but noticed as I read for Unilocal reviews and the trend is to write how they feel at the moment. And what I feel at the moment is that the costumer service and food quality is what you expect from any fast food restaurant if the service is quick and cheap it’s good to say they deserve 5 stars.
We dined in and had no issues with the cleanliness or seating.

Chula Vista, CA
One late night in May 2000 before a friend’s wedding, some buddies and I stopped by. It was a little before closing time. The staff had several buckets worth of cooked chicken that was unbought. Instead of doing the arduous process of de-​boning, they hooked us up with free food. They threw in a bunch of sides too. what a feast lol! It was glorious!

We came after the post rush lunch, which may explain why our chicken was way greasier and less fresh than I remember KFC being (though maybe I’m wrong, it’s been years since I’ve eaten KFC). Service was fast and the restroom and tables were pretty clean. I just can’t get past how dry and greasy the chicken was though.

KFC wasn’t as good as I remembered. The stars come for restaurant bring clean and thee service good. The lack of stars is because the food just was not as good as I seem to remember.

Slow service. No sense of urgency. Go elsewhere. Waited 15minutes for 2 tacos and 3 chicken wings. It’s really slow. Bad.

This is only good because its the only one on Coronado island. Then again why come here when there is much more better for to eat on the island.
*it feeds hungry sailors just before they go onto base for that late shift.

This is a nice clean KFC/​Taco Bell on the island. It’s literally 1 block from my house and I’ve only been here four times. That’s called discipline. Because if you like fat kid food like I do, there’s no better fast food experience than running for the border and being greeted by the colonel and his top secret recipe.
This place does tend to be packed between 11 – 1 during the weekdays but it’s a ghost town after 6pm.

Sherman Oaks, CA
I love the KFC/​Taco Bell combo. Gives you a bigger selection if you are coming here with a group. My family and I always come here for special occasions (holidays, mother’s/ father’s day, birthdays) hehe. It’s the only time I can endulge in KFC, yum! Even though it’s «fast food,» it’s set in a nice location in Coronado, and it’s convenient. It’s right next to the Ferry’s Landing and close to the shops near there. Also close to an area where you can see a nice view of the skyline of downtown San Diego. It’s the go-​to place for me and my family. :)
