Luisa is the best! We have been with her about 14 years and even though we moved from that area have still been going to see her for many years. Luisa is always a pleasure to see — she is professional, kind, thoughtful and takes the time to explain things. We are sad to have to leave her after so many years but know that anyone who sees her is in great hands. Simply cannot recommend her enough.

I have been a patient if Dr. Ambrosiano for 12 years now. She is a gem of a dentist and person. She has years of experience yet is so down to earth and truly cares. Her front desk assistant Henrietta is friendly and welcoming. And the office is full of thoughtful comforting extras which those who are dentist-phobic will appreciate. As I get older I appreciate that Dr. Ambrosiano has spared me potential pain and inconvenience by keeping my teeth healthy. She is great for kids too.

There are good dentists and there are great dentists. Their are dentists that are even better than that. This is Luisa. From the moment you enter her office, you are treated like royalty. She remembers you, asks how you are, and even lets you choose music to listen to while she works on your teeth. She is gentle and communicative. I have been going to her for years and it has always been a pleasure. She is honest to a fault and never recommends unnecessary procedures.

Louisa is one of the best dentists ever. She is so kind and her equipment is really modern so going to the dentist isn’t painful at all. She even lets you pick your music when she cleans your teeth with this water pic device. I even kept going to her for a couple years after I moved to LA because she is so wonderful. I highly recommend her.

Luisa is simply the best. Professional, warm, gentle, informed, ethical and punctual: she has it all. Plus her office is very bright and conveniently located in the Corte Madera Town Center. I’ve been going to her for over twenty years for all my dental care. I moved to Sonoma County a couple of years ago. I initially thought I would find a local dentist, but then after reflection I asked myself«What are the chances that I’ll find a dentist with the same level of professional experience, lightness of touch and courteousness?» It’s just so rare. So I still drive down to Marin to see Luisa. I recently went for some fillings that required anesthetic. As usual, she was running on-time. After a friendly chat, she reviewed the procedure and got me settled in the chair. She was careful that my tooth was well anesthetized before proceeding and reminded me that if should tell her if I was feeling any pain. I listened to music while she prepared the area of my tooth and applied a special compound that exactly matched the color of my tooth. She said I’d be in and out in an hour. I was. She said it wouldn’t hurt. It didn’t. She said that when she was done, I wouldn’t be able to tell that my tooth had ever had l big ugly brown grooves where the enamel had been worn down. I couldn’t. She said all the painful sensitivity in that tooth would go away. It did. I had a similar procedure done on another tooth three or four years ago. The results have held up perfectly. This recent visit exemplifies my previous experiences. My wife recently had her semi-annual check up. Same great experience. My parents go to her. My brother moved to LA and he still schedules his appointments with Luisa around his visits to the Bay Area. My son, who only has eight teeth will go to Luisa.

I’ve been seeing Luisa twice a year since my first teeth popped through 25 years ago. She is a caring, gentle dentist, and I’m a wimp. I went to another dentist once when I lost my insurance and needed a cleaning, it was horrible and traumatic and they tried to tell me I needed a bunch of porcedures that I didn’t really require. Bums. I went in for a filling a few months ago and asked her to just knock me out and take care of it. Luisa politely declined and talked me through the entire process step by step. She works with such precision that she didn’t need to use any anesthetic at all. Although my sweating palms and racing heartbeat distracted me from zoning out to the Kanye West blasting through my headphones, the entire procedure took less than 30 minutes, and I didn’t have to deal with that droopy lip thing! My 4 year old loves going to see her, She gets a toy, a toothbrush, and gets to watch a cartoon in the waiting room while my teeth get cleaned. I also love that they lock the waiting room door when my daughter is there with me. It is never busy, and she scheudules extra time for each patient, so we can catch up on what has changed in the last 6 months. I am deducting 1 star for billing. I’m covered by 2 insurance policies, and we’ve had some issues with the rotating receptionist staff not having the most updated info available. Also, we were overbilled by a couple dollars(literally, $ 3) a few times, which just shows a slight lack of professionalism to me. However, Luisa has a steady receptionist now, so I’m hoping those problems disappear. Overall, our entire family loves her.
