My business is residential real estate and I have been using Margie Peterson as my stager for my listings for the past several years. She is quite simply brilliant! She has a team that includes painters, contractors, landscapers, floor experts, etc. Margie is a one stop stager! She has absolutely transformed homes into show stoppers. I would venture to say that Margie is more than a stager. I trust and am constantly amazed at how she creatively approaches each and every project and pulls miracles seemingly out of thin air! Margie has a stellar track record, and I know beyond a shadow of a doubt, that I can count on her consistently to create a beautiful home that practically sells itself. She completes my projects on time which is a major plus in the real estate business. She is right up there with the best in the business and a true professional.

I have had the pleasure of working with Margie Peterson for several years and have found her to be professional, creative and very easy to work with. She has a sense of style and innovation that suits the situation and needs, both with her staging work as well as in her store. Would recommend her highly and her team for house sale prepping and staging work as well the unique, consigned finds.

I’m not one to Unilocal as much, but after the amazing experience that I had in Margie’s store I couldn’t help it! I have moved a total of about 3 times in San Francisco and every time I move I look for something to change up the look of my place. I was actually visiting a friend in Marin and came across this little consignment store that was nestled in a small plaza and said to myself ‘why not take a look inside.’ Once I stepped foot inside this adorable store I immediately fell in love. There were so many amazing things in this wonderful store. The store itself was fantastic, but what really caught my attention was the service! It was incredible! Once I took a look around I explained to Margie what in particular I was looking for and she said she has just the right thing. It’s been months since I’ve been trying to look for a table that fits right by my stove that would be compact yet useful(especially living in SF). Margie then proceeded to show me this fantastic side table that was so compact and just the right demensions! She knew exactly what I was looking for! At this point I knew that I was in good hands. She was so knowledgable and helpful I decided to get a few more things to complete my home. I can tell she has had YEARS of experience and obviously knew what goes with what so I put all my trust in her and now my place feels homey and I love having friends over and letting them know where I got all my things! I would definitely recommend Margie’s store and I can’t stop raving about how amazing the service is as well as how awesome Margie was! This place is a MUST when in Corte Madera!

I’m a huge fan of finding knick knacks and original pieces to put around my home and it’s hard to find places in the City that sells such things. Peterson’s is a good place to start if you want to find things that no one else really has.

Had a terrible experience with Margie Peterson as it related to staging our house for sale. Unprofessional, error ridden, untimely, etc. Due to the large number of problems we encountered, I would never consider using Margie Peterson as a stager.

Margie runs a wonderful business! I love her attitude and smile. I can tell she really enjoys making her customers happy. I’m all about supporting my local businesses over the big chain stores and Peterson’s is one of the longest standing consignment & design stores around. It’s all about keeping the community and culture alive! :)

Small little shop. Lots of Parisian and Country Home décor. Great little finds and it is a few doors from a clothing consignment shop called what poppy wants. Great shops to clear out some of your items from your home. When you get paid back for your consignment you can go next door and get your nails done!

I got a call today from Margie to give her a hand to move some of her furniture into a home that was just going on the market. When I first met her I thought, wow, what a sweet, kind, and genuine woman! She is very knowledgeable about furniture and interior design plus she owns her own consignment store with a lot of classy and affordable household merchandise such as; sofas, tables, chairs, dishware, silverware, vases, lamps, chandeliers and beautiful tea sets. What else could you ask for?! Oh wait, jewelery and purses as well! My girlfriend was ranting on how cute and quaint all of her items were. If you just moved into a new home and need to add some sophisticated style Peterson’s Consign is a store you can achieve the vision you have been dreaming of! Also if you are working on selling your home she has the right pieces of furniture to stage your home to achieve the vision buyers will be looking for.

If you like upscale consignment, then you will absolutely adore Margie at Petersons Consign and Design. Margie, the owner, is wonderful and delightful; has a great eye for upscale goodies and design and it shows in this cute little shop just off the square in Corte Madera. She, in fact, IS a designer. Along with various home décor goods she also has a fair array of antiques. Personally, some of the upscale antiques I have purchased, I bought from Petersons. Most of her items comes from upscale homes in Marin so the quality of items are fantastic. Go and see for yourself. You wont be disappointed. The only thing you will say is that you will never go home empty handed.

Love, love, love this fabulous consignment shop just across the square from Stellar Spa in Corte Madera. The owner, designer & home stager Margie Peterson will invite you in with a welcome smile. You really must stop in on a regular basis to find the best treasures! This is not your typical consignment store. Some items are barely used or brand new. You can bring in treasures of your own that just don’t seem to work anymore. Check out her website to see the variety of things she carries. Margie prices items reasonably and displays it with her usual decorating flair… she offers decorating & staging services as well. Peterson’s Consign and Design is a hidden gem.

I love the array of items found at Peterson’s Consign and Design. The furniture, and household items are a reflection of local traffic, so it gives it a ‘homey’ feeling. Margie’s warm and hospitable nature carries the shop to the next level. Let your imagination go when you enter the door, you might find something unexpected to enliven your place! I’ve also consigned here many times and found a good turnabout.

I’m not much of a consignment hunter, so when I stopped by this tiny little shop, it was just a lucky whim. Peterson’s is nestled on a pretty, quiet row of seemingly forgotten shops, just up the block from the Twin Cities Deli. I opened the little wooden door– the kind reminiscent of a country cottage, where the top half swings open, warmly inviting guests inside– and was greeted by Margie, the friendly shop owner. Peterson’s offers an eclectic collection of lovingly used home goods, furniture, linens, post cards, little antiques and picture frames. The place is small, but well-packed with goodies. You really need to do a couple laps to see all of the hidden treasures in this quaint shop. I picked up a couple of antique postcards and chatted with Margie. She was like a wonderful Marin County docent, telling me all the places I should see while on my visit. So, grab a sando at Twin Cities and then head up to go see Margie. She’s terrific. And you just might find some cool little piece to complete your living room!
