Used to like this place but the one-star rating is a result of the last two visits here. Came a few weeks ago to get two MOIST brisket sandwiches, and got the toughest meat ever served. Came back today for the same sandwiches, and each sandwich had four small slices of brisket and half of each slice was pure fat. The girls are friendly, but they are not paying attention to what they are serving. If they are being told to serve meat that’s half fat, then they should quit and go ringworm for a company that cares about their customers. We won’t be back…

This was my first visit to Miller’s barbecue. The atmosphere was typical Texas, but the staff was very friendly. They have a Tuesday night special which is any sandwich chips and a drink for about $ 6.50, quite a bargain at a barbecue joint. I enjoyed the smoked turkey breast sandwich. The bun was fresh and warm the meat was smoked perfectly and the barbecue sauce had just enough spice in it to have a little kick! Good stuff…

Place we went to years back when we lived in Corpus. Super place, great sausage, meaty ribs. Sides are great, love the German potato salad and hickory bbq sauce.

Out of town again for a business trip and this place was brought in by the office. I was excited to try it after hearing«it’s the best BBQ place around here. I was disappointed when I ate. The brisket was dry and lacked some flavor, but the BBQ sauce helped the taste not the dryness… the Chicken was dry and when attempted to cut it crumbled… a little over cooked(better than under cooked) the mac and cheese was pretty okay but again a little bland in flavor. I didn’t try the beans or the potato salad but over all this is not a place I will seek out and eat at when I come back for a business trip!

Had lunch here and ordered their po’boy that had brisket, chopped beef and(spicy) sausage. This along with a side of potato salad and beans. Overall, for a $ 12+ lunch, it was rather disappointing. The brisket was dry and not as flavorful as I would’ve expected. If it weren’t for the spiciness of the sausage, there wouldn’t be much flavor in that either. The beans were cold and equally lackluster. I wound up adding some chopped onion and jalapeño to them just to get some flavor going. The only positives were the chopped beef and the potato salad. Oh, and the hickory BBQ sauce was okay, but very thin — almost watery. Service was okay — considering it’s cafeteria-style service. The restaurant was clean and empty trays and plates were taken away quickly. In a state where BBQ is as prevalent as flies on a picnic table, I would expect the competition to be fierce enough that Miller’s would be a solid contender. But, it’ll probably be a long time before I come back and give them another try.

For a BBQ chain type restaurant is one of the Best ones in town. Love the smoked turkry sandwich and the Pinto beans are always on point! Don’t get this confused with«Bill millers» much much better than that junk.

I have been eating at Miller’s since I was little started at the one on leopard and continue to eat at all their locations. They have the best sausage and brisket and bar b que sauce. I love this place and would recommend it to anyone who loves locally owned family establishments. Oh yeah they have the beat sweet iced tea that you can get. Stop in and say hello and don’t forget the beans and German potato salad

Tried carry-out, and was very disappointed. Brisket was dried out, and ribs were tough. No reason to go back.

It was ok people where nice only thing was I found a freaking FLY baked into the roll they severed and when I brought the issue up to management they just swapped it with another roll and went about their business so yea won’t be going back

We went for lunch. I had the poorboy. Super yummy. My uncle, who is a BBQ aficionado said it was some of the best brisket he’s had. This was a traditional Texas BBQ, all beef or chicken. We didn’t see the more traditional Carolina pork on the menu. The cole slaw was great and so was the potato salad. Free soft serve. Nice atmosphere. Definite thumbs up for this place.

The brisket wasn’t the best but it was good. The sauce was amazing. I will try this one again. I have gone to 12 different BBQ restaurants to find the best and this one is in the middle. I’ll need to do a second tasting though. Oh… the bread is wonderful as was the staff!

After seeing so many good reviews, we decided to come for dinner. The BBQ that day is very bad, and the staff were joking around and not paying attention to the customers. I hope that was just an exception but I may not try it again.

I don’t think you can go wrong here. Two of us had the sampler platter(enough food for 4 guys) and one person had the po’boy. All the meat is delicious. Their original sauce is better than the hickory but both are good. The original has just a hint of spicy zing to it. Décor is classic BBQ joint and prices are reasonable.

When I was here earlier in the year it wasn’t added on Unilocal yet. Now that it is here I get to tell everyone how much I loved it! The brisket was divine! Their sausage was so tasty! The décor was cute and you can not go wrong with the price. So cheap but so good!

I ate here a few months ago with my family, and was suprised that this restaurant had not been added to Unilocal yet. We ordered medium drinks(ice tea), and combo plates with brisket, sausage, potato salad, and beans. It came out to about $ 9 and some change for each person. The food was very good(esp. compared to the last barbecue place we went to); the brisket could possibly be a little bit more tender, but overall, a very good meal. But my brother’s favorite part was dessert. They have a ice cream machine in the restaurant where patrons can go and get as much ice cream as they want. Barbecue and ice cream – how yummy! We will definitely go back, because it is one of the few places that the whole family can enjoy the food.

Not happy with BBQ taste with this chain. Just moved here from out of state and unfortunately this restaurant is the closest to my home & will just driveby it for now on. Ordered about 5 different times only pickup as I don’t eat in restaurants this close to my home. Typically order chopped sandwiches and 2 lb sliced brisket. Chopped is almost minced and really looks disturbing while all brisket slices were of very poor quality not to mention very small portions. You’re at the mercy of the preparer here but I seemed to get screwed all the time. Sauce is terrible. Avoid(at least) this location like the plague.

Great atmosphere and décor, friendly employees, good food, nice portions, reasonable prices. Couldn’t ask for more. They have several items to choose from for children and you can choose from a wide variety of side items. The ice cream machine was always a nice compliment to the meal too. We ate there every week while living in Corpus Christi, and miss it now that we’ve moved. We typically ordered the combination plate with boneless chicken and brisket, but we have enjoyed all the varieties of meat at one time or another. I don’t know if they still do this or not, but they used to provide live music on Friday nights beginning around 6pm. It made a pleasant mealtime experience. If you’re lookiing for a place to hold a birthday party or some other celebration at, they will reserve one of the rooms/seating areas for your group. It may not be the most exciting place for a kid’s birthday, but for adult or general family gatherings, it would be nice.

Wow, this was good BBQ. Meat and two sides for $ 7 was a great deal, along with unlimited pickles, peppers, onions and other sides. The bonus was free soft serve ice cream for dessert. Take as much as you want. But back to the meat which is why people come here. The cuts are lean and there are two kinds of sauce: hickory or original. Both were fantastic but I would have to side with the hickory. Potato salad and cole slaw slides hit the spot with the meat.
