Ate here based on the Unilocal reviews and we were not disappointed! Got the grouper and snapper they had on special. Was delicious! Key lime pie for desert was also amazing! Great place!

Imagine our excitement to find this little gem in our neighborhood. The vibe is typical Cortez, awesomely quaint and coastal cute. The food was amazing and even the non seafood eater enjoyed an amazing Mojo Chicken Sandwich. Wait staff was friendly and efficient and we got to check out boats and birds while we ate. Amazing find! Often busy, so plan accordingly!

Okay, so upon first glance, the place doesn’t look like much… but oh my goodness, looks are so deceiving! We walk in this evening and are immediately greeted with a smile and great suggestions for starters. Our waiter was super helpful, the food was amazing and my kids were treated so well. I will definitely come back here the next time we’re in town!

What a great experience! Very friendly, family-owned restaurant. Jesse was very personal and took care to know everyone’s names. Great food! We had the fish tacos and the blackened grouper. Their hot sauce and coleslaw made the tacos amazing! If you’re around, I would highly recommend!

Thank you for once again providing my son and I with a delicious meal! I would highly recommend this spot for the great service, outstanding view and wonderful fresh seafood. The New England clam chowder is good enough to be served on the docks in Boston, The blackened grouper is the freshest that I have ever tasted and the conch fritters are exactly as a fritter should be. You can tell that they make all of their own sauces and I would recommend trying the homemade hot sauce on the fish tacos. I had carrot salad, which I normally would not order, but a comment I made forced my hand. It was surprisingly great and I think that I will order it again next time. We are also always fed quickly and enjoy the atmosphere!

Tide Tabes is one our favorites in the area! Seafood is fresh and excellent. Last night our table had seafood platter, Maui Maui, and fish tacos. Everyone loved their meals! We also shared the key lime pie, this is the best we have found. The sunset was beautiful too. We are beer drinkers, so we enjoyed Darwin brews. We heard they have a nice wine selection. This is a causal Restaurant with high class food.

This place is one of my all time favorite spots in Florida. If you find yourself in this great town on vacation, stop by tide tables. The fish tacos are out of this world! Also the conch fritters and grouper bites make for a great plate to share.

Been coming down to Cortez for years and never ever knew about Tide Tables until uncle Jim hipped us up– glad he did. The sunshine is abundant, the food is terrific, Louie the Bartender was awesome and I am sure I had the BESTFISHTACOSEVER! They hide a smudge of Sesame Ginger dressing in the slaw that makes it wonderful. Don’t give up on Star Fish but do give Tide Tables a try. You won’t be disappointed!

Good food and great service and a wonderful view from the bar I watched dolphin swim in the sunshine and there was no extra charge. A consortium of local and restaurants business types make for a nice place. Good outdoor seating area clean restrooms and a general nice atmosphere. One of the owners is from the AE Bell Fishing Company the last commercial fishing company located here in Cortez on the gulf side of Florida. So they get first pick of the fresh fish off of boats everyday. A nice casual place which is not to pricey. There are lots of craft beers from Florida some from nearby Bradenton and some from Sarasota so lots of decent beer choices. Staci the bartenderwas very knowledgeable of the beers and the food and the area. Cortez has an old Florida feel to It.

OMG! Delicious! We had the fish tacos, grouper bites, conch fritters, with baked beans and cole slaw. Homemade hot sauce #5 is delicious and the The Buddha beer was amazing! Great atmosphere! Everything we chose was simply delicious! Glad we stopped by.

The grouper melts in your mouth. Loved the casual atmosphere, and appreciated the outdoor heaters since it was a cooler night. My partner loved the red snapper also. You can tell it’s all fresh caught.

After trying Thai Palace for dinner unsuccessfully, I scrambled for a place to eat due to dinner options being scant on a Sunday night. I found this place on Unilocal.I had 30 minutes before closing. Initially I sat at the outside bar but then I spotted some bar stools and a counter in the corner right over the water. What prime real estate for eating! The sound of the waves slapping against the shore added a calmness to the ambience. I ordered the conch fritters and grilled scallops, which cost $ 28.65. I think this is a bit pricey for one person given the amount of food, but oh well. The food arrived about ten minutes after ordering, which was good. However, neither dish was spectacular — just your average seafood. I thought the scallops were slightly over salted, and the coleslaw had a funny taste, as if it had spoiled. Nonetheless, the meal achieved the goal — eating since breakfast!

Great casual and friendly atmosphere! This place is located right off the water and offers indoor and outdoor seating. The waitress told us Tide Tables is most famous for its shrimp and grouper so our party split two combo baskets(shrimp, scallops, and Mahi and Mahi. You can upgrade to grouper for $ 4.) We got one of the baskets fried and the other blackened. Both were delicious! We had one non-seafood eater so she got the mojo chicken with slaw and homemade barbecue baked beans. They tasted so good! Everyone at our table was happy and satisfied. I highly recommend if you’re in the area to check out this place! The only downside? No sweet tea. That’s always a «bummer» in my book.

This was the hottest, largest sized, and freshest plate of fried shrimp that I have ever had. As we bit into our shrimp, you could see steam. So fresh, so quick, and so tasty. The service was great. If you dig Star Fish, you’ll dig this place too.

Wow — what an impressive first visit. Our group of six arrived early for dinner on a week night to beat the crowds and were quickly seated at a picnic table outside. No frills, just casual, dockside dining. Our waitress was friendly and explained their specials. She arrived with our drinks quickly — two wines, two beers and a couple of soft drinks for the kids. We ordered the Cajun grouper bites to share as an appetizer… perfectly seasoned and fried grouper bites with a tartar and Cajun sauce. Very flavorful with the perfect hint of space. Our dinner orders included two grouper baskets and one grilled shrimp basket. The grouper was perfectly seasoned and grilled — the best we have found in the area. The fries were nothing fancy, but perfectly crisp. The cole slaw was basic, but we’ll done. Our waitresses offered the homemade key lime pie for dessert, but we were too full. Definitely on the small side, but friendly and inviting. Go early and sit outside. It will be on our must visit list when we are back in town!

Loved this joint! So casual AND delicious. Great fried mushrooms and fried grouper bites for appetizers and their fried shrimp was some of the best I had in the area. Can’t wait to go back next time we’re in town! Shout out to Jesse for being a great bartender that knows how to order good beer. :)
