Food was not even warm. The sandwich I ordered tasted okay, but not worth the $ 10.00 for the meal. Unfriendly service.

So I tell the cook what I would like to eat and he acknowledged me. Next thing I know he walked away to go change the trash can liner at the front that was spewing over. Then he proceeded to come back and prepare my food without changing his gloves. It wasn’t until I told him that he finally changed them. Told him 3 times I wanted the Turkey and sausage… He gave me Brisket and sausage. Didn’t feel like waiting another 15min to get my correct order but surprisingly the Brisket wasn’t to bad. Sausage was cold and dry and I would not recommend those green beans upon anyone, absolutely terrible. Overall I’m pretty sure this will be my last time coming here.

Been wanting to try Dickey’s for a while and finally made it over. In a former Bullchick’s location at Weber and Saratoga. Nice redecoration from the former décor. It Is rather small in terms of seating capacity, but the parking lot isn’t really spacious either. Have to wonder about opening with such limits hard set in place. To the food: the meats I got were brisket and sausage, wife got the brisket. My usual sides are potato salad and beans. Wife got mac and cheese, potato casserole and salad. All the sides are served in small bowl/containers. That kinda limits the salad IMO. However, the brisket and sausage were both good quality. The brisket wasn’t dry and was tender and smokey in flavor. The sausage was smokey and very palatable. For both of us, the sides really didn’t impress. The potato salad was kinda pasty. Orange in color. The BBQ beans tasted like they were from a can. Unlike MOSTBBQ restaurants, you can’t see the meats as you order. Well, I can see them cut ‘em ’cause I’m tall. But the average person can’t see the prep area over the counter. Had I seen the potato salad, I wouldn’t have ordered it. Wife says the same of the potato casserole. Small point, but to me it has value. The service was OK, but not real outwardly so. One guy walked in while we were eating and no one was behind the counter to serve him. Was in the back doing something until she was prompted from the front that she had a customer. It was an OK experience. Liked the meats, didn’t care for the sides much, didn’t like that I couldn’t see the meats or sides prior to ordering… and REALLY was disappointed in the prices. They’ve put their prices towards the top of CCTX market and their overall quality/experience don’t justify it. We got out of one of the local joints just a week previous for right at $ 20 for the exact same order. AND unlimited sides/drinks. We felt that the $ 26 dollar price was a bit high. Will we go back? If we were in the neighborhood, sure. But we’re not going to go out of our way for their stuff. There’s less expensive and frankly better options in town.

Beef was dry but had good flavor. Potato salad was mushy and tasted bad, as if it sat uncovered in a dirty refrigerator. Rude service and my order was incomplete. Last time I go there.

Not the best. Just ok. They were out of several things when I went despite being practically empty. Ribs are already sauced! That’s a no no in my book. Not as expensive as Rudy’s…definitely not as crowded.

Friendly enough but the food was cold and the meat was mealy. This was my fourth visit. I’m not feeling the love Dickey.

We had to try the grand opening. They should’ve had a soft opening to iron out the kinks. I’m been to other dickey’s in Texas and would give em 4 stars. I’m sure in 6 months this place will be better. The sides were as expected but the meat just wasn’t there. Too burnt… Not yet pit masters.
