Worst Subway ever. Bread is never fresh. Ingredients, puff, they count everything: the pickles, the olives etc. I can’t eat cheese so I asked for no cheese at all and asked instead for double tomatoes. They wanted me to pay for the double tomatoes, can you believe it? Meat is also not fresh. Check out the meat cuts before ordering. Again, I rather drive to Imperial Beach to get a sandwich at Subway!

Food was fine but had horrible experience. I hope the owner reads this… I went to Subway today with my son and his friend. My son accidentally left his iphone on the counter. We left, he realized he didn’t have it. I searched for it on «Find iPhone» saw that it was still at Subway. I called within ½ an hour of leaving asking if they(2 middle eastern men were working at the time) had found the phone or if someone had turned it in, the man that answered said no. He suggested I call it. I immediately locked the phone and added a message to the screen with my info to contact me if found. I did call but no one answered. I decided to go back to search for it since it was still showing me on the map the same location. We went back, once inside I approached the counter asking the younger man about the phone. I even described it but he said no, that they didn’t see it or no one had turned it in, that I was welcomed to look around. I also showed him that the map showed it there. I was about to leave, a customer saw my frustration and suggested I play the sound. I played the sound multiple times because we heard it. The sound came from the kitchen! They had my sons phone!!! Both men looked at each other, and the younger one went to get it. He then showed it to us, asking if that was the phone. I was appalled(still appalled) he had had the nerve to lie to me. He pretended he didn’t know. I was furious at their despicable and dishonest behavior.

I’ve been a regular at this subway for almost 4 years now, not because they are the best subway I’ve ever been to, but because they are conveniently located near my place of work. This spot is clean and the staff is attentive to their customers. The only thing I hate is that they try to skimp me on the Spanish every single time I go. So make sure to ask for more if you are not satisfied with their measured portions. Also, the parking is metered and the Coronado cops will give you a ticket if your meter is expired so watch out. FYI parking is impossible in Coronado all summer long so good luck if that’s when you’re trying to visit this subway.

Most Subways are the same here as they are there. This one seemed smaller to me, though. Meh. After you order, you can walk to the beach and eat there. Until the seagulls arrive. The service is quick and friendly. And they can joke around. J and I split a foot long, and when we were asked what kind of cheese, he said«‘Murican». The employee stopped making our sandwich, looked up, and said, «I can’t believe you just said that.» Laughter ensued. The only real complaint I have is that there’s this huge supporting pillar in the middle of the sandwich bar. It gets in the way and I think its in a very inconvenient place. Don’t think anything can be done about that, though.

This place always greets me as soon as I enter the store weather busy or not. Then to top it off they don’t go shy on the toppings. Always a smile, greeting, and plenty of veggies. Can’t complain. See you for lunch!

Great Subway! Sometimes long lines during rush hours. Very fast, efficient and nice. I get a meatball sub every time. Never disappointed.

this subway sucks compared to other subways. its cause it’s in coronado. they don’t load up the sandwiches at all, they are very slim. usually the bread is burnt, they always over-bake the bread. the only consistent sandwich is the italian BMT and the cookies are consistent. Other subways are def much better… but if u have no other choice, this will have to suffice

I am not a patron of Subway. I think the quality is horrible and I am not a fan. It is a place I rarely eat but I found myself on Coronado island at a convention at 9:50 pm and this was the only place open ’til 10 pm. Normally places will shut down and refuse to serve customers if they walk in less than 10 minutes before closing, but when I got here at 9:52, the girl mopping the floors said she’d be delighted to serve me! What a positive attitude! She had already closed up the sandwich fixin’s but was willing to help me in any way she could. I wanted a salad so she made a salad for me with what was within reach. She could’ve easily turned me away but she didn’t. Bravo to this Subway and their friendly employees!(The food was utter crap, but that’s Subway for you). I’ve giving this place 4 stars just because of the friendly service.

Normally, you cannot go wrong with getting Subway, the ingredients are always the same and the service is always mediocre. This past weekend, my boyfriend and I came here for a bite to eat because we were starving. First of all, the location is really awkward because its in one large building, when you walk past Subway, you are walking past the windows which are on ground level… so you have to walk down the stairs and into the restaurant. Like I said, the service was not special at all. What really ticked me and my boyfriend off, is the final product of our sandwiches. I got a flat-bread sandwich with only bacon, avocado, tomato, lettuce, and onions… really shouldn’t be that hard to fit onto a piece of bread. My boyfriend got a sandwich with a lot of fixins’ but isn’t the staff trained to learn how to compress everything onto the bread? One of the worst things was, when my boyfriend was paying, I was watching the 2 staff members wrap up my order, i saw that the girl had dropped something and looked at the male staff member and they smirked at each other and he said«shh». What the heck! I didn’t want to disrupt their little scheming so I didn’t say anything… luckily I didn’t find an eyeball or anything in my sandwich, but who knows what they dropped then put back… ew Once we had sat down, our sandwiches were SOMESSY it was disgusting, they had wrapped up my boyfriends sandwich upside down so when we opened it, the sandwich came rolling out, messy and unappetizing. Things were falling out all over the place as we attempted to eat. I’m not one to complain so I didn’t, and they staff obviously doesn’t know how to make a clean sub so why would I have asked for a new one? So if you want a messy sandwich and people plotting against you, go into this subway! If not, there are plenty of other little places to eat on this same exact street.

Very well maintained store, and the workers are fast at making torpedo sandwiches. They should offer«chilie» as a side dish along with their soups. Just a thought.

My wife and I were visiting Coronado while in San Diego with my aunt and uncle. We didn’t feel like spending $ 20 a piece for lunch, so we stopped in for some subs at Subway. I ordered the grilled chicken sub and a drink. The service was good and they happily toasted the hoagie. My wife got her favorite, veggies and cheese and she was equally pleased. My aunt and uncle liked their BMT and the four of us got a lunch on Coronado for under $ 20 total!

Good bye meatball sub. You have 550 calories and 24 grams of fat in a 6inch sub… it’s time to part ways. I’m switching to the6″ black forest ham sub that has 330 and 8 grams of fat. Oh yeah, this Subway is right by the beach so it’s perfect to grab a quick sandwich before or after an all day boogie board session.
