Exclent information, service, and even took time to teach me how to fix a flat! When I entered the door, looking to see if the bike I had in-mind was there, there it was! Pure luck, even my color choice! One note; the business is no longer on Washington. It is now on 2nd St

This shop offers skilled repairs from a nice group of guys. They are reliable, affordable, and I’m always comfortable taking my bike(s) there for a repair. They also have a decent selection of bicycles, new and used.

One of the more minimalist, low-key shops in town. I like the feeling of this place, and the couch, bicycle books, and retro-bikes for sale reinforces this point. Also take note of the beautifully restored Schwinn Paramount hanging from the ceiling, Peugeot PX-10, etc, but you don’t go to a bike shop to look at the crap and leave(or do you?) The folks working have always treated me well since I started coming in a couple years ago. In the Summer don’t go in expecting a tune-up to happen in a few hours. Sometimes — and if you don’t live in Corvallis I can understand why you wouldn’t understand this — there are month-long waits during high-season. The work they do is top-notch, from pretty much all around. I didn’t really feel like they went super out of their way to get me fit to a new bike when I was sniffing around that option, but then again they’ve a small inventory and stocking mutant-large frames like I like isn’t really wise. But regardless, they’re pretty much the only place I take my bike to get worked on. One caveat: they are a really nice bunch of guys that’ll chat you up fabulously over whatever you’re into, but don’t expect them to re-pack your rear-hub, BB, at whatever time before they’ve had their coffee or whatever. Two memorable episodes I had were when I had a wheel that was border-line, and dude dropped it on the counter, then to the ground. It didn’t taco the wheel, necessarily, but it didn’t do it any favors. They also got somewhat froggy on the adjustment nut on my saddle before I intervened. This was probably wrong on my part, anyway, but I have just heard horror stories. This was also two bad experiences on-top of many, many good experiences. They stock Cannondales, so make sure to get your CAAD from them, they also stock the versitile Jamis line and can get just about whatever on a quick turnaround from those two manufacturers. A guy I know also got a internal-geared hub bike through them and had great results. Always nice to have a great local bike shop, and this is certainly one of them.

By far the most down to earth bike shop you will find in Corvallis. All of the staff is extremely knowledgeable in literally any type of cycling. Lots of focus on used bikes and competitive prices. If you’re looking for a pleasant respectful non-elitist bike shop experience this is the place for you. Also the most fixed-gear friendly shop I’ve found in Corvallis, you will not be persecuted for your love of one gear here.
