I didn’t care for Bill Miller’s at all. I ordered a #9 which is a fried chicken burger type sandwich with fries. The portion was absolutely pathetic, and the sandwich itself consisted of a fried frozen chicken pattie between two pieces of bread and that was it. No lettuce, no tomatoes, no nothing! Just a boring bland piece of fried crap between bread. Will never waste my money here ever again. Go across the street to Rudys. Better food!

Worst bbq I’ve ever eaten! Sauce is disgusting, service is horrible, and no seasoning on anything. Go here if you want to leave hungry.

Just as we’ve known it to be. Consistently fresh! My wife and I both got the Bill Millers Breakfast Platter, fresh tortillas and good ol’ sweet tea! Yum!

The drive through window is nice. I sometimes come here just to avoid the line in Rudys. Family meal; 1 lb of briaket, turkey, chicken, or sausage + 3 sides for $ 20 is tuff to beat.

Decent Bill Millers to get some BBQ. Ok service and good food. They are busy during the lunch hours so try to get there a little earlier to avoid all the rush.

Brisket was good but if I hadn’t read the reviews after eating I would have assumed they swapped the bbq sauce for ketchup — it completely ruined the meal.

I wasn’t quite sure how to rate this place and still be fair but decided the rating should be totally about the BBQ since that’s what type of place it is. Three of us went for lunch. We’ve had fantastic BBQ on our route through Texas. The brisket here was very good. The pinto beans and the rice were very good but the ribs were not good at all. They were flavorless, under-cooked and stuck to the bone. The only sauce was sauce we put on once we sat down. Nope — wouldn’t go here again for ribs at all and probably will not go back to a Bill Miller BBQ.

Consistently good BBQ with prompt friendly service. Faster and healthier than fast food !

0⁄3 stars. It ain’t bbq without the sauce. I wanted to like this place, and but the BBQ sauce is horrible. Everybody I’ve talked to feels the same. Not sure how this establishment stays in business. *I rate all restaurants on the same scale. Some establishments, such as fast food chains have no hope of earning more than 2 stars. Others can earn up to 5, but a 5 would indicate the finest dining experiences I’ve ever had.

I’m not sure where the other reviewers ate, but I don’t think it was the same Bill Miller that I went to. Maybe it was a fluke, but this place was awful. The background on the story is that I initially went to Rudy’s BBQ on SPID with a buddy for brisket, but they were out, so we decided to try this place out. Initial impressions of the restaurant were that it was extremely dirty, and the employees were not very professional. Some were leaning up against the walls and others were on their cell phones while a few worked. I ordered the brisket plate, with refried beans, mashed potatoes and a roll. My buddy ordered the brisket plate, sausage, fried chicken, refried beans and slaw. I’ll go through each item. Brisket: Not very moist, and doused in their bbq sause. It was pretty much ketchup with some seasoning, and didn’t have the flavor of other bbq places around the city. The brisket was definitely not slow cooked the way it is at Ruby’s, and it left a lot to be desired. Sausage: Overall, pretty good. Chicken: Dry; tasted like it was cooked at KFC, then sat under a heat lamp for 12 hours. Maybe this is because they just don’t sell that much chicken? Refried beans: My gut feeling is, if I walked behind the counter, I would see a case of refried bean cans from costco. I’m assuming, based on how they taste, they take them out of the can, heat them up in the microwave and put them on your plate. I’m not joking when I say Taco Bell’s refried beans taste better. Slaw: Not a thick slaw like you would expect in the south… More vinegar that anything else. Overall it was a pretty disappointing experience. We both found ourselves trying to figure out how a bad bbq place like that can stay in business in Texas. I really don’t rate places poorly at all, but this place was pretty bad. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place!

I regret dragging my feet to try out Bill Miller’s! The exterior wasn’t much to speak of, it looks a little run down. GETPASTTHIS if it’s a deterrent. After my wife burnt dinner yet again, I took it to myself to eat something that didn’t require a house fire detector going off to determine if it’s ready. I used the drive thru and I was shocked at the choices and selection, which the choices seemed endless! I went with a ½ chicken and a side of cole slaw and potato salad. The potato salad was ate first and inhaled. From what passed over my taste buds, it was excellent! The cole slaw was next. I’m very picky on cole slaw, and I have to say that this was the low point of the meal. I liked that it didn’t have a lot of mayo overpowering it, but it had too much vinegar. In the end, it’s probably fine for most people, but I like mine a specific way. The chicken was succulent and fell right off the bone. It had a nice smoky flavor that wasn’t overpowering. I didn’t care for the bbq sauce that they included, but really the chicken was juicy and tender enough that it didn’t need it. I will be back, and I regret being reluctant on checking out the place. The food is really good and the prices are very reasonable.

Had a couple brisket tacos and a carne guisada taco for breakfast at their drive thru window two days after the first meal. Nothing special, tortilla+meat+sauce, but still cheap n tasty.

I love this place! The best brisket and jalapeño sausage in Corpus. Their sweet tea is awesome!!! I could eat there all day long. I just wish they had regular white bread and not rolls. I wish MB was nationwide.
