The food just keeps getting better, great happy hour. General manager Brandon, executive chef Bob, bartenders Stephanie and Owen along with the rest of the courteous, friendly staff are just s beginning to a wonderful dining experience.

Very fancy and nice staff. A bit fancy and overpriced for my taste. I also had to bug the host and hostess to kick these hanger-ons out so my party could sit down. It was 30 minutes over the reservation time. As a lone diner or with a few people I don’t mind waiting but it was a big party so I was more assertive than usual. It’s very pretty!

The last couple of times that we came here to eat was for a holiday buffet, but we decided that we(2 of us) should try the 3 course Prix Fixe meal($ 30 per person). It was fantastic !! The Prix Fixe menu for that day was Mushroom Soup, Shrimp Louie, Mahi Mahi, and Spinach with Lobster Sauce. How can you turn down a great deal like that? Not only was the food great, but the seating and service was also great. The tables for two were set up with one on the bench seat and one on a chair. I thought the spacing was a little tight, but it was actually perfect. There was room on the bench to put stuff on and still have room for people to sit. Also, the tables were far enough apart that you could have a conversation without raising your voice. The service was exceptional ! There was plenty of staff who always kept our drinks and bread bowl full. The place was pretty crowded on Saturday night, but we didn’t really notice any difference in service. If you are looking for a great place to have a great priced meal, check out the Seasonal Supper Menu on the Brick & Bottle website. It changes weekly so don’t miss your chance to get some great food at a great price !!

We rented out the Brick Room for a private event with 40 guests, and it was a great experience! We were looking for an affordable dinner option for a large party and worked with Sherry to discuss the options. Sherry was incredibly helpful in explaining the options and accommodate our many requests. We decided to go with the Brick Room since it could fit all our guests in a mixer-style format, where our guests could mingle while eating(versus a full sit-down meal). We ordered 2 types of appetizers(mac and cheese orzo shooters, pork meatballs), 2 salads(caesar, baby lettuce), and 4 types of pizzas(margherita, mushroom, duck confit, prosciutto) — which was a good variety for our guests. Our guests especially loved the mac and cheese shooters and all the pizzas. We would recommend Brick & Bottle to anyone looking for an affordable private event space with delicious food!

We’ve gotten meals delivered from Brick & Bottle by Dine-in Marin a couple of times, and we’ve been pretty impressed with the quality of food, especially for the price. We haven’t been to the restaurant itself yet, so we can’t speak to the in-house service, but the food we’ve tried has been extremely solid, and sometimes better. The first time, I tried a salmon dish and was pleasantly surprised that my salmon arrived to my house perfectly cooked and moist. That’s always a 50⁄50 bet in my experience with ordering salmon in restaurants. My husband had short ribs and loved them. We ordered scalloped potatoes and brussels sprouts as sides – the scalloped potatoes were decadent, and the brussels sprouts were crispy, salty perfection. On our second foray, I had the skirt steak, my husband had pork shoulder, and my son wanted to try duck, so we got the duck breast. Again, everything was really good. My only complaint would be that my skirt steak was a bit under-seasoned, though it was juicy and tender. My son’s duck breast was crazy yummy – just melted in your mouth. The red cabbage on the side was sweet and tangy. My husband was expecting something a little different with the pork shoulder, but he said it was delicious nonetheless. Next time, I think we’re going to try actually going to the restaurant! Although there’s something to be said for having delicious, quality comfort food delivered to your doorstep, especially when it’s raining…

Food was okay, but I was disappointed with the service. Waiter chose to not write down our order, and then forgot my soup. This is one of my biggest pet peeves about waiters — if you decided not to write down my order and get something wrong I’m going to be extra pissed. I was expecting the food to be better because of Brick & Bottle’s Bib Gourmand status, but it was just okay. I had the french onion soup and it was too sweet, and the burger. Burger was fine, fries were above average.

I continue to be impressed by the menu, the staff and the atmosphere. Tonight’s off the menu offering was absolutely delicious. Apparently the Chef does this sort of thing often? Anyhow, it was daring and exciting and I’m glad we made it in before they ran out. The Lobster Ravioli was pure GOLD! Thank you Chef and crew.

Went there a couple weeks ago with a friend for steaks. There are surprisingly few steak options in Southern Marin(other than Buckeye Roadhouse, which I like, but it was full that night), so we tried this place for the first time. Interior was open and somewhat noisy. Service was decent and friendly, but we did have to call the server over a couple of times when we hadn’t seen her for a while. Overall take-away was that the food was fine, but not amazing. I may try again if I’m in the area.

My bf and I decided we wanted to go to a steak house after we went shopping in Corte Madera. Thanks to Unilocal I was able to find this place! We didn’t have a reservation so we had to wait for 40 minutes. We ended up sitting at a long table that could sit up to 8. Nobody say next to us the entire time so it turned out to be very pleasant. We got to see the kitchen and expos on the move! I ordered the Pork Shoulder with mashed purée and jalapeño coleslaw! Yum! I ate the entire meal. My boyfriend got the Skirt Steak and he was very happy as well :-) We had the butterscotch desert with two cookies and we ate all of that too lol. Our waitress never told us her name but she was very attentive and nice! She even took my Unilocal coupon(pizza with checkin) and we had a free pizza for our appetizer! That was also very good! I don’t know if we will return because life is short and there are so many good places to try but I will always remember it!!! Good date night!

Brick & Bottle has nice décor inside, great lighting(not too bright, not too dark) and food that’s just okay. I imagine if you’re a big steak eater, Brick & Bottle is more enjoyable. It’s American food, so don’t expect to find pastas on the menu, but there is a pizza. I’ve been here twice, both times on a Friday because there’s no corkage fee which is great. The first time we ordered a Caesar salad, orzo mac and cheese, and risotto. The Caesar salad was good, but the orzo mac and cheese and risotto were both incredibly rich and creamy — I wouldn’t order them again. The second time we had a beet salad, Caesar salad, and margarita pizza. The pizza was good as were the salads but nothing special. The best part about Brick & Bottle is the specials — Sunday funday all day happy hour, and no corkage on Fridays. Overall, I’ll visit Brick & Bottle again, but will avoid any foods that could potentially be creamy. If you’re looking for something rich, the risotto and mac and cheese are for you.

Brick and bottle has been on my «to try» list for a long time. Finally got around to it. I am sad to say that it was a bit of a disappointment. There was nothing terrible. Service was solid. Drinks were pretty solid. The Mac and cheese was pretty tasty. Definitely the standout. But beyond that the rest of the food was simply mediocre. We certainly can do better at home(not what you want to feel when dining out). All that said, prices were reasonable, which is a big plus nowadays.

I can’t say enough. The food is delicious. The mac and cheese that came with the chicken was to die for. They used a tiny pasta called orzo and the sauce had smoked gouda. It really mimicked risotto. The braised spare ribs melted to the touch although the accompanying horseradish potatoes could have stood a tad more horseradish. It was hard to find, but then I adore horseradish. The menu was the perfect size: not overwhelmingly large, but lots of choices that made it hard to decide because it all sounded delicious. I regretted not ordered the ahi poke when I walked by and saw it in the expediting area.(I’ll be back, for sure.) The staff was beyond professional and pleasant. We never once had to flag down anyone for anything. Our server was always a step ahead and very thoughtful. The place was bustling on a busy Friday night, but it seemed status quo as the staff and kitchen appeared calm and collected. The place was organized, clean!(I know, sometimes hard to find in restaurants), and well operated. You can’t beat a good restaurant that knows how to bus tables, in my opinion. It’s a lost art. This was a really great restaurant tucked in next to a great bookstore. I recommend both.

Michelin Recommended and Bib Gourmand winner with $ 13 margherita pizza was free with Unilocal check-in say what?! This is the most expensive free check-in deal I’ve ever received! I thought that was pretty neat. Not only that, the free pizza was absolutely delicious with a well-made brick-oven crust & fresh basil. I tried their lime soda & thought it was decent. I also tried the braised pork with horseradish potatoes, wine sauce & broccolini. The horseradish potato was my favorite. I thought the meat was tender, flavorful & not too seasoned, the vegetables were light & fresh & not overcooked & the potatoes were moist & unique in flavor. I am not sure what the«Brick» in Brick & Bottle refers too because I saw no brick walls but perhaps there’s a brick oven I don’t know about? You can make reservations online thru Open Table. They also have nightly specials & happy hours.

Had some friends from the east bay coming over to join us for dinner and we could not decide on where to go. BINGO! You guessed it, I turned to Unilocal and I’m glad I did. I am very skeptical when looking for new places to eat because sometimes reviews are harsh due to it being they are first timers or not. But I will say I’m writing this review because I was highly impressed with everything they had to offer and yes this was my first visit but I will be going back again. #1 thing that sold me into wanting to check this place out was that they offer a free margarita pizza, it says with an entrée but our waiter just mentioned any other item. Again, a regular sized-6 sliced margarita pizza & it was delicious! Very impressed for a free pizza.(See photo below) The rest of the food we got was throughly enjoyed as well… ahi tuna tartare, orzo mac n cheese, beets salad, prime rib sandwich, pork sliders and french fires… All off of their happy hour menu which was a fewer dollars cheaper than buying it at regular price. Service was quite well, a couple times I was wondering where our server was but it wasn’t a big deal as I was enjoying the evening with friends, in the sun shine out on the patio and not in a rush. Overall had a wonderful visit with on-top-of-it staff, great music and delicious food!

This is hands-down one of the best happy hours in Marin. No joke. Most restaurants boast happy hours that offer a few bucks off wines by the glass/well drinks and maybe some discounted apps(if you’re lucky). The promo is usually from 4pm — 6pm, and it’s usually slim pickings. But not at Brick & Bottle. These guys offer a DAILY happy hour from 4:30pm — 7pm. All beers on tap are $ 4, wine by the glass is $ 5, and select cocktails are $ 6. The drinks are certainly worth the visit. But what really puts this happy hour over the top is the food. I’m talking about $ 3 Pork Sliders, $ 3 Tacos, $ 6 Roasted Beet Salad, $ 4 Orzo Mac N’ Cheese, French Fries with Aioli for $ 3, and gourmet Pizzas for $ 8-$ 9. And that’s just half of the menu offerings. Seriously, you’re not going to find better prices in town for the quality of food(before 7pm). BTW, on Tuesdays they offer $ 2 oysters and $ 5 martinis all night long! * And for all you Unilocalers out there, if you check in with your mobile app, you’ll receive a complimentary Pizza Margherita when you order an entrée. This is def one happy hour that will put a smile on your face! I’m coming back for sure.

A change in Management makes a whole lotta difference, and this place figured it out. The host engaged us right away to offer a dining table with a view of the TV, as my son and I walked in last minute for happy hour to watch the Giants WS game 7. The bar area was packed with people, not even a waitlist could be started, as the patrons were probably staying there ’til closing. We chose to have dinner, and our server Mallory explained the kids’ menu to us. I think there should be more kids’ options with a variety of fruits to choose from. My son settled for the sliders, which came with fries, but he really wanted red grapes instead of fries — they couldn’t fix that problem. Our server suggested meatballs for him in addition to sliders, yet he didn’t care for them, as they came with mashed potatoes at the bottom… looked gross to him; therefore, he ordered another plate of sliders, which this time he passed on the fries. I’d like to suggest putting 3 sliders on a dish, as the humongous plate looked empty with only 2 sliders on it. Steep prices for kids’ sliders at $ 9 per plate with whopping 2 sliders. There’s no actual dessert for kids, except for a scoop of vanilla ice cream, which costed more than a teensy at Three Twins. As for my dinner, the mussels were delicious and paired great with their focaccia bread. I was amazed at how plentiful a half order was. The rum cake dessert was still on the menu. It paired nicely with Malbec, and Wednesday half off bottles was icing on the cake. Overall, staff were attentive, and I’m glad to see it hoppin’ again.
