A little while ago, I needed to rent a tuxedo for my son who was up in Boston and couldn’t come in to be fitted. Based on my guesswork on measurements, I picked up a perfect outfit the kind people at Marty’s assembled and my son’s weekend was saved. Great service, reasonable price.

Driving up and down route 6 for years, finally I was invited to a Fraternity reunion in Chicago and learned that Saturday dinner will be formal. I had my tux already but needed the touches that would make me look like me.
Suddenly I had an AHA moment. That little store I pass all the time– I drove there and found Marty’s had the exact cummerbund and bowtie I needed to complete my attire. I was treated like I was purchasing a top of the line silk tuxedo, despite my modest purchase.
I would recommend them to everyone.
Apparently some patron didn’t appreciate the personal service and strangely reacted negatively– She must be used to indifferent Walmart Kmart sales help

I had asked my prom date to my prom a month and a half before the prom, but she did not pick her dress until the friday before the prom (which was on a monday). I brought her and her dress that saturday and was able to walk out with a great looking tux that matched her dress, which was a not common shade of pinkish/​red. the guy john was very accommodating, as well as the other girl working there (who has great taste) and they definitely know their stuff. they even let me return it a day late penalty-​free because they knew i had tough plans for afterword. the pricing was moderately competitive, but if you have a coupon or discount card you will fare well. I would without hesitation recommend this place to anyone who needs to be fitted to a tux.

I’ve used Marty’s Formal Wear on NUMEROUS occasions and I will never go anywhere else, they have dressed me for prom, family weddings, benefit dinners and so many other events, they will do my wedding, and any other event I need them. You absolutely must use them, the staff is knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I can’t sing their praises enough, go see for yourself!

I’m all for supporting local businesses, however when I received a text message on my cell phone from the owner (Jonathan Nissenblatt) copy/​pasted verbatium because I cancelled the appointment after receiving a PHENOMENAL DEAL ELSEWHERE «all id like you to take from this is that marty’s has been doing rentals (tuxes and suits; adults and kids) for 37+ years. That’s all we’ve done! We are a specialist. And if we weren’t the best… and didnt work out the best packages for wedding parties then we wouldnt have lasted a year… yet alone 37! U spoke to my employee, but you should do yourself a favor and set up an appt with me. i am not kidding; we have a store full of kids coats and pants to try-​on. if you arent willing to set aside 15 minutes to hear and see my presentation & work out a price for the kids that will stop you in your tracks. shame on you… and i wish you good luck sincerely Jon @ martys»
Unless you want to get harassed via text do yourself a favor and DONT GO HERE… go to the chains where they offer highly competitive deals, free rentals, money towards a suit being made etc.
DONT SAY I DIDNT WARN YOU!
