Shoe Pavilion

This little discount shoe store seems so OUT OF PLACE in this small upscale shopping center.
I was just strolling around Town Center after lunch recently with my out-​of-​town friend when she said «Let’s go in here!»
Ok, so this is Corte Madera, even a discount shoe store must have some really cute shoes in it. I was game.
I walked up and down every single aisle. Seemed like they had a lot of empty display spaces. The Shoe Pavilion in the City is crammed with shoes. .. . this one was not! Even the styles they did have only had one or two sizes.
I couldn’t find a single pair of sandals that I just couldn’t live without. My friend bought THREE PAIRS to put in her suitcase to take back to Georgia. Maybe I’m just too picky, or maybe it is because I really didn’t NEED any new shoes, but this place didn’t get any of my hard earned $$.
Whatever! When I shop in a discount store in an upscale shopping center I really do expect it to be crammed full of really great shoes at really great prices. .. even if they are last seasons styles!
