I had a really bad experience at Harvie’s in downtown Corsicana today. My mom bought my daughter a $ 40 belt there for Christmas. It was a cheaply made belt, and broke last week. We took it back, only to find out they have a SEVEN DAY return policy. They would not exchange the belt, even gong so far as saying (at first) they they didn’t ever sell any belts like that one. Then, when a receipt was mentioned (I didn’t have it with me, but offered to run to my mom’s and get it) they decided they HAD sold the belt, but it had been «abused.» This is a leather belt that a 12 y/o girl has worn to school maybe a maximum of 16 – 17 times. It HAS NOT been abused, but they refused to exchange it for another.
Let the buyer beware– keep all of this in mind if you shop there. you could be next.
